actually, while on this subject, i think its very interesting how little Rose, the most analytical person on the beta team (or at least thats what she sells herself as) has so little interest in interrogating the nature of her and daves relationship. Of course this is a very common theme for rose. She is smart and analytical until it suits her better not to be, in which she very obviously allows herself to be blinded and relinquish control in order to not be entirely responsible for what happens. Dave, who is much more guarded than rose, not only basically confirms roses assertions that yes, he IS attracted to both his mother and his sister, but that he is actually kind of pissed off about the nature and the circumstances of their relation, and while in a sort of insincere way places blame on skaia / paradox space itself, also kind of drives home a further point about how over the concept of predestination and fate dave is at this point, to where even his basic sexual urges are being crafted by the narrative to be ironic and mean spirited.
