I sometimes wonder how big the adults in this series are. They look huge but they're probably manlets for modern standards but it's hard to tell and there are rarely multiple characters shown standing side by side.

Sorry for the extra Asirpa, but I really like how the artist drew the TES characters in the bottom row and it felt wrong cropping that artwork.
For the longest time it was a mystery to me into which direction Ichikawa's hair locks were curling. The anime goes out of its way hiding the truth by drawing them as loops, but zooming into the manga panels makes it look like they were curling forward, which makes sense, since it would be shorter strands of hair that pop out after being combed back (I have an ahoge that is the same). But until recently I assumed the opposite and most artists do as well. I was all a lie.
