She's okay, but as >>143351968 noted the "successor" thing seems very forced from a plot perspective. If they really needed to move the lead role on because Jack Black is too expensive and/or old and/or busy, they should have just set something up where at the end Po gets called off on some important travel adventure and asks her to help fill in while he's gone.

When will Po fight the actual 4 Auspicious Beasts of Kung-Fu? The Azur Dragon, Vermillion Bird, Black Tortoise and White Tiger. They are creatures that are supposed to be existing in the Spirit Realm when a Kung-Fu Master ascends the Mortal Realm (dies).Although the series hinted about their mortal existence and even joked about it, a more serious rendition of those four would make for a good continuation to the story. Po is supposed to represent the Yellow (Gold) Dragon (or the Qilin in other interpretations), which represents the element of Earth. All Four Auspicious Beasts including the Yellow Dragon are supposed to keep everyone in check in the Spirit Realm and to make sure that demons and monsters do not invade.
Spared us another girlboss thankfully. Even had her slapstick which is a plus, not much else.
