But while I am materially and enviromentally well, I feel like my mental state has become far more dangerous in terms of the margins between being content and having a psychotic episode.When I was younger and a NEET living in literal filth I was constantly in a state of anxiousness and depression with moments of relief, but the worse that such feelings led to was me sleeping a lot more and hurting myself. The consquences was being sad and beating myself up, but I could still feel grounded and part of the world around me. I knew who I was. Now though I am not in that pit, but I feel like I am constantly next to a sharp cliff at any moment. The consquences isn't angst or self-hatred but me losing sense of grounded reality, night terrors and sudden very scary compulsions to put my life at risk. When I was depressed I constantly thought about hurting myself to express my self-pity, but now I will be driving down the road and all of sudden I will have thoughts about how easy it would be to swerve and total my car into a barrier at 60mph, how I could it then and there but with absolutely no emotional provocation. It's like I have traded constant anxious neuroticism for sharp and unpredictable intrusive episodes.A part of me feels really guilty about being this way despite what I have, but that edge just never goes away. I no longer sleep my life away but I am now to scared to fall asleep at all.

Brad Pitt's character had no effect on the plot at all.I'm pretty sure this started as a horror comedy but they reworked a bunch of elements to try to ride the success of Roger Rabbit. Including adding a detective for no reason.
