>>151900225They dropped the whole format when they decided that the main Disney channel would be primarily a girls channel and Toon Disney would be reformatted into the boys channel and grabbed up a lot of old cancelled 90s cartoons. They never really had much of a standard format ever since. I do miss how they used to play the main Disney animated movies every afternoon.

Given the age of this show now, how were you first aware of it (if at all?) I'm old enough to have watched it in syndication, and this was after having watched the 90s show when I was very young, so I was a huge fan of both.Do you think it holds up?

I've been trying to think of other comics like Funky. not necessarily "silly comic that turned serious", but rather "serious story in strip format". I guess Dick Tracy is one of them, and another that comes to mind is a 4-koma, Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro. also I quite a few webcomics would fit into the mold, but they don't really succeed.
