BEP looking good for a long term hold, they have (much) better dividends than CCJ but not as much growth. Between them and CCJ you have a nice mix of nuclear and every form of renewable, there is a added synergy if you invest in both since combined they own Westinghouse Electric which has a shitload of holdings besides building a dozen new reactors for Cameco.

The right person will know how to hold your love.

The right person will choose you just as deeply as you choose them. You will not have to quiet the way you care, you will never feel like you are too much. You will not have to beg for the love you deserve. One day, you will be met where you are. One day, you will be someone's favorite thing, and you will not be confused

- you will not feel like you are fighting for someone who isn't fighting for you. One day, you will understand that it never mattered how tightly you held on to the wrong people, how intensely you tried, because the right people were always going to find you. The right people were always going to stay

I have 100% conviction that AI super intelligence is happening within 5 years or less.

when that happens, I wont be able to earn a wage anymore because I don't work for the government. 90% of people working for companies that dont involve skilled manual labour are getting fired. But even skilled manual labour will be going out the door in 10+ years from robotics, and these robots will be AI systems that learn. These robots will be even better than humans at dexterous tasks, like going up under a house and doing plumbing in crawl spaces, which people cant even imagine robots being able to do today.

The only people that are going to keep their jobs wil be people with enough power to pass laws blocking their jobs from being taken. And you better believe they will do it. So laws like, no AI can ever be a politician are going to happen 100%

So the only people working will be government workers, jobs through nepotism, and job types that involve a lot of power like CEOs, lawyers, bankers, doctors, and etc.

So I'm going to be out of a job. Which is why I'm betting on the AI bubble with leverage. Itsall or nothing for me. But I'm also aware theres probably going to be crashes along the way, so I have to be careful not to lose my capital. If losing my capital from a 50% draw down wasn't an issue Id go 100x leverage lol. So testing my portfolio, it survives anything better than an 80% draw down. If there's a 90% draw down RIP me.

But Im also fine with losing all my money. Yeah its my life savings, but if theres an actual crash, that means it gets discovered super intelligence isn't happening and this was all a big bubble that went nowhere. Which means I can still earn a wage and wont get replaced by AI

This is my investment thesis. I'm also positioned 75% in AI, and AI adjacent business. Im always optimising how I can concentrate that 75% more into AI. My remaining 25% is gold, crypto, managed futures, and short term tbills. So I dont lose everything in a crash.

lol

Its easy to make fun of it but it seems absurd on the face to imagine a near future where AI and robots do everything

but it's happening. And its happening right now. Not 100 or 1000 years from now. I'm betting everything I have on this happening in 10 years or less. I'm going to ride this bubble all the way up, or all the way to the bottom. And Im not going to get fearful over local maximas being hit that slow down progress and markets panick.

It's already 3x my money. But I only had 40k to start with lol, now I'm up over 150k and putting every dollar I can from my pay into it every month.

But I believe we're headed to a future where money doesn't matter. Its just the transition period in the middle, where nobody is able to work that will be the hard part.

Lithium/Uranium enthusiast guy here. I feel like i need to explain my investment strategy since it has been criticized on several occasions. I have been told many times that i could get better returns from the various tech stock or EFT of the moment. That is completely true! Here is the thing: I'm a 51 yo retired vet with three forms of fixed income who owns his own house outright in unincorporated township nowhere Maine, besides internet i'm completely off grid. My taxes are less than $300 a year.5 4-5 months the year i do a 50 mile trip on a snow machine if i want to go to the nearest town. Everything i invest is because i don't need it and it will just rot in a savings account so i have zero need to 'make it' because i already have.

I chose companies like DNN, CCJ, LAC ect because they have acceptable growth, are backed by governments and/or physical assets (huge piles of yellowcake for DNN/CCJ) and most importantly: I'm not going to lose it all gambling that Orange Man or Yellow Man will not do something stupid if i walk away from my keyboard for a hour or two. Yeah i could get at least twice the returns without much effort but i have no need to, i'm just stacking shit because i can. Every stock i've chosen i must have one overriding criteria: as an aggregate will i be OK or better off if i don't even look at my portfolio for a year? If the answer is yes then i consider it. I started a year ago, i'm up around 35% which is 15% more than i would find acceptable and i am bullish af for funny metals in the future.

And to the guy from the last /smg/: I would never touch Bayhorse, they are the junior mining stock equivalent of a shitcoin.

Thank you for listening to my TED talk and don't emulate me for short term gains, i'm jogging not sprinting.

Bloomberg:

Oil Jumps After Trump Says Iran’s Peace Offer ‘Unacceptable’

>Oil surged after US President Donald Trump rejected Iran’s latest response to his proposal to end the war in the Middle East, prolonging the effective closure of the crucial Strait of Hormuz.

>Brent crude advanced as much as 3.5% to $104.80 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate climbed to near $99. In a social media post, Trump said the response was “TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE” as the two sides struggle to maintain a fragile ceasefire following a series of flareups in hostilities.

>The near-closure of Hormuz since the start of the war at the end of February has choked off supplies of crude, natural gas and fuels to global customers, driving up energy prices and raising inflation fears. The International Energy Agency says the conflict is causing the biggest supply shock in history.

>Tehran offered to transfer some of its stockpile of highly enriched uranium to a third country, but rejected the idea of dismantling its nuclear facilities, the Wall Street Journal reported. Iran disputed the report, according to the nation’s semi-official news agency Tasnim.

>A drone strike on Sunday that briefly set a cargo vessel ablaze off Qatar in the Persian Gulf marked the latest shipping attack in the region since the ceasefire began in early April. The United Arab Emirates and Kuwait also said they had intercepted hostile drones.

CCJ and BEP together own Westinghouse Electric, BEP has a massive influence in renewable energy and Westinghouse makes powerplants in a dozen nations to use Cameco's 20 million+ lbs of uranium. *

The mere fact that Westinghouse Electric are CCJ/BEP's subcontractors should be something to think about.

*Cameco's physical refined uranium holdings are roughly equal to 13,000 atomic bombs if you need something to scale '20 million tons of yellowcake and enriched products as a reserve' to. It's about $8 billion of spicy rocks sitting in a warehouse.

If anyone wants a secret tip on how to remain calm during crashes

give yourself something to do.

Not just anything, but something that makes you see that correction as a good opportunity

You need gunpowder in your portfolio.

when theres a 10% dip, you deploy 50% of your gunpowder to buy, if theres a 30% correction, you deploy all of your gunpowder to buy

and, if you have balls of steel, start leveraging up on the way down buying everythng you can like its a fire sale.

dont go by feel. Never. No, you need a system that has protocols that you follow and your judgement is irrelevant. when theres a 30% correction, it doesnt matter what you feel, you stick to the system and spend all your gunpowder buyng everything you can

if you cant commit to it, itll work against you

when emotions are high, thats when iefficiencies in the market are greatest. If you have a system that exploits that, you pocket your cut from those inefficiencies. as long as emotions dont guide your own judgements.

You got me to do my research over this past week especially after the back and forth that we've had. I feel positive about uranium's future and about DNN as well. I am looking to make quick gains where I can but overall, I'm investing for the long term too.

I still think that the uranium sector could implode catastrophically but AI is underscoring how our demand for energy is only going to increase and I think that there will be more of a pivot towards small nuclear reactors. One bad accident though and it could be over, even if it's nowhere near the scale of Chernobyl. I think that DNN has an earnings announcement tomorrow. I don't want you to get burned but I'm kind of hoping that they drop to ~3.6 since I want to buy in there. As far as I'm concerned, any negative reaction to what's essentially capex would be retarded on the part of investors because it just means that the company is investing into their future but that would be good for me because I want to buy in now and forget it for the next few years. If they go up this week, then I'll be happy for you (and I might buy in anyway).

Is that your hantavirus gamble? Do NVAX instead.
>>
>>62214103
How would that not be bullish? If samsung goes offline the supply crunch lasts even longer and creates a power vacuum

Honestly, this is why I'm afraid to hold bags through the weekend and why I haven't done a 200-300% this month.
I'm not a bear, I'm not shorting, I'm just acutely aware of the kinds of absurdity and mania we're looking at.

isnt it interesting that cruise industry hits 52 week low from oil prices and then at the EXACT BOTTOM of 52 week low they announce hantavirus outbreak doomer shit just to try to test new lows and shake people.

I swear 99% of """news""" is just Jews shilling their pump and dump plays in the markets.

I'm laughing more at the french who (on camera) loaded their nationals onto a plane using minimum PPE (no gloves, COVID masks) when every other nation was going full decontamination and plastic wrap.
Only for one of them to immediately crash on the flight with symptoms.
