I'm reading this rn and in the first chapter, it's implied she raped a black guy, and in the second chapter there's a scene where the Mongolian Wonder Woman offers her son to be executed by her tribe but then her tribe insteads decides they want the entire tribe to fuck her son. She flips out and decides that's a fate worse than death for some reason. This is the most fembrained writing I've ever seen.

I can't wait until society stops bending the knee to the rainbow mafia and we get a more-realistic storyline, like either a gay male or woman-wannabe troon villain who wants the hero to fuck them keeps stalking them, threatening their wife/girlfriend/any woman they think might be getting in their way, causing dangerous incidents that endanger normals to get the hero's attention, and even attacking them directly in the quest for dat dick. Or validation.

Read Irredeemable. One of the main villains is literally a gay man who bodysnatches women the ex-hero is attracted to.

None? The X-Men movies barely function with each other continuity wise after DOFP. As far as I know none of the shows fit in with the movies.

There were Shadow comics before this movie, but technically, he was created in pulp fiction, not comics, although presumably they were illustrated.
also, Raimi was probably given Spider-Man due to the success of Darkman, which initially was supposed to be his Shadow adaptation
>After Raimi's initial desire to adapt The Shadow was turned down by Universal Studios, Raimi instead chose to create an original superhero based on a short story he wrote that paid homage to Universal's horror films of the 1930s.

>Cow and Chicken had a lot of gross-out humor, had innuendos, and had a devil character who walked around on his butt

>In Ed, Edd n Eddy, the main characters were con artists, and thus the show glorified scamming

>Courage was scary

>KND portrayed adults as evil and taught kids to disrespect adults

>Billy & Mandy featured the Grim Reaper, had lots of dark humor, and its female lead was a sociopath

>Flapjack was creepy and unsettling, and Captain K'nuckles was a terrible role model

>Regular Show glorified slackerdom, and had innuendos

How did CN's shows not cause controversy? Shows like Ren & Stimpy and Invader Zim caused controversy, but not CN's shows.

>In Ed, Edd n Eddy, the main characters were con artists, and thus the show glorified scamming
It didn't portray what they were doing as right though, in fact Double D and Ed have multiple moments where they're conflicted about doing a scam. The Ed's also end up getting their asses kicked by the kids or will of God shit at the end of every episode they pull a scam in too. They're anti-heros at best and honestly portrayed more as lovable villains, you only really root for them because life throws them so much shit

It's almost like to some people "the Devil" isn't just some D&D monster or mythological creature but the avatar of all evil and that by having him there you are symbolically inserting evil there as well.
Not saying they were justified, just saying they don't see it as just another random monster.

S&P’s job changed from responsibly preventing lawsuits to ending all slightly uncomfortable phone calls so the new generation bosses wouldn’t feel responsible for anything, which is impossible, creating infinite censorship creep. We used to know that the parents who were mental enough to call and write in were not representative of general audiences. Now fifty thousand of the most miserable people on earth can google your job and DM you directly about it, your rivals can fund fake suburban mom mailer groups, and the guys at the golf course associate your company with whatever went viral about it.

Ok, I'll try to do it all on one go

“Gloriously unruly...an incisive look at an artist who never recovered from the success of his youth.” —Publishers WeeklyFrom graphic novelist Youssef Daoudi comes a radically new look at the director of Citizen Kane and Touch of Evil: legendary filmmaker Orson Welles.Long after his death in 1985, the shadow of Orson Welles still looms over Hollywood. By twenty-three, Welles had revolutionized theatre and radio with The War of the Worlds; by twenty-five, he had secured his place in history with his debut film, Citizen Kane. Yet four films and less than a decade later, his career suffered a spectacular collapse, and Welles, once the most promising director in America, was written off as a “would-be genius”—a bad bet in an increasingly money-conscious industry. In The Giant, Youssef Daoudi weaves together reality and mythology to create a radical new look at one of Hollywood’s most legendary figures and poses a question as timeless as Orson Welles himself: What happens when a true artist comes up against the rest of the world?

It depends. On a computer, there are 3 parts, and each sometimes includes 3 slides or 5 slides.
That one with the stars takes the longest.
On a phone, there only 2 parts, 3 slides each, no stars.
>>152086628
It's an exaggeration. The new one definitely takes longer on the computer.

>The new one definitely takes longer on the computer
I'm on PC and I find it's about the same for me, it's just
>click, hold and drag, click, click
instead of
>click, read, type, click
but I wasn't aware some people got different or multiple captchas. All I ever got was type the letters/numbers and even then (and still) 2/3 of the time it's not required. I guess I'm lucky and mods trust my IP.

There are three "tribes" of mutants shown in the comics between South America, Japan, and Russia, and none of them seem to have deliberating existence. Problems they encounter are from being weaponized or social media.

Writer is stupid, that's not how pain works.

When you expose the nervous system to an extreme amount of pain or trauma it will shut off receptors until you become numb to that pain response. It's why some people can live their life with such intense pain related illnesses and why people get used to mundane aches or pains when they are forced to put up with it instead of seeking a relief, it just becomes sensory whitenoise. Part of the reason why torture is so ineffective isn't because of inmate bargaining through lies to stop the pain, they will eventually with enough sustained torture stop feeling the pain entirely. That is also why you have "enhanced interrogation" where mental torture is emphasized over physical pain response, but even then, subjects will just start to disassociate or fall into psychosis. This bare nerve girl would have reached a point by now where her sensory tissue is so desensitized to pain that she would be perfect for combat as she would likely not respond to bullet wounds beyond intial shock if the bullets don't take out a vital organ or trigger bleed out. Plant that fucker in a trench and give it a designated LMG if it still has enough tissue to control the recoil for surpressive fire.

They are victims, just poor victims.

The x men are on a certain way a cosmic joke, they could be helped but refuse it out of some misplaced sense of pride.

The stupidity of the writers to equate mutation to some sort of racial or sexual identity has been a fucking disaster after most writers lost their marbles.

Rather than dogmatically embracing a singular aspect of the Force and conforming solely to the prescribed notion of dichotomy representing a singular view of either light or dark, such as that espoused by the Jedi and Sith we should instead forge our own path
