Since the thread allows non-bunny angels. Here's a question, what animals work as angels? We've had dogs (All Dogs Go to Heaven), we've had sheep (Helluva Boss), and we've had bunnies (Angel Hare). I'm sure there have been others but I can't think of any just off the top of my head. What other furry, feathered, or scaly creations of God would people accept as serving in the Heavenly Host?

The oldest cherubim, which G_d both rode, and which pulled the chariot (which was pre-dates the idea of a holy throne), were egyptian sphinxes. The sphinx wasn't just decoration. These were killing machines who were used to represent holy smiting. The reason the top of the ark's golden cover was annointed with blood was to mimic the idea of the sphinx turning battle fields into spongy fields of mud made with blood.
