Any thoughts on Disney's Aristocats? This is such a boring film.

Just some light practice

>>151926476sure, even though you’re not batguy
>>151924139Blame Nocenti for that. She created Mojo and Longshot but opted to warehouse the characters under Claremont's eye because she edited X-Men and felt making them X-Men characters would keep them in the public eye and keep them popular and ensure she'd be able to get to do further minis with Longshot

For years cartoons have had these cynical dynamics where the parents/married characters hate each other or constantly cause conflict for the other so I like the flood of cartoons now having the married couple supporting each other more.
>>151925516It's accurate to real life not to be happy. :(
Just write Hal and Lois. They managed to embody the spirit of 'goofball husband/girlboss wife' without most of the shortcomings simply because they're actually written as being in love.
>>151930093AND there's still tons of conflict, that entire household is a portal to Hell. You can have a dysfunctional family that doesn't hate each other.
>>151927076Constantly in conflict != we hate each other. Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie had this figured out decades ago.
>>151930093Their whole relationship was one of the highlights of the series for me. At the time their dynamic felt really unique compared to the usual husband-wife relationship in most shows. Even today I can't say there are many couples from shows that had that same kind of energy.

People will look you dead in the eyes and tell you season 4 is part of "golden age" Spongebob.
S4 has a handful of good episodes though you just have to sift through trash for it
It's the height of cringe that people act like "classic" spongebob was any less brainrot than "modern" spongebobNo dumbass, you were just a stupid kid back then and now you're a less stupid adult.
>>151929431You can just say you don't like the show, anonNo need to spout blatantly false statements like that
>>151929431S4 is almost never considered to be classic Spongebob though, in fact you're more likely to encounter a sperg who will remind you that actually x episode isn't from the first three seasons and they'll even throw a melty over it if you reference it/talk about it in a meme
Fear of a Krabby Patty carries Season 4 hard.
What made the British Invasion so special? Who was the best writer to emerge from it?
>>151914620My favorite is Moore, but in hindsight things have become so corporate, so post irony, so shallow virtue signal, so hollow of creativity outside of recycling what worked or recent trends or whatever the fuck passes for inspiration in the IP machine's inner cogs that I honestly savor all their work now, even the weird for the sake of weird or edgy stuff because it at least came from a place of personal giveafuck on some level, I can't detect that anymore outside of the cold psychopathic spite from things like the sadism Spider-Man's been subjected to from writers and editors projecting on the title.Example, Ellis was mostly freeballing throughout Nextwave, but it was still entertaining, still engaging. Now look at the tepid efforts since to reheat Nextwave elements and you can see how even at their most lax jog the foreigners ran laps around the locals. Which to be clear is not an opinion I'm glad for, it's vexing because there's no reason for things to be this way. It's like if every current Mangaka suddenly forgot how to scrawl so much as a decent shonen story and South Americans had to come in to revive a sense of passion, and when they part ways the IP owners learn nothing because movies and toys prop up sales enough that they can just ignore ratings.

>>151928093lol, no. how is that tiny bee supposed to fuck a human woman? do bees even have dicks in the first place?
>>151929034They buzz on the clit
>>151929034>do bees even have dicks in the first place? They do, actually. When virgin queen bees leave the hive to start hives of their own, they track down male bees (called drones) for what essentially amounts to as extreme a bukkake session as they can manage (queen bees store male sperm so they can fertilize as many eggs as they can - unfertilized eggs become male bees) and after the drones breed with the queen they die. Fun fact, drones don't have stingers - that's where their endophallus is, and more often than not the act of breeding ends up causing the endophallus to tear off, taking most of the drones innards with it.

>>151928589>t. Jarjar fan
>>151926457There's a balance to this stuff. On one hand, you're right that expecting 100% perfect logical reasoning from a fictional story is unreasonable. On the other hand, if you play too lose with it then the story feels unnatural. The characters stop feeling like they could be actual people and start feeling like pawns for the writer to get to the scenes they want. The prequels very much fell into this trap - the characters seem to lack agency because of the necessities of the plot
>>151923249>he could've at least talked to Obi WanObi-Wan at the very least heavily suspected that something was going on between Anakin and Padme, so he probably would have been more receptive to helping Anakin with it. The problem was that Anakin was so convinced of his isolation from the rest of the Jedi (partially thanks to Sheev's manipulation) that he didn't even think he could trust Obi-Wan.
What's is your honest opinion on the Eight and Final Season of Regular Show? Like the whole park crew (Plus Ellie) being send off to space I like most didn't mind at first, until the remaining half of the season became a Universal Survival Arc and it was revealed that Pops was a God who is prophesize to fight his cliche evil twin brother (who spend half of the arc doing nothing but giving negative reviews to restaurants) to prevent the destruction of the universe which only resulted in the universe being reset every time. I think when all of that happened is when the show felt off for some people. Also what was the point of Ellie joining the cast again? She didn't do anything of much important during the season she was just there.
>>151927209Eileen. Blame autocorrect.
>>151926643The show could've ended with Exit 9B and I'd be happy.I have mixed feelings on season 8's concept as a whole but the finale does make it worth it.
>>151926643I managed to get this poster off Ebay back then, and signed by the crew who attended the con. Great graphic design style and shows off the cool park ship really well.I was really into RS as it was running and one of the few people on the board giving any effort to discuss it. Despite that I'm still mixed on S8. The writing felt off sometimes, there were times the humor felt forced or bad. Not just that, Bro Bots having Mordo/Rigs try to tell everyone else about them only to get "why are you being so mean to them? we don't trust you, leave" after 7 seasons was terrible. Fries Night and Can You Ear Me Now are a couple episodes I don't think I'll ever rewatch, couldn't stand Eileen screeching Rigby's catchphrase louder than he ever has, condeming him in court.I thought the space park ranger concept was cool, I liked episodes that actually explored the concept a bit, like Space Creds or Brain of Evil showing off a bit more of the station and the people in it. Alpha Dome was somewhat cool, again the writing was so-so. Space Race was top tier inspired fun, clearly lots of work put into it and even another wild death (guy freezing in space, dead eyes, and shattering.) I always enjoyed the action in RS so I liked Space Escape too.I always felt like the last season being one big expanded adventure was cool, but also that it robbed us of a final season of the characters naturally progressing and moving on in life like was teased up to the end of S7. Stuck in an Elevator with Mordo venting about what they were dealing with was a glimpse into characterization we were missing. That said I was also disappointed the Spark stuff set up went nowhere, I wanted more about them being dangerous and manipulative. There was also a planned Benson/Gene ep they didn't make. Pops having a real sacrifice at the end and being up in heaven with "jolly good show" was the emotional punch they needed. The meta stuff was fun even if "regular" compared to Gumball.
>>151926643Much like Adventure Time, I dropped it sometime in the 5th season so I have no opinion one way or another.

What would the name of his race be? They seem to be beings made of plasma, born on the surface of stars.I think his three generals should be more fanatically devoted to him. Interpreting his every whim as if it were an order much to his exhaustion.
