Ive played a few of the old pre ps2 ones and some of them werent actually that bad. the first batman on nes while hard is fun and I enjoyed beating it and batman returns on snes is fun to play and just punch people. and it has pretty decent music to go with it. the arkham games are also considered good and I enjoyed them. ive tried a few of the other ones like the batman animated series one on genesis and batman beyond on ps1 (was kinda meh but cool it got a game). so all in all ive had decent experiences with batman games.

>>147112135Yeah snes/genesis games had a special look especially snes. I actually find myself going to snes roms alot when in the mood to game since there's so many fun good games on the system. The rpgs have kept me quite entertained and im still working through the snes zelda game link to the past I think its called. Super mario world has been more fun than I expected. I also try to avoid spoilers and looking up solutions to the games I play so its also been hard in that aspect as some games I go in fairly blind to what it is past its name and maybe a screenshot or 2 I saw. One example of a surprise was 7th saga which the screenshots showed an overhead world. I got into it and got into battle and it switched to that one mode and I was like oh this is pretty cool. I'm a few hours into the game and my friend told me about a patch for it to fix a few things and he'll give me the link later this week. snes has been a ton of fun and so has the genesis though ive explored that a bit less.

I feel tromping through the snow in winter especially in the woods wakes up something in us when we're in the middle of it and I love it. Nice guy also he's in his 70s and he used to be a farm boy back in the 60s and 70s and than worked engineering and parts at factories for 30 years and made damn good money. than he and his wife retired to this cabin hamlet to get away from it all and grow giant gardens and weed to smoke. he's always got 70s music playing when you go to his house.

If I wanna just mess around with a wrestling game and power bomb people there's a few games from the past that let me do it and arent bad graphically or mechanically. if I want an rpg there's tons for a bunch of systems waiting for me to explore. And piles and piles of action and puzzle and all sorts of genres. So I dont even need to bother with most of modern gaming (especially the main stream stuff). I just started exploring the game gear and neo geo pocket/color recently and some of the translated roms it has. fun stuff honestly.
