Iirc its a tarrifs side effect, because usa is not trading dollars for thirdie junk, the thirdies have a dollar shortage, but they still need them to trade with other thirdies, so they have to "buy" them. (Their banks run out of liquidity then they need to call j pow for a fix)

when i used to work as parking guy i would have declined to issue a ticket in this situation. law enforcement is very pedantic about wording. i would have had to talk to the sign guys to see about specificity of the meaning of the word green and to change it to reflect the original intent of the signage.

also this market is trying my patience.

The supreme leader retweeted an article about "Dow 50k" just 2h ago.
At the end of the article it says
>Dow 50,000 is not the end of the story. It is the market beginning—once again—to price in American prosperity under Trump-style economic leadership. For retirees, long-term investors, and pension funds that depend on sustained growth rather than financial engineering, a productive, investment-driven Trump economy provides not just higher returns, but long-term solvency, financial security, and peace of mind

I never said silver trading halted you dense nigger, I said they halted trading in silver funds which they did and they temporarily closed the stock market because the selloff reached the daily 10% limit which is a mechanism in the Chinese stock market, but yes silver ETFs were priced well above the value of their silver because people were mass buying in, the CCP then halted it because it became A BUBBLE, THAT'S CALLED A BUBBLE WHEN AN ASSET HAS A RAPID UNSUSTAINABLE INCREASE IN PRICES

A good way to confirm that it indeed was a bubble is the fact that since then silver prices are down 40% and that's in the span of WEEKS
>>
>>61844256
That's correct. Even if parking guy did write a ticket I bet it would not hold up to appeal. Sign says green. There is not asterisk or fine print. Just green. Truck IS green. End of story.

I have 50k in total in MU and that’s a lot for me, but I’m going to hold. Until April probably. I’m hoping the earnings report at the end of march will push it past the 450-500 range. I’ve been trading as a non serious hobby for a few years and have learned that when it comes to big tech it generally pays to wait.

Dividends are great in a tax advantaged account. Of course if you did Pelosi style leaps on NVDA youd have make a fortune in that same account. Still, gotta get those tax breaks either way.

Im a fan of parking my excess cash in SGOV for a modest return while I wait for dips or monthly buys

Good man. Remember what we learnt last week, though: This market is completely capable of spooking itself on no news for no reason. Trailing stop loss orders are your friends, if you don't have the spare time or the inclination to monitor your holdings all day long. Which some do, apparently. But not me.

And yes, Micron's March earnings will tell us a good deal about how the rest of the year will unfold.

they're having a moment babe. times like these you don't want to buy them though. the right time to buy schd was '20 when nobody wanted them, and there was a glut of money to invest. dividends won't be the play again until the investment environment is saturated. you want to buy companies that are investing back into the business with high roi.

you've been really mean to me lately, and it hurts bad. wish you would forgive me again, apologize for some of the things you've said. we'd make great partners. things are rough now, but you and me were always going to have a bumpy road, with so many disagreements, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

It is also the enemy of performance. If you want diversification, IMHO you ought to invest in a nice cozy mutual fund and let the fund manager worry about what to buy or sell, and in what increments, and when.

Put all your eggs into a few baskets and keep a sharp eye on them. Warren Buffet said that.

Diversification, if done correctly, reduces volatility without reducing performance. The trick is to diversify in assets that have correlation<1 and the same expected return since it reduces the covariance. If you know about investing, you should know volatility is a more important metric than returns since you can leverage more the lower the volatility. Lowering volatility without lowering returns is essentially free money.

Warren Buffets view only works if you have a higher certainty in probabilistic outcomes for a specific asset, ie because you did the exhaustive hard work in researching and estimating the intrinsic worth of the asset and you know what you are doing ie you know more about it than the market "dig an inch wide and a mile deep". In that case if that asset has a higher return with some degree of confidence, there's no reason not to take the higher return, for the same reason you don't diversify into bonds or bank accounts, it's better to put 100% in the higher return asset (stock market). But you are not Warren buffet and you are not doing any of that hardwork so it's a completely mute point.

In short, you don't know wtf you are talking about.

theyre not though thats what all the uninformed people think. Let’s be honest. If you were Dutch. You would see if you can take out as much cash as you can. Drive across whatever border you need to. And buy as much gold or gold jewelry you can for best price. With no records and sit on it.

This is how FIAT currency debt based systems unravel. They become financially repressive and confiscatory.

The end is nearing.

US biggest export for last two months? Gold.

Anyone here understand what that actually means? Let’s see if there are any non pants-on-head stupid answers.

Retard reply 1 out of the way. Congratulations. There always one stupid enough and eager enough to be the first. Who’s next.

It's not any different. If you actually read the charts, you would notice that these peaks are LATER than the silver spot peaks and coincide with earnings.

Let's say you make 10% per year on average
36% tax on unrealized gains is equivalent to a 3.6% fee.
It could be considered predatory and illegal if a bank or hedge fund charged this fee.

Over a lifetime, it will drain the majority of an investor's money.

This guarantees no social mobility: if you were born poor you will die poor.

we're in a down market with a rotation to value under the surface. we are testing last week's lows. feels like the market is saying that if inflation is bad, we definitely continue lower. imagine if we get a good number though we can have a big up day tomorrow.
