It is now a legacy IP whose relevance will continue to decline hard until it is like Hanna-Barbera characters who followed the same trend as it. As Gen Z grows away from it everyone else will know it exists but that is the extent of knowledge they have for the IP. That is its legacy, a flash in the pan.
