>Raphael, you always bear the world's problems on your shoulders. It is an admirable quality when you are a protector of others. But you must realize that while, at times, you may not be my favorite student, it does not mean that you are my least favorite son. You are strong, passionate and loyal to a fault. These are the merits of a great leader as well, but only when tempered with compassion and humility.
Why is Raph suddenly the leader?
>>151928840Who else was going to do it? Donnie? Mikey?!
>>151927580Oh shit that's a RAT
>>151928840>suddenly
>>151928840He deserves it
Why was this a trend in the late 2000s? This actually kind of makes me resent 90s shows because of how people wouldn't shut up about how amazing they were even though shows like Hammerman, Mega Babies, The Wacky World of Tex Avery, and Stressed Eric were fucking atrocious pieces of shit!
It was in response to all the shit live action shows like "dude, what would happen?" that were so shit you probably forgot they even existed. When Nick pulled them for lack of popularity, they didn't have any recent animated shows to pull from, so Nick just aired six hour blocks of Spongebob every day. It was pretty bad from the perspective of being a channel, even if the first four-ish seasons is SB are good.
>>151930742Dude What Would Happen was Cartoon Network Nick aired a lot of live action. In fact, if SpongeBob wasn't on during the late 2000s, there was a good chance iCarly was the show on. It was Nick's second biggest next to the Sponge in the late 2000s
>>151930304>Tech-FantasyIt's a good name for the genre I suppose.

what if stolas and stellas roles were reversed?would that change the shows plot and events in any drastic way?
>>151930928
>>151931229STELLA IS PERFECT.
>>151925511Ngl i'd think Stella would hate a human less than an Imp
>>151925511This seems to be the trend with a lot of writers like Viv. They make characters that they want the audience to not really feel bad for or be happy when the protagonist gets one over on them. But what they consider to be sympathetic or moral behavior is very far off from what a lot of people think. And when you try to shift the tone to it being dramatic instead of comedic you just make it worse since shit that was supposed to be laughed off ends up being serious business and so the audience’s perception of it changes. The same shit happened with Adventure Time. PB could do whacky amoral and weird shit when it was all comedic and low stakes. But as things got more serious she just came off as being a bad person that used and threw away people. It’s why you don’t just shift tones like that. Like imagine if it was the reverse, imagine if Breaking Bad halfway through became a comedy and they just focused on Jesse and Walt working at Los Pollos Hermanos making chicken and meth.
>>151931537>Jesse and Walt working at Los Pollos Hermanos making chicken and meth.>Gus asks how Walter managed to make the chicken so much more profitable>Walter shows off the meth in broad daylight>Laugh track>"Science, bitch!" Jesse says>Overlapping laugh track>Seinfeld music plays
It is my most heartfelt desire to see Gary Groth dead in a ditch, drowned in his own verbal diarrhea after trying and failing to hold a grip on a copy of X-Men #25 (holographic variant) that could have saved his life
>>151923318Thanks
>>151930751I hope he fucks your ass one more time before he dies, and spunks all over your favorite X-Men comics.
>>151930707kinda funny

Can you get away with saying god or goddess in modern kids cartoon
>>151929954yep, that hasn't been forbidden in a while. Gravity Falls had a Love God, Adventure Time had the Party God..

Gwennifer loves whitebois.
>>151931272Primos was doomed the moment they decided to have the show look like that.Looks do matter in cartoons, I'm sure the writing itself was probably fine, but man, making it look like that immediately gave the shoe a bad reputation.
>>151931310>shoeI'd like to be crushed under Gwennifer's shoe.
What kind of name is Theresa?
>>151931326It's Theresa's name, sir.

Are you hanging in there, /co/?
>>151920894Yeah. Life is unfulfilling for me and has been for over 10 years. I do nothing but goon, drink, play vidya and sometimes watch stuff. I spent my birthday alone in my room watching Billy & Mandy. If I don't think about it I don't care that much, if I think about it I feel guilt, shame and sadness.
>>151922230Thats his little pimling
It's kind of comforting to know there's other cartoon fans out there who are as depressed and lonely as I. Probably using cartoons as an escape sometimes, like me. I wish I could be your friends. I need friends.Loneliness might not be 100% your fault. I find it's important to remember that there's absolutely a loneliness epidemic happening. The world is a more isolating place these days. hang in there
>>151931641Don't know what this says about my mental wellbeing, but cartoons are more or less my main reason for keeping on. I also refuse to die before any of those FOX cartoons do.
>>151931641The idea of a friend is cool but I don’t want to invest in another person. The work it takes to maintain friends tires me.
