>>151871360>It’s weird how it’s almost always quasi incestuous family dynamic too.If you consider why these "people" are fond of incest itself, a lot of things make sense. Pic related is one explaining.
>>151872347The onus is on you to at least give anons something to believe that. Give something specific you like about it.
>>151875473I thought they were exaggerating when people said they couldn't differentiate between love and lust.
Have you watched kino yet?
Jeremie's feels there's too much IP/franchise/old stuff, and that new stories and characters needed. From The BEAM Podcast How has Sci-Fi Changed with JEREMIE PERIN
>>151872109He's 100% right, too many movies and video games trying to reboots and remakes instead of establishing something new and the well is running dry
I liked it quite a bit, It in part with some other media has gotten me to start learning French for fun. Inject cyberpunk animations into my veins.
>>151873832Do different cultures really have different views on cyberpunk? Would learning French instantly make me consider robot prostitutes a focal point of my worldbuilding?
chez suzy teaser was a 2004 pilot for a long form film, by Jeremie Perin. I can't find any news beyond that.
Comfy snowy and Christmasy.

>>151873699Agreed, Queen for a Day remains far and above one of the best episodes I've ever seen.
>>151873699I love her smug!
I miss Elf Number 0 from Spongebob.....She was the only thing that gave meaning to these lonely cold winters and made me feel something..
>>151875161You mentioned the chimps being the size of Sandy but not Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy who were too?

>>151874077To illustrate his physical superiority over Rigby, who in turn is completely flat. He has the means to penetrate an actual vagina, which Rigby can not. He has the means to deliver a load of potent semen straight into a woman's womb, which Rigby have not.The resolution of that episode was not really a resolution, was it now? Don declaring some sentimental, misguided admiration for Rigby doesn't change the fact that Rigby within Don's vicinity is made underdeveloped, lesser, redundant. His whole person turned into an undesirable, superfluous blight. The more Rigby tries to fight it, the more apparent his inferiority becomes. The more apparent the squirming insect which he is.Realistically, his only defense is to run. His only defense is to hide. This is the right choice. Don invading Rigby's social circle ought to have ended with Rigby taking his own life and the world celebrating its own betterment.Instead we got a cop-out.
>>151874077To show he's the "big" brother of the two.
>>151874784Forgot, the worst part - Don would remain morally impervious throughout the whole ordeal. It's by being faultless, the best person he possibly could be, that he would cause Rigby to destroy himself. Honestly the more I consider Don, he gotta be the scariest /co/ character of all. When he shows up, there is no cope, there is no excuse. You are defenseless as to your own redundancy, because he's you - except better in every way. He is straight out of a Kafka novel.
Why don't writers know what to even do with her anymore? For quite some years she's basically just been 'woman' and portrayed as being over her head with everything going on.
>>151875030To add to this, The Shadow was Batman's primary inspiration, The Shadow had agents but he didn't have 20 mini Shadows running around doing exactly what he does
>>151875132I don't think Selina is a bad character, I think committing to the romance too much is the problem. I think Bruce/Selina should be like the relationship Colin Farrell/Gong Li had in the Miami Vice 2006 movie where the two have a strong romantic chemistry but they can't actually go through with it because they're on opposite sides of the law (but nothing like an engagement getting called off or something silly like what King did). It's tragic, a doomed romance. It's a lonely path but it's the path Batman chose by being in his line of work with his moral code.
>>151875213To elaborate Bruce and Selina can get CLOSE, they can maybe even fuck, but they could never actually be together as a unit because of the conflict of interest
>>151875300I think at some point Bruce needs another love interest, but who would even work? Status quo would probably have them betray him or die
>>151875300King is a bad Batman writer, he annoys me the way Fraction does, they both have a horrible knack for wasting potential and executing ideas in the worst ways possible
Would Beast Boy and Raven have made a good couple?
>>151870792Even more surprising that Asian super heroes are largely absent in Teen Titans 2003 despite how hard it's influenced by Japan
>>151873336The cringeworthy Trouble in Tokyo movie makes up for it though

I was told Lewis Carroll was also a pedophile. Dunno if that's true or not.
>>151875207Yes, it's very likely that he was the creepy uncle to the Lidell girls. Notably, Alice is based on the younger girl. Pretty sure they found some pictures in his collection, never bothered to verify what I read because I believe if anybody can tell a lie about you being a pedo that sounds reasonable enough, you probably deserve the death penalty.
>>151875207"I confess I do not admire naked boys. They always seem to me to need clothes, whereas one hardly sees why the lovely forms of girls should ever be covered up." - Lewiss Carroll
Post about dead webcomics in this thread. This thread is only for DEAD and ABANDONED webcomics. Situations like:>Creator died>Creator said they quit the story>creator in prison>creator disappeared or The website just died without explanationUnless its been on hold for something like 5+ years, comics on hiatus do not fit here.
>>151873600I think most of the pages are on archive.org. The URL was seed.thecomicseries.com.

Let us have a lost /co/ media thread. I'll start.>Recently launched entertainment finance, development and production outfit Cirrina Studios has announced its first animated feature project: The Extincts. Based on the popular middle-grade novel by British writer Veronica Cossanteli, the project is adapted by president of the studio David Lipman (producer, Shrek 2) and being directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker and celebrated author-illustrator William Joyce.>Aiming for a 2019 release, The Extincts will begin pre-production in June, and will be the first Cirrina feature to kick off at Olivier Pinol’s Dwarf Animation Studio in Montpellier, France. The film will be produced by Lipman and Michael Siegel (exec. producer of The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Rise of the Guardians). Jane Startz and Barry Cunningham will executive producer with Jim Pesoli and Karine Martine of Cirinna Studios.>“Feature animation is one of the cornerstones of Cirrina Studios’ broad ambitions,” said Lipman. “I’m thrilled to partner with Olivier and Dwarf, we’ve assembled an unbelievably talented group of artists and technicians to make a ‘studio quality’ film with a unique look and global appeal.”>The Extincts follows the madcap adventures of a boy named George Drake, who discovers a hidden cache of extinct and mythological creatures deep in the woods near the farm where he works. Unfortunately, one of these improbably beasts escapes to terrorize the town. Cossanteli’s novel is published in the UK by Chicken House/Scholastic, in the US by Henry Holt, and worldwide in translation.https://web.archive.org/web/20250519170207/https://www.animationmagazine.net/2017/05/cirrina-studios-unearths-first-feature-the-extincts/
