I would probably have tried a Victorian voice next. 20th century idiom didn't seem appropriate for the setting. The translator usually can take their cues from the art, the text, or the tradition (epic Norse tale). I was reading the French version, but I had no confidence that the French was an appropriate translation from the original Swedish. I don't know a bit of Swedish. This comic is available in a bunch of languages, even Portuguese, but not English. You have to wonder who owns the English rights. Are they sitting on the English version? If they are they deserve to have a fan version come out first and teach them a lesson about corporate greed.

I loved this show, it was everything i needed out of a after school/Saturday morning cartoon. There was something enjoyable with every season( I will admit season 3 onward was going down hill) What I think they should have done was have more stand alone episodes like the magic cat statue one or the jade tournament, really play into the Indiana Jones aspect of this jackie chan dealing with other mystical items of antiquity. Id kill for an episode with ancient astronauts or the The Nazca lines
