>>152194583>>152194929It really comes down to this. I hate to admit since I do like Tangled's soundtrack but it doesn't really have any strong standouts among them the way Frozen's "Let it Go" does. That being said when it comes to how each movie's music serves their stories and characters, Tangled absolutely smokes Frozen. There's not a single song in Tangled that isn't advancing or establishing the characters, themes or plot in someway whereas in Frozen I'd say most of the songs are just there to waste time and fill album slots. And it's not enough that the music in Frozen serves no purpose some of it is just straight up bad like Olaf's or the Trolls' numbers. But when it comes to topping charts all you need is a single hit to make your mark in most peoples minds and unfortunately there just aren't many strong candidates Tangled has on offer. Weirdly enough the songs I usually come back to with Tangled are the two non-standard numbers that being the Kingdom Dance and the credits roll

Transformers, Go-Bots, Rescue Bots, etc. Transforming robots thread. If you wanted to introduce a friend to one of these franchises, which cartoon show or comic would you recommend? For me, it's still the G1 show, although I would consider the new Skybound 2023 comics under Dean Warren Johnson for someone more into modern "hardcore" grimdeath. And honestly I would love to recommend Beast Wars but the animation just does not hold up to modern standards and would be a turn-off for most new viewers.

>>152185500Lots of ways, firstly find new distributors. Do what the Archie comics do and just have little compilation books at every grocery checkout line. Stop charging 6$ for a single issue comic. Combine all related series into a big thick book for about 20$, have the readers vote on what they like. Actually have content in your comics... I stopped reading because it would take about six issues just to get a complete story, that's half a year. Have a decent online library of comics that can be accessed for a cheap subscription fee.

Even if you have to use somewhat higher quality paper for the colors, there should be some way they can fit it in a child's allowance.
While I agree ideally it would be better to make it cheaper, there's not audience for comics especially among kids. Artists/authors/etc. get paid shit as it is. I had also completely forgotten American comics haven't been about telling stories since the 80s. The 90s comic boom started the trend of making alt art issues hoping that people would buy multiple prints of issues. It's a dumb practice that needs to die.
