I mean, if anything, people who watched TADC when it came out and enjoyed it were much more likely to be suggested by the algorithm this compilation 2 weeks later and click on it.But still, yeah, hopping to reach1 million view was an insane goal to set, especially when you look at the numbers of the individual episodes.. Boomers who can remember the '50s are in their late 70s now and probably not a big market for comics, certainly not an expanding one. '50s nostalgia mostly appeals these days to reactionaries who are more interested in a return to segregation and women getting back in the kitchen, not Archie's wholesomeness. Probably the only way to return Archie to tradition would be to reset it in the pre-9/11 '90s and appeal to millennial nostalgia instead.
