Is there a better canadian cartoon?
>>151727374At least it have sexiest main character
Why is she dressed like 60% of Chileans and 55% of Argentineans?
>>1517273746teen
>>151728024Say what you want about nazis but they had a sense of style.
>>151728126So thats why the show was so weird.
Looks so much better than the Netflix movie
ok /co/bros, this is a question for all of you. why we don't have cool and edgy stories like invader zim/johnny homicidal maniac anymore? and i don't mean just corposlop from mainstream studios but like indies too. why don't we have stuff that can be both edgy, witty while delivering social critique here and there?
>>151723589>>151723681Tumblr got their vibes from this show. Rebecca Sugar was an Invader Zim fag. So was Vivienne Medrano.
>>151726835>what if invader zim but gay>becomes it's only legacy
>>151726835Is there an English-speaking millennial working in animation that isn't a Zim fag?
I liked Lenore more than anything made by Vasquez.I thought it was funnier and more appealing aesthetically.

Williamson wanted to make him Damian's brother/clone, Slade's son/clone.I think the fact that he's someone nobody remembers anymore is the least bad thing.>Brick, what a joke.
>>151726657ACKTUALLY it is worse because the Red X that originally stole Dick's suit killed Brick. So Brick was Red X's son/clone
>>151726657There are two Red Xs whose identities are unaccounted for. That's if you don't count the show one, who Glen Murakami apparently wanted to be Jason Todd after "figuring out" a good identity for him after his return appearance, but an anon claimed Ben Jones said that was just a placeholder identity. Jones deleted his twt so who knows.
>>151726657Can't he just be a resurrected Grant Wilson?
>>151726657Damn
Why are so many western animators, even big creative heads being pushed out of the industry and into poverty?
>>151725033The 2010s creators became so flexible in comparison because they studied the 2000s guys productions on the way up and knew more to anticipate from the business. They were online starting to learn about it younger with more information. The 2000s guys went to school in analog and their expectations were set by traditional education with old-timers, only for a few to become young rockstars with their own shows right out of school. If some of them assumed every job would be a step up from the last and already intended to work in the industry for the rest of their lives, it’s naïve but only natural to make unwise financial decisions and be slow to adapt.
>>151725067>People do a shit job of supporting their influencesi realized that recently after I saw a picture of the smiling friends creators with matt groening. You don't really see younger generations reaching out for veterans. There's that famous "family tree" of animators working with eachother and then branching out to their own thing but very rarely you see projects where they ever collab again. Best case scenario you have homages like the aforementioned smiling friends being simpsons fans and the recent space king episode basically copying an action sequence from clone wars
>>151725361>Join for free
>>151717943That's below minimum wage. I make that in 2-3 days moving boxes which requires no degree. To only earn that much as a respected animator with previous shows under their belt..
>>151725067 Don’t help veterans because they already got theirs. Don’t help established animators because they’re already in their prime. Don’t help newbies because they need to pay their dues. Don’t help nobody else because your pay is only enough for one. While the mice run off with the bag.
Watching Adventure Time hits me with nostalgia in a bad way, and I don't even hate the show.
>>151725844because ice king never got a gfnobody gives a shit about Simon, it's ice king we want to see happy
>>151727552I like Simon
>>151726213Faggot
>>151727552Ice King without Simon is an okay character. Simon is what makes him such an interesting character.
I remember how sweet this pairing was back then.
>It appears my intellectually concerning presence is the cause to much kafuffle with my peers
>>151727175You know what I don't dislike? That abuse is not treated as the end-all-be-all of all sins (as many other stories do, and as much as many fans would want to) but just as another way for a sinner to be heineous and have deserved Hell.Valentino is a textbook abuser borderline rapist, and he's still allowed to have character moments, comedy bits, join in on the let's-come-together-and-hold-hands triumphant ending musical number, and so on.In CURRENT YEAR, that's honestly unexpected and refreshing.
>>151727262I really like the idea of the show going all out on the redemption angle, meaning that you have to accept that yes, even the bastard rapist is human and has the potential to change. I just don't trust these writers to do it justice, feels more like they simply personally like the character and are making him more marketable. We'll see in S3. Or just embrace the stupidity and give me the Always Sunny at the V Tower spinoff.
>>151726662She doesn't know. We the audience know but she doesn't. She doesm't know Angel is a sex slave either.Charlie basically doesn't know anything at all.
>>151728082I'm pretty sure she knows Alastor owns Husk and Niffty. Doesn't Husk explicitly say he's not there by his own choice in S1? She even saw Valentino manhandle Angel, and Angel himself said the Vees are his abusers which she happily ignored. She's not ignorant, she just doesn't care
>>151728128She saw Val manhandle Angel but she doesn't know they're literally raping him and Angel doesn't tell them either. She knows the Vees mistreat him but not to what extent.
>>151726023I think they’re just friends. She gifted Goose an inflation commission back in 2023

>>151724285>When the artist has an art style I really like but only does art of a fetish I dislikeEvery damn time
>>151724285I don't get inflation when all they is turn into inanimate objects. What the fuck is the appeal if they don't even have any human form left? You might as well be jerking off to fucking beach balls. Even berryfags manage to keep the girls' breasts.
I like Fate's stuffI force my friend group to get together every time they post a new animation and we all watch it live like a fucking peep-show
A thread dedicated to this voluptuous hog, or any other Muppet really but everyone knows she draws the dimes.
>>151724316I recognize that wardrobe malfunction.
>>151727224You recognize that wardrobe malfunction.
>>151726064Dude Amy Schumer is hot as fuck.
>>151726064It’s funny that the moment she tried to slim up, her husband divorced her.
>>151728183>Amy Schumer has been a fat piggy for decades that has gotten fatter as time goes by for most of her life>she only started getting suspiciously skinny around the time Ozempic because a thingSurely it's only a coincidence.
What would you do if you reincarnated as Nicole?

>>151721613HOLY SHIT IT'S 13 MINUTES LONG.
>>151721658YouTube is a shit
>>151721658Less people are aimlessly falling into youtube rabbitholes because of a few conflating factors, be they RTO, cost of living, secret recession hidden in the K shaped recovery data, etc . Ad impressions drop correspondingly, which means revenue loss for channels which rely more heavily on diversity and volume of viewers than attracting specific whales on behalf of advertisers.
He’s going to be in all of these, huh?
Do you have any favourites?
>>151725616I still have this, one of the few toys I kept. Cool cars in cartoons feels like a very '80s-'90s thing, I can't really think of any recently.
>>151725616I like the Batmobile
she has a fat bumper
>>151725616Lance's Fleetwood coupe from Sym-Bionic Titan was awesome. My grandpa owned a bunch of these early 80s Cadillacs when I was young and I loved them. Also, this is one of the only times I've ever seen CGI cars in a 2D show that looked decent. Usually they just look chintzy and out-of-place *cough*BatmanBraveAndTheBold*cough*, but these matched the rest of the show's style well enough, and the movement/animation had a good weight to it. The street race in episode 5 is one of my favorite action sequences in the whole show.

>>151727846Golly jee willikers i LOVE how all the completely different characters from completely different IPs all look and sound the same because theyre all the same people!Fr hollywood is a cartel
>>151727846its definitely a choice
>>151727846it make sensenot for the character himself, but because it's james gunnthe actors he hires are people he has good relations with and dave batista also wants to play more roles where he isn't a muscle meat head
I like Chuck E Cheese and Jasper. They cute.

>>151726225Based writers
>>151722063It is 1000% better than reusing the same 5 cgi renders from close to 15 years ago, and especially the AI renders they are trying to throw in
