The only reason it still has viability as a brand is the cartoon and nostalgia for the era the cartoon is basically a modernised version of, which is a problem when you can’t have all the central characters be teenagers anymore.The only way you can do Titans now is if you made it like what Waid did with World’s Finest, just set the goddamn book in the past when everyone is still a kid and be happy if/when it sells. If you have to do a modern day book you have to scrap the classic roster entirely, no hanger ons like Beast Boy or Raven unless they’re the authority figures you rebel against and are basically small background characters, fill it with new (they can be pre-existing but you need them be something besides Titans adjacent and nostalgia based) teens who stick around and actually do something radically different with it.
