I'll start off. I actually like Ultimate FF. And I prefer the dynamic to the mainline book. I recognise that the stories themselves aren't better, but I think the core setup of a bunch of young adult supergeniuses with superpowers going on weird science adventures works for me far more than the kitschy sitcom family setup of the mainline F4. Especially with things like Franklin muddying the waters. Ultimate FF made everyone an expert in some field and had this feeling of basically being a modernised Star Trek starring people with superpowers. Again, the stories themselves cannot measure up to the classic main FF runs, but as a basis, the concept itself, I vastly prefer it. There was more excitement. They were younger, hotter, cooler. I could easily buy them as celebs. They were young enough to be unpredictable, but old enough to not be annoying teen geniuses. The book was essentially a cross between Star Trek, X-Files and dunno, something like Stargate. There was a playful element to it that you just can't have when you're dealing with a middle aged family.

So yeah. I actually like Ultimate FF and think with some reworking the core concept works better than the mainline version. That's my extremely /co/ntroversial take. And Hell, I like Doom being a descendant of Dracula more than him being some random gyppo. The goat legs and mutation suck, but the backstory was a great update. I don't know, I think generally UltFF had all the right ingredients, but fucked up in the actual execution.

Plus he didn't do that on SW for lusting on Sue, it was just to stick it to Reed. He was petty af about it too since he thought Reed was dead for years by that point.

I'll do you one better. I liked Heroes Reborn F4. It was far and away the best of those books, which I admit isn't high praise, but Jim Lee was on point and it was interesting watching them try to connect so many classic F4 elements. I think it could have been very interesting had it not ended after a year and it's all the more interesting to think about in a post Ultimate Marvel world.

I greatly enjoyed HRFF as well. Them trying to tie together the Inhumans and Galactus was a neat idea. And yes, Lee was firing on all cylinders. I too wish it had continued. FF and Iron Man (plus Hulk in a sense) being connected was a great idea in my eyes. I miss the 90s/00s...

>One of the first things we all agreed on in our initial brainstorming sessions was "Namor needs to fuck Sue." We'd had, what, 40 years of Namor supposedly being a rival for her affections, but every time, she chooses Reed? What the hell is the point? No one thinks she's gonna choose Namor at this point. So we wanted to throw a wrench in there, give them something to chew on at conventions and the like. We also wanted to emphasize her age. Sue is 18. Her brain is in her crotch. Yeah, Namor's tried to rape her, yeah, he's just tried to murder her brother and her boyfriend, and yeah, he's just killed thousands. But in the back of Sue's mind, is that really important? And then he gives her the ultimatum. Of course, there's a thousand different ways she could stop the flooding that don't involve spreading her legs or letting Namor get away with it. But that's not what she wants....Narratively, the kiss is treated like sex. Reed screaming bloody murder and Johnny and Ben stuck watching. It's effectively still there, and I wrote onwards as if they'd fucked.

Fact: You can proportionate how truly popular and beloved comics are by basing it on how much people fixate on Marvel and DC
A proper "top 10 comics of all time" list should feature at least ONE cape comic

She might have been pleased (or proud, in her own bizarre way) of Monica figuring it out solo.
>>
>>152166499
>>152166553
I’m still trying to work out what she was even trying to achieve with this whole plan. Like if she was trying to frame Monica because the bodies in cans were about to be discovered due to development (which was a lot of people’s guess at the start) that stopped making sense when they were able to just go there and dig them up. Sam could have done that herself at any time and nobody would have discovered them. If it was just to get Nigel’s hidden evidence then surely Sam, as a permanent resident of Woodbrook, could easily have befriended the Koala family and found an excuse to visit them to give her an opportunity to find it herself. Did she just want to drive Monica even more crazy with all this stuff? Has she just become a sadist like Nigel?

If I had to guess she got bored after eight years and when Monica showed up decided to string her along for a while before killing her. Let her feel some hope, then crush it. Then probably rebury the paint cans later.

sam got to watch a person discover her brother's cut up body in a can, then realise she trusted said killer. if you're a serial killer that has got to be like winning the lottery.

Whatever happened to Camp Camp?
I think the last episode I remember watching was the one about someone peeing in the pool and then the reveal was that it was everyone or something like that.

I know rooster teeth... died?
Did it die?
Something like that?
Or they soft rebooted it with like a new season?

Did it ever return?
I can't find anything.

I at least liked how Nikki learned that she actually likes being a bit feminine, even if it would've been fun to see how the Flower Scouts would've reacted to that.
In my headcanon, this leads to her befriending Tabii and Erin and basically stealing them from Sasha, leaving her alone and friendless, which then leads to that one Masha storyline that Miles Luna talked about.
>>
>>152164667
It was shockingly based, wouldn't have expected something like that from them.
The extra season was worth it just for that, honestly.

I know people like to clown on Verbalase for this, but I've got to give him credit for actually spending a reasonable amount of money on his commission as opposed to saying he'd pay the animator(s) in exposure.

Who are the most beautiful women in the Marvel universe?

Sue and Ororo get mentioned a lot (Sue especially), even by cosmic beings and aliens of immense power/knowledge/judgement as being objectively the most beautiful women in existence. I think Lilandra gets the same kind of mentions.

Caveat - no cheating with magic or powers(goddesses of beauty or cosmic embodiments of the concept of beauty or beings that alter the perception of reality, ie Enchantress, Beatrice, Emma Frost) or local perceptions of beauty(Black Widow, Mary Jane Watson, Black Cat are objectively super hot by Earth standards, but never get the same mentions universal of beauty Sue and Ororo get for whatever fucking reason).

So who else in Marvel gets mentions for being most beautiful?

Well that’s the point of this thread, anon. To figure out which Marvel girl checks the most boxes across their reality, whether it’s flesh arrangement or energy field manipulation as the standard.

The point in that Ororo and Sue check the most boxes across the board. Your Mystique opinion is noted, but even by regular human standards, she’s cheating.

I dunno how hot normal form Raven Darkholme is, but she never stays in it long enough for a big enough sample size to comment on her.

You said perception of beauty, so that could apply to casting an illusion or the use of pheromones/mind control, but Mystique's shape-shifting is neither of those. It counts because real people get cosmetic surgery all the time and for Mystique it's an inborn ability she has.
