>What is this thread?
Every Wins'day at Win-O'-Clock we gather here and post links to the latest scans and rips of comic books.
Most links we uploaded ourselves, others we are sharing from elsewhere.
Some comics we've even purchased ourselves (but most we didn't).
If you'd like to help out, just ask and we would be delighted to tell you how.
Otherwise, be patient, be polite, and understand the simple concept behind these words: Not posted means not available yet.

>Where can I find old Win-O'-Threads?
https://desuarchive.org/co/search/subject/Official%20Win-O'-Thread/
(Note: This finds the OP for old threads. If you want to search for comics in the archive, clear the subject field!)

>Where can I find downloads for other comics?
Warez forums/blogs, DDL-indexing search engines (like FilesLoop), torrent trackers (like 1337x) and other P2P networks (like DC++).
If a link has been posted on 4chan, you can search for it in the Desu archive (add "http*" to searches to return only posts with links).
If all else fails, just >buy it.

I wanna have a thread about our larger-than-life protagonists showing why they're admirable figures. We get caught up in the pomp and circumstance a lot, but I think it's writing moments like this that really illustrate what makes what makes them "super", you know?

Pic related is Thor convincing the Awesome Android that his ability to hold Mjolnir meant he had the noble worthiness necessary to even do so in the first place, getting him to join the side of good rather than being an evil pawn.

>>151726001
It's not quite "larger-than-life" (the story is decidedly not about those kind of people), but it was a nice through line that the "would've flunked out of Jedi school if his teachers didn't go crazy first" protag of the KotOR comic spends the entire comic trying to do right by the people he comes across in whatever way he can. It's also nice that this explicitly pays off for him across the entire run. Just a good feeling sort of aspect of the story, something that feels decidedly, and oddly, rare in Star Wars media, which is caught between blindly replicating the famous symbology to the detriment of good story telling or wanting to do its own, more cynical take on things.

Honestly it's such a breath of fresh air to have a solid "action/adventure" show again. It sure as fuck ain't perfect, but holy shit have I missed having shows in the genre that are better than The Dragon Prince. And while the plot is more-or-less already decided, the writers are making enough tweaks to keep things interesting, in a "how will they adapt this?" way. Hell, the presentation has been good enough that I sort-of enjoyed Molly, a character I only ever tolerated in the podcast.

I mean, I didn't say you're not allowed. Just that it seems like a waste of time to sit around talking about how much you 100% hate a show instead of finding a show you at least partly like.
But hey, your life, dude.

>>151732366
More "heavily edited" than "heavily redacted." They took the basic plots the different players (and DM) came up with, gave them to actual writers (and Sam) and edited it into a much more coherent narrative, keeping some of the better improv, dropping the dross, and handing the action scenes to some pretty solid directors. We never saw how Caleb and Nott met in the podcast. In the show it's 1/3 of the first episode (and the best third, for that matter).
>>
>>151732071
You keep trying to pretend it's about woke shit like that and not that male voices are a turn off.
>b-but I can't tell it sounds female to me!
Then you're deaf, retarded or disingenuous. Maybe any combo of those three.

>>151732824
>Just that it seems like a waste of time to sit around talking about how much you 100% hate a show instead of finding a show you at least partly like
Thing is, I didn't. That was your assumption, anon.
And there's value in expressing both positivity and negativity. I go to plenty of threads and talk about stuff I like, I can just say whatever stupid opinion I have off the top of my head. But in threads about stuff I dislike, I have to actually properly articulate myself so that it stands up under scrutiny. If it can't, then either I didn't articulate it properly so that I learn an area in my communication skills that needs practice in, or if the opinion itself was weak then I gain insight to make me reconsider my own viewpoints.
>But hey, your life, dude.
Yes, it is my life, thank you for recognizing that.

>male voices are a turn off
I'm not attracted to Nott and that wouldn't change with a different voice. She's a fun horrible little goblin thing, I find her entertaining, the voice is fine for a horrid monster that occasionally shows signs of A Heart of Gold, but I have no desire to fuck her. If the design does something for you, you do you, but it does nothing for me.
Now Doctor Girlfriend, THERE was a dilemma, because I could definitely tell it was a guy's voice, but the design was deliberately sexy as fuck.
>>
>>151733006
Her voice is offputting at the start, by the last season you don't even notice anymore.

This time we're up to 2003.

Last time, Funky went to rehab and AA to deal with his alcoholism and while initially things seemed to be turning around in his marriage, 9/11 happened. Cindy's reporting on it made her realize that New York was where she wanted to be and so she signed a new contract without telling Funky who was pissed when he found out. At that point, they were officially separated and all that was left was to work things out with the lawers... except that Cindy's side was demanding partial ownership of Montoni's. Things continued going swimmingly for both Winkerbean men when Wally was shipped off to Afghanistan and soon after, his helicopter was hit by a Stinger and he was listed as MIA.

Les and Lisa decided that they wanted a kid but things didn't go smoothly as Darin's father Frankie returned, the stress of which caused Lisa to go into labor. The Moores' daughter, Summer, was thus born premature and while things were touch and go they turned out fine. Lisa had also graduated from law school and started working at a women's organization.

In less depressing events, the Eliminator returned to challenge Crazy Harry where it was revealed that "he" was actually a woman named Donna. This led to Crazy and Donna dating and, after a mishap with the engagement ring, marrying by the end of 2002. Dinkle, now getting older and having more responsibilities, decided he needed an assistant band director, a position that was filled by recen college graduate Kara Milstrom.
