Compare him with most, say, isekai anime protagonists and he's vastly more clever, despite his plans not always working out they're still pretty good plans, at least I couldn't come up with them, whereas with isekai I often think 'I could do that' (which is the point imo). With Lincoln I think more like...this is a guy where I can accept moral instruction from his example. I respect him.Which is not to say I don't fucking love power fantasies, romance fantasies and self-inserting. Just not really in this show. In this show I really, really like the boy on his own merits. That's why I was never really into the old 'anon gets into a relationship with x sister' greens either. I want to read about Lincoln even more than I want it to be a clear and obvious self-insert of me in the TLH world. Can't really say how it is for others.

Although apparently supermarkets in Slovakia - as well as Czechia and Poland - stopped selling live carps last year.That's because Carp is the main dish during the Christmas Eve (called "Stedry Vecer" or "Generous Night") feast - since it's technically still Advent, a time of anticipation and contemplation, even the feast has an aspect of fasting, which means no meat (some people will also straight up not eat anything before the evening feast).
