Hi guys. Story timing the sequel to Mars Attacks! The famous/infamous and influential pulp sci fi set. This is the sequel that came out in 2012. The original from the 1960s can be read here >>147129268
It took me a while to find these cards. I looked online for a complete link to ever card but those only exist in shitty quality. So what I had to do was search through Ebay for the listing of every card and download the scans individually. Sadly for the ebay listings people were only willing to scan the front, not the back so the story cards are lower quality, but since it's mostly just text I figured that wont be too big of an issue. I'm pretty sure what I will be posting will be the highest quality complete set of these cards available online so download them for preservation purposes if you are interested! Also forgot to mention I also story timed Dinosaurs Attack! here>>147142760
>>147167633Wasn't Mars going to exploded due atomic reasons? Also way 1962? Also thanks OP.
>>147167589Are you going to do dinosaurs attacks? I like that evil dinosaur Satan thing
>>147167910Already did hombreSee >>147142760
Maybe I shouldn't have chosen 2am US time to do this.
>>147167633I've only a passing, vulgar interest in these cards, but I must applaud your dedication anon.
>>147168024I just really like classic and pulp sci-fi along with retro futurism.
I've only ever seen the original set, and I didn't even know there were a followup, so this is neat.
>>147168238Once again with the capture of nubile earth women. For science off course.
>>147168288Apparently this was the reason
>>147168384Martian damage control. We all know the real reason.
bumpwhat year is this?
>>147168704Humanity can only blame themselves for not keeping surveillance in the sky after the first attack. Dumbasses.
Be honest /co/, would you a Martian? I would. God I wish that were me
>>147168384A nice big pile of plausible deniability
>>147168774Oops, accidnetally deleted
KEK THEY DID IT AGAIN AND EVEN WORSE THIS TIME
>>147168927How did the mommy cat fit in such a tiny box?
These ones seem a lot more gory than before
>>147169073To be fair, they did come out 50 years after the original series.
>>147168384Better than the original
>>147168317>>147168384>>147168570>>147168639Jesus Christ they really doubled down on the gore this go around.
>>147169246God I miss the 90's "Disgusting" era of cartoons and toys. Only some candy brands are still doing it today.
>>147169292Oh thats where the movie got the hippie dove scene from.
>>147169308It's the opposite. This card set came after the film
>>147167727>>GanymedeIf you know, you know
>>147169073took'em like 13 cards to finally get to some action. i really wanted to learn about their reconstruction and military build up
>>147169381What a weird narrative choice. First off the destruction of Mars would only impact Earth's orbit in the slightest of ways given the shear distances the orbits are from one another. Also while Ganymede is only slightly smaller than Mars it is 1/6 the mass of the red planet and so would not make for an appropriate replacement where gravitation is concerned.
