I'm so sick of people saying that indie is the future. There is not enough money and jobs in the independent series to balance the total collapse of the industry. We are in the worst era for studio animation right now and it's only going to get worse. Just because there's a couple of cool things on YouTube and Flow winning awards does not negate the amount of people quitting animation to work in fucking retail.

>>151749788Was there really any money in animation? Everybody hated to admit it, but all the money in animation comes from toys and apparel. If you want to make cartoons then you better have a damn good product to sell, or else I'm nobody's gonna finance. I'll be eagerly awaiting your silverware swordfighter cartoon.

Jessica Jones returns in Alias: Red Band, a new Marvel Comics series launching March 2026 for the 25th anniversary. Sam Humphries and Geraldo Borges helm the five-issue noir crime saga with mature, polybagged content. Jessica teams up with Typhoid Mary to solve grisly murders in Hell’s Kitchen while navigating her marriage to Mayor Luke Cage. David Mack, Elena Casagrande, and Jeehyung Lee provide striking variant covers for the highly anticipated series.Well, it's not Brian Bendis and Sara Pichelli. But Sam Humphries and Geraldo Borges are launching a new Jessica Jones series, Alias: Red Band for the 25th anniversary of the creation of the character in March from Marvel Comics. And ahead of a joint Jessica Jones/Luke Cage project later this year. >>151751909Glad you enjoyed it. May I recommend another one.https://www.kaspall.com/comic/2004/08/05.htmlThis one is my one of my favorites of all time. It's complete. It's slightly over 450 pages. It's a multi-perspective murder mystery based in a city where sometimes people and beings from other worlds get accidentally dimension doored in and are basically refugees, so there are lycan psychics to dragons to even a person with high-tech subscription based synthetic eyeball. One of the rare stories that actually ties everything together, and one you can reread multiple times and see clues you've missed.
>>151640945>>151640945you guys ever read The Lego Man Series? Follows a lego minifigure named Legoman going through his everyday life. It's mostly a joke of the week per post but surprisingly goes in depth of Legoman's background and other characters. Things like going to war, stranded in a farm, joining a gang, family issues, and the house demon.Sadly it stopped updating back in 2023 with chapter 32. Hope he comes back to continue in the future.https://www.theduckwebcomics.com/The_Lego_Man_Series/

Are there actually a large number of people who hate this man? For some reason, I feel as though everyone (including me) loves him. The only actual recent criticism of him is that he's in the love triangle between him, Rogue, and Magneto, and even then, it's more about the execution of the story than anything really against him. I know some people here love to be contrarian, so convince me; how is he not Marvel's most well-executed character?
I hate him.Nobody even cares about Gambit outside of Rogue, she utterly overshadows him. He's like Rogue jr. Even now nobody in this thread can talk about Gambit without mentioning Rogue. He's a weak, outdated, tryhard character and the confusing powers make him more stupid. He's not good enough for Rogue tbqh
>>151751238I think people might dislike him for being 90s.Which is insane because the 90s was the only good decade. Trust me, I'm making this fact up.
>>151751238i like him. he's not my favorite but he fits in street level because of his skill set as well as heavy hitter stuff because of his powers. i like seeing him on teams
