I know the peanuts writers based this character on his wife, but I legit thought she hated Charlie brown, also wasnt she deeply in love with Schroeder?

Zoomers looking at this show's ships and talking about them being "problematic" hurts my soul. What a boring, puritanical, in-need-of-grass-touching generation we've allowed to arise.

Are the scooby-doo movies that aren't part of the Zombie Island, Cyber Chase and Aliens even worth a rewatch? Like Reluctant werewolf played on Teletoon every year, multiple times, when I was a kid... but I'm not sure if it would even be entertaining now. Same for Ghoul school I guess. /co/ seems t ohave fond memories of them, but I only watched it once as a kid and mostly forgot everything about the movie. I also only ever owned the Scooby-doo in Hollywood cassette as well as the one with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Here are some WIPs I've been sketching out since the last thread. I had an initial piece for the first request but I wasn't happy with the proportions or how I depicted Sibella looming over anon, I hope the new version conveys it better.

As for the second piece, while I have other pictures I'm working on at the moment, Since I removed the butt glimpse from the first request, I decided to make the second request focus on that as well, considering how many of us posted pics of Sibella's tushie and I want to get in on that action. While she may not be putting on the sunscreen, I think OR and everyone will like the alternative. Sorry for the previous links, I keep forgetting how to link to posts on Desuarchieve. These are both WIPs, so keep an eye out for the inked and colored finals as well as other piece. Sorry for taking so long but I want to make sure I get these right.

The only complete run I have is Marvel Fanfare, otherwise I mostly collect Annuals, since until the late 80's they were usually self-contained stories, so they're easier to collect and read on their own. They usually also have better artists than the monthly books as well, like Art Adams, Michael Golden, Dave Gibbons, etc.

>I'm curious why there isn't more stories about native Americans.

Because media hasn’t done a particularly good job of depicting them correctly in the past. It takes a lot of effort & research to get it right. In comparison writing white cowboys is easy.

In terms of movies/TV it’s basically mix of racism and bias and economics, ie studios going durrrrrr we can’t make that because it would not make money, we need a white leads because nobody wants to watch no name injuns, etc.

>Especially now that media is supposed to be "inclusive".

They are being more inclusive now. That doesn’t automatically mean that there is a major push by studios to make tons of diverse projects just for the sake of diversity. The only reason Chief of War exists is because a) Jason Momoa is a big name and b) Momoa personally created the show, c) Apple is rich enough company that it can just make an expensive TV shows like that for its own streaming service, d) Apple already had a positive working relationship with Momoa due to him making three seasons of See.

>If anything it seems like they are trying to remove any trace of them from the mainstream.

And that’s why they didn’t do show like Reservations Dogs or movie like Prey, right? Oh wait!

>It's sad to see especially because I doubt native Americans are the ones offended by these depictions.

And why do you doubt that exactly? Because you don’t particularly care about it yourself that other people’s culture and history is depicted incorrectly and historically speaking that has been the way media has mostly done it for over a century at this point? Native Americans activists have spent ages being critical of how their people have been depicted and how badly Hollywood has represented them, everything from their ceremonial head dresses being used wrongly to mixing up tribes with another as if they’re all alike, how everything keeps largely being told form white revisionist perspectives without showing all the injustices and breaking of treaties the white colonisers did, etc.

>It seems fit for a film adaptation but the masses tend to not like stories without a clear these are the good guys and these are the bad guys.

And this makes libs the “real racists”? Give me a break. The main reason it doesn’t have an movie adaptation is simply because nobody makes westerns anymore. Period shit is expensive and you don’t get projects like that made unless you’re a star. Look at Kevin Costner’s Horizon, he had to leverage his career resurgence AND spend millions of his own money to get it made. And it still flopped at the box office. And that movie literally starts with a white settlement being destroyed by natives so this idea that you can’t make anybody but whites bad guys isn’t true.

Kresse's Indians is from the 70s, Derib started publishing during the 70s and released Buddy Longway/Yakari/Way of the Shaman/Red Road well into the 90s. Mitton put out Quetzalcoatl at some point, Baranko released Shamanism somewhat recently. There also was L'Esprit de Warren, which is about an indian boy serial killer who's convinced he's the reincarnation of a dead cult leader.

You should blame the retards in Boston, not the show. Also, everything bad that happened in the cartoon industry leading to now would have happened regardless, so the network would have still gone downhill, just a bit later.
>>
>>150208788
or better yet blame the retard that put them up then ran away to call his bosses when police came instead of just telling them wtf was going on lol... that's why they got sued.

>"But MOOOOOOOOOM, I don't wanna go to school today!"
>"Jonathan Lesley Kent, you go and get dressed right this second young man!"
>Leslie let out a sigh as Jon reluctantly trotted his way over to his bedroom, slamming the door indignantly behind him
>Had the younger version of herself been told that she'd trade in a life of electrifying crime to instead become a mother to the son of the big boyscout himself, she'd have laughed the person who told her that out of the room
>...or burnt them to a crisp with a thousand-watt electric shock
>But here she was, Leslie Willis, formerly Livewire, formerly Metropolis' most infamous shockjock, now making breakfast for the son of Superman
>Her husband
>Even just thinking about it gave her the kinds of tingles sapping the city's power plant could never rival.
>The degree of her domestication from supervillain to stepford wife would be embarrassing if she didn't secretly like the feeling being Supes' husband gave her. Or the feeling of being a mother...
>Jon was a good kid, better than her at that age. He took after his father a lot more than her. But there were still some things of Leslie's she passed down to her son

>The lights in the apartment flickered, and Leslie scowled
>"JON! YOU BETTER NOT BE PLAYING WITH THE OUTLETS AGAIN!"
>Leslie unplugged the toaster and disappeared in a bright flash of electric light, the shapeless mass of electricity slipping into the open socket, before reappearing in Jonathan's (noticeably untidy) bedroom
>It took on a feminine silhouette, arms angrily pressed against wide hips, as Leslie's voice came out in distorted tones
>"What have I told you about playing with power in the house?!"
>Jon sat at the outlet, prodding his finger with it, small arcs connecting the tip to the exposed wiring
>"You do it all the time Mom"
>"I'm a grown-up and know how to use my powers!"
>"Well can you teach me how to use them again? I promise I'll listen this time!"
>"No more lessons until your father comes back from that mission of his! At least someone'll be ready to put out any fires we end up making. Now hurry up and get dressed! AND TIDY UP THIS ROOM!"
>Leslie's electric form disappeared from Jon's room and reappeared back in the kitchen

>Leslie had gotten rusty in her old age. Energy reconstitution used to be easy when she was younger and less morally anchored. She'd been out of the game so long only the most basic of hers powers still worked the way she wanted to.
>Still, she came off as more skilled and in control to Jon, which she was compared to him. But entering and exiting electrical appliances didn't used to end with her stark naked every time, even when she wasn't wearing her special containment leotard
>Leslie hastily picked up her clothes off the floor. A pair of black sweat pants and a white Superman-brand tee.
>Even in XL size, Leslie struggled to pull the bottoms over her enormous hips and doubled-in-size badonkadonk. And even the shirt (one of Clark's, surprise surprise) rode up and exposed some of her midriff thanks to her large, swollen breasts
>If there was one thing her younger self could appreciate about Leslie's motherdom, it was that it helped improve her "assets"
>As Leslie redressed herself, making sure her pants were tugged up high enough to hide the S-Shield tattoo above her pussy in case Jon returned, she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the rangehood
>Her long black hair had erupted into a frizzy, glamrock style with a blue glow to match the stark white emanation of her skin. The excess electrical charge was not yet out of her system, sustaining her trademark Livewire look, albeit, appropriately changed
>Damn, she hadn't taken a good look at herself in her powered form for a long time now. She distinctly remembered how much she hated squeezing back into her costume the last time she had to teach Jon some lessons on how to use his powers.
>But now? Well, maybe she needed a new perspective
>She struck a few poses, admiring her reflection, even taking the time to tug down her pants quickly and ogle her OTHER tattoo inked on her asscheek.
>"Heh," Leslie smirked to herself, "Milfwire's still got it..."
>"Woah! When did you get that Mom?"
>"JON!"

I know it's all subjective, but
with Tulip, while understandable because she doesn't have another MC like in the other books, her journey really making clear that the train is about fixing your problems and the way she tries so hard to reject it only makes her look bad preferring to be trapped rather than accept the divorce. Plus, the fact that it ends with her crossing wires to control something that's either magic or technology so advanced that it's like watching a Roman unlock the write protection on a Chromebook doesn't help.
Now, Lake's story is very simple. There are no consequences for the rest of the saga, which makes it dedicate itself entirely to the story, unlike books 3 and 4 being interrupted to bring Amelia. She's never safe, so you're constantly wondering when everything will go to hell, thus enjoying the calm moments. Fuck, even the world is consistent with the flecs focusing only on her, unlike book 4, having to force the bad guys to want to kill Ryan and Min too so they have stick to Kez instead of just abandoning her on the spot. Besides, even with God by her side, she's never safe, which justifies her more gray actions. Also, she and Jesse are the best duo on the show. Atticus never confronts Tulip, Grace is always in charge, and the constant fights between Ryan and Min end up being annoying.

Thanks for listening to my TEC talk. sorry for having made one, but it's been a while since I've been able to talk about the show. And remember, this is subjective.
