Oil is abiotic, like and infinitely occuring milk born of norther earth, a gift from God, father of our lord Jesus Christ, in this white Christian ruled age of 2026 years since the resurrection of the pamb of God, therefore oil should be valued close to at $4 per barrel, minus maintenance fees.

I didn't know Titan has oil, a quick search on it reveals what appears to be mental gymnastics to justify non-abiotic origin. I was aware of the soviets belief it's abiotic, that's piqued my interest when the topic comes up. The idea that it's all dead organisms locally squished into reservoirs just seems implausible. And, allegedly, it only happened because some bacteria wasn't present yet to break stuff down adequately?

Just seems like one of those things that future generations will dunk on us for, thinking we're retarded for believing such.

The truth is no one knows and will not know.

both explanations are plausible and its moot because its a "we won the cold war" point of pride issue so its not going to be overturned or reexamined any time soon.

Yes and no
Most of the oil on earth came from organic matter but since oil consists of nothing but hydrogen and carbon it can occur anywhere those two elements exist if conditions are right.
Here on earth, for example, it is possible to make oil by combining carbon monoxide and hydrogen via the Fischer-Tropsch process, similar conditions in terms of temperature and pressure might occur on parts of titan which is where its oil could have come from
>>
>>62095000
Yeah, generally speaking entropy spreads things out and eventually makes everything the same, life does the opposite. There's crystals too but ofc diamonds are rare for carbon, and require incredible energy to create. It's the same energy we're bumming off when we burn oil, dinosaurs and trees slaved for hundreds of millions of years so that American car brands could make plastic fucking control arms and oil pans to carry even more oil that gets burnt when the engine explodes cause it was designed with paper head gaskets to save 0.002mpg

The conditions needed occur naturally on earth deep below the surface, thats how all the oil got there in the first place, using carbon captured by prehistoric life as a feedstock
There is only real difference between this natirally occurring process and the artificial one known to science is the time-scales involved, with natural oil taking hundreds of millions of years to form compared to mere days/hours in a well managed reactor
>so why aren't we using these reactors everywhere then?
There are two main reasons: firstly the process requires more energy than you get out of the oil it produces and secondly it is more expensive than digging up natural oil, primarily due to electricity costs and the need for fancy catalysts to speed things up
It is worth noting at this point that the introduction of renewables into the equation solves the net energy loss problem and recent events have made the cost issue far less relevant than it once was

RWD is a superior drive train configuration. Only MR configuration comes close(most AWD configurations are not biased enough either). FWD only has a safety aspect. Torque steer and unequal driveshafts make it a terrible feeling configuration and it takes quite a lot of engineering to make it feel good. A long, heavy sled thats a ladder frame begs for a FR solid rear axle configuration.

>We're in the utter infancy of AI and it's already routinely solving problems humans failed to solve for over a decade
Lol, this was not a problem humans even attempted because this vulnerability was not a realistic risk.

I'm not at all opposed to LLMs do the typing for me but you're being a mindless hypebeast here. It found a bug in a scenario that would realistically never occur or be exploited. Is that cool? Hell yes. Is that groundbreaking? Absolutely not.

>>62095312
What? Lol. I've posted my response to the scenario. It's factual you'd need a valid ticket to exploit and no one runs internet exposed NFS servers. This is a nothingburger, call me when OpenBSD is sweating.
>>
>>62095311
It gets smarter by improvements to code that come from data sets that are refined over time along with hardware improvements yes. And just like I said AI potential is limitless and in it's infancy and already doing things humans are paid top dollar to do only faster and far more efficiently. suck it hater
>>
ceasefires don’t stop right away dummies, both sides get in a few pot shots at the end and lie saying it takes a couple of days for the news to pass. But the fire is ceased, the kikes and Zognald underestimated the Iranians and now it’s time to strike a deal. I hope you bought calls

>>62095316
ever heard what overrefinement is?
there is no intelligence in LLM's
they just are 100% deterministic and just find the output that seems correct from their training
they can't even question their own answer as they are incapable of understanding

AI can't do anything humans cant, and is inferior to anyone above 100 IQ points, but perhaps you see it smart for the very same reason kek
>>
>>62095286
The point of a draft is to enlist everyone of age, they need to know who to enlist and they're not gonna do that the day they enact the draft
>>
>>62095316
he's kind of right though. there will need to be a jump in hardware to get to something significantly better. most of the easy targets have been achieved and going smaller die size is going to have diminishing returns. /biz/ wise I would be looking into quantum and bio computing startups.
>>
>>62095316
>It gets smarter by improvements to code that come from data sets that are refined over time
lol, code is only getting worse dude.. it's just introducing noise into the training set.

>AI potential is limitless and in it's infancy and already doing things humans are paid top dollar to do only faster and far more efficiently. suck it hater
Where does this energy even come from I don't understand. It seems like it comes from a place of envy or hate. I've been using Claude and Codex max plans since they were available, so I'm an LLM maximalist but you seem mad if someone criticizes it all.

honestly where does the energy come from? madcuzbad or something?

>AI can't do anything humans cant
in addition to everything else you said, exactly. AI is great for the little guy since I can't afford head count / Indians. But it's CERTAINLY not doing anything that couldn't already be done traditionally with enough butts in seats.
>>
The only use of AI is automating research and transformer LLMs as they exist are incapable of doing so cause they can't generate new information not present in some form in their training dataset, or their output will be random and unpredictable if they stray too far from it
>>
>>62095321
>AI can't do anything humans cant
They'll integrate quantum computing into it within the next 3-10 years max. At which point it will be "thinking", in some manner, in a way that makes it entirely unlike any other thing.

now with agents and revenue thats clearly died down in public.

Yes cause it's pretty simple to do. Do you expect to develop those algorithms only after everyone's encryption gets broken? Current "AI" stems from theory developed in the 50s, theory always predates practice, sometimes by hundreds of years

SBA PRIME loans of up to 250k stage 1. stage 2 is 750k. In certain states it’s even higher. New york state they’ll give you up to $150k as an immigrant. 250k if you’re a woman owned buisness.
All exclusive to immigrant minorities, so if your white and an immigrant, or brown and native born, then no dice

All vulns are realistic in the business world. There are machines that are compromised by an intelligence agent attaching a drive to a device to exploit a vuln. Air gapped machines. Your feeling this doesn't matter to you means nothing to the business world. The world doesn't revolve around you.

Its not Pakistan, its trump
Trumps NPD and cognitive decline mean that he isn't actually deal with the real Iran that exists in the real world with the rest of us but instead a fantasy Iran that he has constructed in his head - this is the "much more reasonable regime" that he keeps talking about in his tweets
When he was handed Irans demands he immediately decided that they were untenable but instead of refusing he simply invented a new set of fantasy demands and agreed to those instead. Since the Pakistanis had no idea of this they reported to the Iranians that trump had agreed to the ceasefire proposal as is and that's where we are now.
As reality begins to conflict with the narcissistic fantasy in trumps mind he will begin feeling increasingly persecuted and betrayed (you can already see this coming through in his most recent tweets) and he will eventually lash out in anger by resuming the bombing of Iran or otherwise doing something equally stupid and destructive
