Whole thing should be streamlined. You could fix this show up some with some brutal editing. By far the most interesting thing about it is the love square and Adrien suffering. Between his relationship with his dad and with Marinette, he's clearly the soul of the show and contains all the interesting moral dilemmas and narrative tension. Marinette by contrast is simply not put into enough difficult sympathetic positions. People kiss her ass too much. For a spider-man knock off it's silly they forgot that spider-man is constantly fucking up, under-rewarded and put in anxious no-win situations to build up drama.

Flash seems like a mindless bully to Peter at the start, but eventually Peter recognizes how his attitude towards his other classmates caused conflicts unnecessarily, slowly recognizing that the guy has more honor to him than he'd initially thought. Flash's appreciation of Spider-man is to point out that he approves of Peter more than he initially thought, and they become friends. Asstruck is a bitter pc nerd who hasn't personally grown enough to see other points of view and hasn't found closure or any personal responsibility for hassles he likely experienced growing up, and so can't accept the idea of Chloe being anything but human waste. But the audience is still expecting the narrative payoff of themes and motifs Asstruck copied as a gimmick but didn't understand.

I became disillusioned about this show a long long time ago. Especially considering the treatment they reserved to Adrien, which is by far my favourite character. After watching the finale, with him caving the last battle, i finally, definitely lost any interest i had left in this show. Fuck it, i've watched 5 seasons of this shit and i can't tell you the names of any of the non-miraculous users and i even didn't bother learning the names of a couple of the actual miraculous users.Also, oo much cockteasing the audience by trying to make you invest in something that they then actively announce that "Oh yeah, that ain't happening till the final episode."Pretty much, Miraculous had the exact same problems that Star Vs The Forces of Evil had, except at least Star Vs had a likeable supporting cast. Like, pic related. Star and Marco smooched a full season after everyone was kinda over it and even the ones who hadn't given up hope by that point described it as a hollow victory.

Something puts the kibosh on that and instead, Marinette and Chat Noir kinda console each other for them both having lost their loves and they start dating.>S4 works on the reversal of roles, Chat is the one in costume with him having to tackle his own unique awkward situations he has to get out of in order to keep his cover and date his girlfriend. As well as the reversal of persona's. Marinette being the vulnerable one while Chat is bombastic and Marinette learning to appreciate that side of him more. Season ends with them both getting the idea to finally make their move. in their dating lives. Both of them get the same crazy idea. That they can have their cake and eat it. They agree to go their separate ways in costume, but then they both pursue each other out of costume, missing the other from their previous arrangement. Season ends with Marinette and Adriens first official kiss as civilians.>S6 finally ends it and they learn each others secret identities. Or if you have to drag it out for another season due to good ratings, then have the same shit as last time, except their crazy dating plan ends with Ladybug and Chat dating for S7.
