That scene was dragged out way too long.
the scene where conquest was pulling out mark's guts was really visceral and made me think mark didn't really fight conquest, he just survived him. Like it wasn't a glorious, anime 1v1 where the hero proves his ideology correct. It was like fighting a wild animal and killing it before it killed you. Mark is just lucky viltrumites can survive disembowelment.But I can't for the life of myself understand why you wouldn't just break the dude's wrist instead of doing useless body shots. Viltrumite pain tolerance is crazy so it would've made more sense to do something to break the grab if you can't instantly kill them.Maybe the only reason conquest died was because he held back the magic viltrumite chop until the very last second and just didn't expect mark to tank it and double down on choking him to death. Conquest's sadism is doing a LOT of lifting for the logic of this fight.
