Nightcrawler'origin in the xmen cartoon is much much better than the convoluted drama that is the comic version. The whole dynamic too. I hate that Demayo planned to make them a happy family in the future. I hope that subplot is abandoned.Their push to make Mystique their loving mom sucks so much. They just want them to be the kids of a lesbian, forgetting Mystique is a terrible person. In the cartoon, she served Rogue to Magneto and in the comic, she tried to rape Gambit several times, yet Rogue still loves her like her real mom and has never even spoken about that like it's nothing. It's retarded and it's just the writers thinking it's cool that she's fucking gay, ignoring all the shit stuff she's done before.
