Watching Adventure Time hits me with nostalgia in a bad way, and I don't even hate the show.
I just watched the Simon episode of Fionna and Cake. It gave me a little bit of closure, but I'm not going to watch the whole show—just that episode.

Adventure time is a really bad, depressing vibe. It makes me feel slightly sick to watch and I just feel a need to avoid it. I'll watch clips and even that is enough to get me in a bad/somber mood. And I don't just mean because of le lore. It just feels like nothing is allowed to be fun.Even the early episodes like the one where they accidentally take the baby creature thing away from its home and it nearly dies.Watching AT is like being forced to grow up and watching all the serious aspects of adult life creep into the little sanctuary of comfort we call childhood
