I doubt they'd go there, but I really wanna see how they handle what Huntress did when Finn was mourning his dog bro. With how much she's afraid of commitment, she'd be terrified of a grief-stricken Finn and may have not been much support during those times. At the same time, Finn losing Jake definitely changed him into chasing thrills to cope with his loss, and Huntress could have seen that as a desperate cope, which would just driven her further away. I think there's a lot of angles to this beyond Huntress just being too afraid of caring.

I don’t remember if anons had any complaints about the pacing of the first season but it seems like this season is setting up to resolve HW’s character arc the same way they did for Simon’s. HW will be getting her “epiphany” this episode through Fionna and her own memories in a similar manner to how Simon did through Casper and Nova. Simon was stuck in Shermy’s head so maybe, just maybe HW will get stuck in a weird place too, the most related to her situation would be Farmworld. So while Fionna is roaming through HW’s memories, HW will find herself in FW. The last episode will mainly be wrapping up the Ooo plot since they don’t have much left of the townie plot to cover.
