>LAST WEEK IN CAROLMarvel Winter Break Special #1Will of Doom #1Last week's thread: >>151840305
>>151937067It's great, as long as you're fine with the occasional crossover.
why is bishop there?
>>151938108his episode is one of the best ones from the classic, zoomie
>>151938573I was alive when it aired, nobody remembers it, nobody cared about bishop, most people think his power is "gun"
>>151938108Quotas but he was around on that time.
>>151938108why is Beast there
>>151939208He's a popular X-Man who was on the team for the original show. Bishop is a one or two episode side character. Might as well have Puck on the team.
Imagine how shitty life is for this version of the Rescue Rangers given that they're the only intelligent animals their size
>>151936506>nothing else, especially with the kids, was funny to meI wanted to say nothing else was funny to me. Only Glomgold was funny to me.
>>151936512Okay, I respect your opinion. I don't like both (Nu-Tales and the RR movie) and what Disney is currently doing (promoting AI animation instead of human animation).
>>151917325Hes never coming back
>>151918388>I think the original idea was that the Rangers would routinely pop up in the series but execs didn't want that because of the movie. Brand confusion nonsense apparently.Funny beacuse there's a proper Rescue Rangers reboot that started development recently at DTVA due the movie being a hit.>>151922445>Season 3 of this show did not want to do anything but make references to Disney Afternoon stuff. The DuckTales artbook revealed that their plan was make a modern incarnation of The Disney Afternoon with those references as backdoor pilots but Disney didn't liked the idea and prefer to give Darkwing Duck and TaleSpin to Rogen and friends and Gargoyles to the Anabelle guys with a live-action series to compete with ATLA at Netflix.
>>151922693I would totally fuck her up the ass
>Already released>Not actual discussion within the cartoon youtubers and twitterWhat happen? i thought people liked Sugar, Ward, McHale and Jones-Quartey
>>151935828Yes, he's a big, fat pushover, literally.
>>151932189>Most people here recognize them for being (at least partially) responsible for the prevalence of the worst trends in the animation industry from the 10s on.I always thought it was pretty stupid that people who did something first got blamed for people copying them. Shouldn't the ones making the inferior copies hoping to get a quick buck be blamed?
>>151937448People hate anyone inspired by them too yes.
>>151933396He wants to do a puppet/live action hybrid film but likely studios think it would be expensive as shit which is weird beacuse he could team up with Jim Henson's Creature Workshop or The Muppets Studio to make it.If Netflix dosn't want it despite wasting 300M on The Electric State.then i doubt they want to invest on that project.
i don't think i could in good conscience trust the opinions of absolutely anyone ever again, if they think this was anything but utter dogshit.
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.
>>151938495you seem to forget the whole 'patty cake' thing.
>>151936411These "sentence name" jokes should not be funny to me. But they are. Damn near every time. Maybe it's the idea of every character constantly introducing themselves unprompted.
>>151938615She was blackmailed into that by Maroon, who threatened to ruin Roger's film career if she didn't, because he wanted leverage on Acme to push him to sell his company.
>>151938702ah yes, i forgot that.
>>151929683>jessicafags can't cope with her losing r4 every year so they have to leech off other tourneys and make sure she also loses r4 in those
Scooby Doo is a long franchise created by Hanna-Barbera in the 1960's, and it’s wild to think how many different forms it’s taken over the decades. From the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! with its classic monster-of-the-week formula, to the more comedic takes like A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, and even the darker, more serialized Mystery Incorporated, the gang has been reimagined countless times. We’ve had direct-to-video movies like Zombie Island and Witch’s Ghost that pushed the franchise into more supernatural territory, live-action adaptations in the early 2000s, and even crossover specials with Batman, WWE, and more. Each era has its own flavor, whether it’s campy, spooky, or tongue-in-cheek.So, /co/, what’s your favorite Scooby-Doo movie and which show do you think nailed the formula best?Scooby-Dooby-Doo!
I always liked the way they ran away
I have an issue whenever they make Fred taller than Shaggy in some content. It's not right, if Shaggy's not the tallest, then he's just...some skinny guy. >>151937486>what’s your favorite Scooby-Doo movieCyber Chase. The trapped in a game concept was always really appealing to me as a kid when I first got into the franchise.>which show do you think nailed the formula bestWhere are You and What's New are considered the standard, but I thought Be Cool did a good job of using the same formula while enhancing the comedy.
>>151937486I always liked What's New Scooby-Doo. It was a pretty solid take on the original formula while also adding some of its own little unique jokes. Like the group shakeup jokes with Shaggy and Fred splitting up together and not having anything in common or Velma taking off with Scooby and having a great time goofing off and not caring. Musical segments were fun as I recall as well. I liked that it also kept the idea that maybe there was supernatural stuff out there. Hinting at an outwardly confirming it sometimes.
>>151937486>Favorite Scooby-Doo MovieThat's a good question. I could go on about Scooby-Doo movies. I really like Camp Scare and Witches Ghost. I think they both do a really good job walking the line between the standard formula and mixing things up. They also have really visual interesting monsters that properly utilized and they introduce new fans favorite characters. That being said the're so many fun and underrated movies it's hard to pick just one.>The Scooby-Doo FormulaThe orginal show, it created it. But the Scooby-Doo Show deserves a lot of credit for showing you can continue doing it with out the need for celebrity guests. What do you like OP?
Less gay stuffMore jester scitzo posting
>>151939006>>151939014I think he means not to the degree of the shows you listedit’s definitely woke, but the fantasy action and adventure elements are actually good. it really only reveals it’s wokeness when it comes to relationships, with nearly everybody being gay.
>>151936445I do like the early scene where Nott is initially hostile towards Jester, and Jester quickly melts her defences and awakens her maternal instincts by being overly nice and optimistic towards her
>>151939100But if you don't take a shower, no lesbian sex for you!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6Tvi1oJZWA
>>151939131BTW, the thing about taking someone else's glass and drinking it is apparently a way to announce you're into the gender drinking it.I've seen that before ( 1:15)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVATV8sMi_M
>>151939109They're a lot of fun.

Spiderman is FUCKED
>>151936620If Paul was in Ultimate Marvel his trillions and trillions of fans around the world would have bought every issue.
>>151938074You are living in a dream world...They are not nuking Ult Peter and MJ. Peter will be the one who beats Maker flawless victory after Tony and Ult Doom get killed off and the line will end with Peter going back into retirement to be a dad and husband but leaving open the door for Marvel to resurrect at the very least, Ultimate Spiderman, presumably with Bendis writing it, in six to ten months since no fucking way will they let that title go away.Everyone else will get a happy ending (the good guys) or die violently (the Maker's council) that will allow them to bring back the line. They might even do a partial cosmic reset ending to bring dead characters like Clint Barton, USAgent, Nightcrawler, Power Pack, etc back to hammer home Maker losing everything. But all the toys will be left usable for later writers down the line.Like I said; fully expect Ultimate Spidey and Ultimate X-Men (rebranded to something different, Peach be damned) to be back within a year and for Ultimate Endgame to have a end of series teaser for a revival via Sunspot, Magic, and the chick who killed Hawkeye forming a new council and hooking up with Thanos.
>>151928025>nuHawkeye comes overBeing a Hawkeye fan gets harder and harder
>>151938551>Trillions.There aren't even that many people on the planet let alone PaulFAGS.
>>151938074Ultimate Pym is gonna kill himself, isn't he...
>still no Gwen spin-off
>>151936714She needs to go back
>>151936755She needs to go forward. Omniverse Gwendolyn is kino.
She deserved better
Omniverse was good because it went back some. Gwen's ultimate Alien episode proved that she sucks when they don't.
>>151936763No
Is it the voice? I think it’s the voice
>>151938780>You think a vigilante theme romance novel would work?Isn't that just Dexter?
>>151938780Or maybe an assassin type theme?
>>151938803I’ve never seen Dexter. Isn’t that the one with the black guy that says, “Surprise, mutha fucka.”
>>151938840Okay, I just looked it up. Wrapping a guy in plastic like a sandwich isn’t quite as exiting as flat out gun battles.
>>151938780Look at how popular Jason Todd is with women.Ironically Harley is a perfect rep for bad girl fantasies. In the context of real life, she'd be a nightmare to date. In the context of her comics, there's a fantasy to it all. She's kinky, she's whimsical, and above all, she's an adventure. Even if she's the action woman, you get your share of adventure, you banter with her, time and time again proving yourself by surviving the insanity. You can imagine that situation where by some chance, you get to punch the fucking Joker. Hell, even in the "polygamy" narrative, even if you count out a threesome. That is a chance to talk to and hang with Poison fucking Ivy and live to tell the tale. It's that general vibe of a girl who both breaks the monotony of life and whose very existence is a chance to prove your masculinity. That's sorta what I've been saying through the thread. The bad boy vs bad girl fantasies are inverses of each other but both function in the validation of the masculinity/femininity of the self-inserting reader:
Good morning, grandpa. It's that liminal period between Christmas and New Years when no one wants to do anything, yet somehow, the paper still gets delivered. Enjoy the comics.
>>151934416Beetlemoses and Rosebuds. Signs indicate Wannabe is on the verge of it.
>>151938444Was Beetlemoses in newspapers? I thought it was just a Gocomics situation where they had posted the comic on their website. Fuck Wannabe, though.
>>151938444Breaking Cat News is one of the most obvious ones to me. It still feels like a webcomic, and it's actually a daily.
>>151934416>>151938444Breaking Cat News too.
>>151939022>>151939024Wallace the Brave, too, surprisingly enough.

>>151938240Yes, attract the attention of criminals to their comeuppance!
>>151938288Yeah, anon. That's the one I got recommended first.>ReadComicOnlineI prefer to use a tablet and grab them off someplace, at least. An Omnibus etc is always number 1 for me, but a tablet is pretty nice too
>>151937812Welcome!
>>151938882it's the easiest way for me. where I live comics are expensive, if not unreachable.
>>151938927That's fair, what matters is that you read it and enjoy yourself, not how you read it. Would recommend trying out a tablet at least once though, the tapping to turn pages is a zen to itself.
Any thoughts on Disney's Aristocats? This is such a boring film.
>>151915430The Aristocats is definitely the weakest WDAS film from that era. Just kinda boring, not remarkable in any way.
>>151936139why did they detail her back like that?
>>151937048Probably referenced an actual human woman dancing.
>>151916775Bruh he was set for life all he needed to do was take care the cats for 10 or so years and he would've been left with the whole estate.
>>151922004He literally just has to feed the cats and clean/change their litter and pocket all the money for himself. He was a retard.
