did you know you can make doughnuts at home?
>>
Did you not? Pfft fuckin dipshit
>>
>>21114546
alpha's are too young for this board.
>>
yes and inserting the frosting into the creme filled doughnuts is the funnest part if you catch my drift...
>>
Nigga, I've been eating homemade doughnuts since before you were even a tickle in your daddy's sack
>>
how do you get rid of all that oil though
>>
>>21114546
is that much oil really necessary? Couldn't you have just filled the pot halfway and achieved the same effect?

>not my problem
that looks like your house, so it will be your problem when you clog your own plumbing
>>
>>21114654
could have probably even just pan fried them in 1in of oil
>>
>>21114571
I'm not donutanon but you have to have enough oil/shortening/lard to make sure the outer circumference of the donut gets cooked right
>>
>>21114661
amerifats rent. they're too poor to own a house.
>>
>>21114727
rental properties use electric appliances. that is a gas stove.
>>
>>21114546
My donuts always turn out terrible
>>
>>21114759
same here. it's pretty tricky to keep oil at a consistent 350 degrees on the stove top.
the temperature will either creep too high and start to rancidize, tasting terrible, or the temperature will creep too low, causing the donut to soak up oil like a sponge, tasting terrible.

The only homemade """donuts""" that taste half decent is putting cake mix in a donut shaped mold and baking it in the oven.
>>
I did know that. Also those doughnuts look nice. Great job. Just a head's up though: you have too much oil in your pot. Just don't want you to burn your house down.
>>
>>21114774
Just get a mini deep fryer.
>>

lmao ah yes I forgot about the federal laws requiring all "rental properties" to only use electric appliances
it's easy to forget that most of the posters on this site are either children or neets until you see posts like this
>>
>>21114678
Fucking and?
>>
>>21114750
That's not true at all. Source: rentoid and have always had gas stoves
>>
What do you do with all the leftover oil? This is why I've never deep fried anything, I don't want to use half a gallon of oil to make a couple meals and then toss it down the trash (my landlord's kitchen drain). Can you reuse frying oil? Do I just strain it and freeze afterward?
>>
>>21114546
i really want to make sugar donuts filled with a raspberry jelly. i think there is a polish donut that i have seen images of before and it looks very tasty. so much effort though….
>>
>>21114856
you can shallow fry them
>>
>>21114856
You save it and throw it on the soldiers when the Borgias take over your city. Allegedly. Historically.
don't do this, i'm just kidding
>>
>>21114856
Yes, you can reuse frying oil. You can clarify it using the cornstarch batter trick then just strain twice, once through a sieve and again through a coffee filter. No need to freeze. We have one pan dedicated to deep frying so after straining, they oil goes right back in there with a lid.
>>
>>21114750
I rent and I have a gas stove.
you are retarded.
>>
>>21114653
if you keep frying eventually it'll be gone
>>
>>21114653
I just keep it in the pan with a cover.
I use the same oil dozens of times, who cares.
>>
>>21114973
stop trying to get people to buy into the deep fried food pyramid scheme
>>
I’d rather let others cook me doughnuts and not have to deal with a bucket of oil and a soiled kitchen
>>
>>21115091
Why would cooking doughnuts result in a soiled kitchen? Use the bathroom like a normal person.
>>

>Why would cooking doughnuts result in a soiled kitchen? Use the bathroom like a normal person.
I do not have a toilet in my house, and sometimes I don't feel like walking to the designated shitting street.
>>
>>21115123
Is that you Masaokis? I thought you died a long time ago.
>>
I just toss the oil out on the pavement. Not my problem.
>>
I like to slather myself in the used oil. Good for the skin.
>>
>>21114661
The council will come and fix it its their job.
>>
>>21114856
Just keep reusing it the food absorbs the oil you do not need to throw any away. Strain it to filter out bits.
>>
>>21115723
Ah yes, "maintenance." A series of tasks requiring labor and materials that either prevent or correct damage to property. We have dismissed this claim.
>>
>>21115022
Isn’t that how one acquires leprosy?
>>
>>21114653
i poor it down the road rain water drain accros the street at night when everyone is asleep
>>
>>21114653
If it doesn't solidify at room temperature you can just dump it. Or save it and re use it for other stuff.
>>
>>21114886
>Cornstarch batter trick
Explain
>>
>>21114546
Yeah but it’s kind of a hassle and used too much oil
>>
>>21114546
Did you frost or sugar those?
