For me it's Ty Lee or part of the Avatar harem. Because Azula seems to have a soft spot for Ty Lee her problems come from her dad's influence and Avatar harem because she likes powerful people and no one's more powerful than the avatar.

Be smart, be athletic, be shrewd, etc. Bumi understands why she did it, but similar to his issues with his father in canon, he's always had a nagging fear that his mother resented him for not having powers. His siblings, despite themselves, actually do resent him a bit for taking up a lot of Azula's time and probably being her favorite kid. Which he likely was.2) Azula crashes out hard during a premature Red Lotus attack on Air Temple Island after more than a decade of trying her very absolute sincere best to be a pacifist matriarch. She spirals further after she recognizes the excruciating death and agony she inflicted on the anarchists, and rationalizing that Aang would never forgive her for such brutality anyway, goes on a rampage in Republic City to rid it of as many of its corrupt and criminal elements as possible before her husband inevitably catches up to her. After dozens of assassinations and a grueling duel, Aang manages to corner and defeat his berserk wife but can't bring it in him to have her arrested. With the help of Zuko, he covers up what Azula did and the Red Lotus is blamed for the murders in Republic City.3) Azula is exiled, but becomes Korra's fire bending instructor though this takes a lot of bothering on the young savior's part. After Azula teaches her everything she can (or as she frames it, everything Korra is capable of learning) it climaxes in an abrupt duel where Azula attacks her and reveals what actually happened during the Red Lotus attack on Republic City. When Korra manages to fight back "well enough", Azula surrenders, and tells Korra to leave and never come back. The former Fire Lord passes away peacefully in her sleep that night.
