As you probably know, I repesent the Boston Brahmins and I am a space whale prospector.

This week's goal is to play the swing trade on Tesla & Palantir and sell as soon as you can afford NBA Playoff tickets.

Go long on synthetic silicon manufacturing in the United States.

Have you purchased shares in space-as-a-service, or defense contractor space infrastructure? I assure you, our orbital assets are the last safe haven from the Persian Fury!

Is there really a world destroying wolf god chained to the Moon? Let's find out! We have several associates with the Bancroft Castle, and they are just so excited to tell you what we could do with DATA CENTERS on the Moon, and how that will solve an environmentally challenging question.

Oh. Oh. May I interest you in a share for Intuitive Machines? Well it is speculative right now but space whales could be the new crypto.

A potato, 2 radishes, 3 mexican bulb onions, a can of beans, and a field mouse you can find in any grassy section of the country, will cost you $2.18. Just dump all that in a crockpot at 4 AM and you've got breakfast, lunch , and dinner that will feed you for a day. Healthy eating doesn't have to be expensive.

Can of beans - black - store brand - $0.80
3 mexican bulb onions - $0.75

With taxes that comes out to right around $2.18 depending on your state.

>Approximately 25% of the UK population, or about 16.8 million people, are disabled, according to 2023/24 data. This represents roughly one in four people, with data from the Activity Alliance and Scope UK confirming this increasing trend in disability prevalence
>The number of people reporting a disability has risen by nearly 4 million over the last decade, with 54% of all people in poverty living in a family that includes a disabled person.
I don't know anon. I think something else is going on if your country somehow ends up with a 25% disability rate.

Part of it is due to increased diagnosis but I'd say it's mostly due to the government incentivising claiming for disability by making unemployment miserable. Also threatening to cut someone off completely if they show any sign of improvement is a sure way to ensure that they never get better. Basically it's the government's fault for running a punitive system that only those who play the system can survive.

That's not how AI is being used nowadays, and you don't actually have any clue how it's used. Please work with me here -- understand that it's a monumental task for me trying to to explain how AI is you are not actually peer who knows what I'm talking about. But in essence:
neither is the case. It's not that developers are using it "as a crutch", or that "you could do good things with it, but people are doing lazy shit".

Rather it is the case that a non-strictly guided AI will quickly produce a spaghetti codebase -- not at the individual lines of code level, but at the project architecture level. So if you now tell it "implement feature A", it will do that admirably, but if you then later, much later, say, "implement feature M" or even "feature Z", it will fail because it has created an unmaintainable codebase. Being a productive developer using AI requires decomposing tasks into certain units, then you dictate to the AI what it should do, with constraints, like what does it need to follow, and so on, and then wiring them correctly together.

At least in the past as long as you had the original guys who worked on the spaghetti code you can get one in to explain how to navigate it. Maybe clean it up at a later date.

I just check the newspaper for stocks at or near ATH. If the P/E is below 15 I look at the financials online. All you need to see are earnings and cash going up and liabilities not being too much larger than assets.

If all the fundamentals look good then I check the technicals for a good entry point. Is RSI low? Are the Bollinger bands narrow? Candlesticks bullish? That's it really.

The hate on traders comes from seeing want to get rich quick as some kind of moral failing. If you try to achieve anything more than 8% a year in an index fund you must be some kind of insecure loser who is doomed to fail because just world fallacy.

>>
>>62159004
not at this rate because it doesn't make shit that works when completely left to its own devices, like the other anon said
people will always need to come in and change its diaper at the very least

i don't see LLMs advancing any further than they have, barring an actual breakthrough (none has happened in the past 8 years) in the underlying tech, which would essentially be a breakthrough in abstract math
they require huge datasets, every one of them relies on data from 30+ years of a cooperative internet, which is a miracle it happened and was recorded
there's an upper limit to the amount that hardware can make the shit better, it will ultimately be limited by the quality & organization of the data it's trained on

but yeah as it stands, there will always be demand for people to fix backlogs of AI slop as it becomes unusable over the course of months
even if this weren't the case, and you could trust AI to make some shit on its own for years on end, there would still be a demand to make handwritten software in the classical sense, designing algorithms etc, in order to create a better product than what the slopper companies are making

>>62159015
a lot of things they built DID last long, thoughie
that being said, only the best of their structures survived for centuries
the little shit mud shacks or poor quality structures wouldn't have lasted this long, so it's a survivorship bias thing

I believe it's everyone's right to be a retard. We need fewer warning labels and more freedom in the world.
Seatbelts are great but I don't want a machine screaming at me. If I want to run pfSense or OpenWRT on my network gear, it's also my right. If I want to run Linux, it's on me to make sure it's configured properly. If I want to mod my car and use open source self-driving AI models I should be able to do that as well.
Not fond of nanny tech bullshit.

Everything is going to pump. I think it might rally to 90 and dump hard, it's just slowly being sold off chunk by chunk since 122.
