What strange meltdowns will occur this time?
>>11078752I'm going to start it right now but calling out any fag that thinks science is the best growth method. Magical growth, like some stupid apprentice accidentally using a growth spell or an alchemist tricking her naive priestess friend into drinking a growth potion, is universally the best. >m-muh growth rays>m-muh nanomachinesAbominable. You have shit taste.
Anyone have leviathans demon short?
>>11078750this cover image is false advertising
>>11079066Just like every MM cover to date.At least later on the artist of that cover did make a comic somewhat related to that cover.
>>11078761Eh, nanomachines are kind of a modern/five minutes into the future variant of a magic potion in a setting with no actual magic. Just envision them being programmed with an extreme degree of 'self replicate but also sustain the host to make her big enough to contain the equally growing nanobot collective' programming and you suddenly have a perfect recipe for a girl growing relentlessly as said bots build her bigger and bigger. I'll give them a pass. Otherwise I agree. Growth rays are so dull. Spells are great ways to incorperate a massive dose of chaos to a situation if one goes arwy, or is accidentally cast too strong, or the spell hits the wrong person. Same with potions, what with the capacity for trickery or food/drink spiking. I'll also say that potions and nanomachines are perfect for growing out of clothes where rays kinda enforce the clothes growing with the grower, somewhat like spells to a certain extent. Unless you add some 'doesn't grow unliving material' rule for the setting. Or, as you said, an apprentice without a firm grasp on growth magic accidentally not including it.
>animator locks his paywall content files behind a password you can only access by joining>announces a "free month" and turns off monetization>nobody new can join nowSomeone tell me SizeHonolulu's mega password, I PROMISE I'll member when he comes back
>>11079235ya know i never get it with the paywall like, people who are going to pirate are going to anyways, I refuse to pay for any porn anymore, so you're never getting my money one way or another and I know a few others who are the same way. 99% of the time the patreons are absolute garbage anyways. I.e no exclusives, very limited early access/higher paywall to access genuinely early, polls that dont matter (just a popularity contest never have i seen one where 1st gets to go first 2nd gets done second etc), or just limited posts altogether. I've seen maybe 2 good patreons worth my money ever. Especially since most artists do jack shit with the money, like it never means anything, the only people where I've seen patreon=harder work is Lajest and TailBlazer (TB's patreon is pretty good btw, if you can handle all his other odd kinks)
>>110792433- BELady actually worked and improved. Didn't stagnate/become souless like many others have

>>11078761Literally any "science" method will be indistinguishable from magical growth in a growth scenario.

>>11079541It may be that our role on this planet is not to worship giantesses, but to create them.
>>11079524This anon has a point. A potion can be created by an alchemist, wizard or scientist and the result would be the same. A growth ray could be either shot by a gun or a magician and it wouldn't make a difference. It just comes down to if the method makes sense with the theme the growth is taking place.

>>11080835Awful. May as well not have bothered if they were gonna cheap out with the powerpoint presentation of a stick figure.
>>11078761But what if said science method is powered by magic
>>11080894>If a hypothetical growth ray were to be constructed using magic materials specifically known to cause growth, does its source of power make it a magic device, or does the design and function of the device make it a scientific method?I can imagine this debate happening in a growth story already. Just a bunch of anons arguing over dumb shit while their (unwilling) test subjects are outgrowing the building.
>>11080953>magic users seething because due to technological advancements any pleb can now make whatever girl he wishes giantEven more so if said technology uses the same resources they've already been using but made it more streamlined by just pressing a button

https://www.deviantart.com/anonymoly/art/Shrinking-May-Loop-TEASER-1083412357have your anymoly bridget, ones who asked in previous thread
>>11082446>animator has a single project with high priase>immediately goes to their head>starts ramping up project complexity and wants to go into OC shit with high costs, standards, and production valuesevery time. Excited to see Anonymoly smack their head on the same shit that Lajest, AZMaybe, AliceMagic, and Beladdy did before them
>>11082547Alice did hit a big success. Being hired by biggest vtuber corp, when you are a fetish artist is a pretty big accomplishment.
>>11082547Bridget isn't an OC though? And wouldn't you want more complex animations instead of just>girl tweens biggerI think it's less the project that ruins them and more their own mental health that does them in. Anonymoly seems to always be in high spirits so the chance they beladdy themselves is low at the moment
>>11082547Honest question: What do you truly want out of this? What is your personal taste in the long run?
>>11082831Actually lets get make this a healthy discussion: What do you all look for in animation/comics/anything involving growth? There seems to be a lot of mixed levels of approval and vitriol with animators and artists so what do you personally want to see put out there to make things better? Hell even, just stabilizing the fandom so that people are content? I'm just genuinely curious and want to see people motivated and positive rather than poking at flaws and kicking people while they're down. I'd love to hear ideas and attempts to pushing this kink forward.
>>11082831I don't care about this but it's funny to see the cycle>small animator gets somewhat popular>gets gassed up>has a pretty good project>sunndely gets way more gassed up by the popularity>goes all in on production costs and hires VAs, sound designers, etc>project scopes and costs balloon>they release content way less oftern and start to lose fans because of no content>get resentful and burnt out because of high costs and diminishing returns>get mental health gay>mental breakdown>next promising animator shows upit's just around and around we go
>>11082831Not him, what what I like to see is indoor growth done with an eye for growing inside a place that has the actual layout of whatever kind of building it's supposed to be (house, office building, etc.) and not a bunch of slightly decorated boxes loosely attached to each other. I also like nudity, sexual growth, and deliberate destruction. Voiced dialogue rarely turns out well, but voiced moans and grunts have a much higher change of making the overall video better. I hate animation time and effort wasted on setup, use a goddamn intro card to set up the scene if you have to and pick up at the good part. Regarding video length I don't have a real preference, but I'd say it's rare that 6+ minute videos are worth watching in their entirety due to being very likely to run into the aforementioned setup issue. For a good example, here's a pretty fantastic Lajest video: https://mega.nz/file/WU9ywaiL#OvPbe4CfXMCCPPQNILNxeIpH5olN4FwRi5IHwSwio84It's not perfect, suffering from some mediocre spoken dialogue, but it's not bad enough to detract from the near-perfect growth groans and grunts the VA gives and the animation is top notch. It's a good example of how a great size video can be all of 40 seconds long and be just the right length.
>>11082837If I were lazy I'd just respond by quoting >>11082879 as he gets it. As for me,>Short: 2 minutes tops>Voice acting important but moans, grunts, and gasps are all that's really needed.>Some type of extra fetish content sprinkled on top is appreciated so it's not just vanilla growth: vore, feet, breast/ass expansion, hypnosis, ENF, etc, it really needs to be "growth+<something>"I of course have my own personal preferences but I really think a just consistent short and sweet upload schedule of one 1-2 minute growth vid a month with some moans and some extra "hook" is all that's necessary. As that anon pointed out, that lajest video is a good example: very short, has some sexy voice acting, has some lactation to spice it up. Short, sweet, effective.Anonymoly used to do this (more or less) and now he's going off the rails with overproduced, 9 minute long vids with no sexual content and paragraphs of spoken dialog that take months to produce. AzMaybe also used to do this until he got swept up on making some SFW project written by some guy with a legitimate mental illness that scared everyone else off the project (and now 3 years later he has next to nothing to show for it)
Anybody else know wtf is going on with GlassRims kemono page?
>>11082922Saw that too, huh? I have no idea either, but it's not affecting any of the other pages on there...is there a moderation system to filter content clearly not associated with him?
>>11082837Pretty much most of the same being mentioned.>short vid>steady pace of growth>light voice SFX to get you in the mood - gasping, groaning, moaning, etc.>clothes-shredding>nudity, which either leads to ENF or getting horny all over a cityAnd that's really it, something short that keeps thought in mind that everything is getting smaller - even clothing - to me shows tremendously more thought and effort than a 9+-minute-long art piece that uses voice-acted dialogue, the woman stays fully clothed and rolls over small things, and the camera turns into the Bourne Identity films' camera and goes apeshit. The example of what I'd want to see is probably AZMaybe's Pyra vid, which had the formula down perfect of what I like to see in a growth vid, and at the complete opposite end is the Diane vid he did, which was just a bloated, forgettable piece of content, only memorable in the sense of how unsexy it was. I have my own biases with characters and artstyle and stuff too, I'd prefer to see chars from series I like, and a vibrant, JP-styled anime-ish artstyle over anything Western and semi-realistic, but I'm looking for the concepts I dig more than anything, hitting my biases is just icing on the cake.Years ago, after Pyra, AZ said he'd want to do a Morag video in the same style, and seemed super excited about it, and I was too. Now, I'm not even sure I'd want to see it, because I just know it's going to involve a VA who barely sounds like her, with a clipping mic, it's going to be fully clothed, and she's just going to clumsily step on stuff while the camera jumps all over the place - and then you'll get a bunch of lovebombers come out of the woodwork and call it cinema, and get ready to consume the next vid months later. If there was a dedicated animator who did short vids on girls exploding out of their clothes, it'd be fine, but almost every single one ends up going the "AZkino Route", and it's tiring.
>>11082837I've talked about this a few times, so I'll try to keep it brief. My tastes are a bit widespread, but I have reservations.I like growth that is not expected, first of all. A wayward blast, a spell that goes awry, or just a freaky growth spurt, I like the panic and embarrassement that comes with it. Something I don't see enough of, is a sneaky friend or stranger making a lady grow against her will, and being chased by said lady, her increased size making it difficult to not wreck everything and expose herself. Heck, a growth maniac that enlarges all the hapless ladies he finds in his path ! At the end, he gets arrested by the skyscraper-sized policewoman, and is surrounded by lots of giant grumpy faces of multiple sizes. Might be a hard job to make though. If it's indoor growth, more big limbs growing through floors, and more ceiling shots ! As for length, I'm fine with short or long. But for the latter, keep it interesting, yet simple. I see AzMaybe being mentionned, and I LOVED his Diane videos ! His recent Makoto one however, it was only good. Too much stuff, not enough focus on the big lady. But I still like his more SFW-gentle approach, as I am a prude. It's why Scrag's stuff is a mixed bag for me. The weight, the sensual growth, the models, oh it's gorgeous ! But it's always so, so mean. I'm not much for huge bullies, but a growing show-off is nice now and again~
>>11082922>>11083023I didn't even know glassrims HAD a patreon. After he dropped that S-tier goth girl growth comic in here a while back I just assumed he took another long break from drawing. I don't mind throwing $10 his way to see what he's been up to.>>11083084
>>11083545Hit post too fast, wanted to also say that >>11083084 is right on the money, all of Az's vids these days are "clumsy girl clumsily steps on building." Is the aversion to sex or NSFW because they want to preserve their "brand" or is it some kind of weird sex-aversion? I've heard autism can make you less tolerable of straight up porn but I don't wanna make a hasty diagnosis (let's be honest every one of us is on the spectrum)
>>11082837>kicking people while they're downmy heart weeps for the people making money hand over fist to dump a 30 second animation out once or twice a month
>>11083611They're barely one step above Patreon porn game scams sometimes.
>>11083550it's becasue AZ and the others are all trying to leverage it into a career at a VFX firm but they can't put porn in their portfolio
>>11083611If that's the case, join in and make money bro. I mean its hand over fist right? So it sounds lucrative
>>11083084The tragedy to me is that he showed early on a lot of potential: The Pool Growth remix was amazing, the Bowsette and Samus videos pretty solid too. I think the Diane one was also pretty fun, but after that seemed he drifted off.I guess I just wish he'd focus more on interaction and characters in a growth race situation. I personally tend to be less interested if something features a character I have no interest in, but even outside of that it feels like things have gotten... Same-y.
Offering up some fresh fish for these trying times. (Inspired by an old Blunxy animation.)
>>11083709I mean, like the Patreon porn game scams that >>11083620 mentions, there's some work up front required for the scam to work. You have to do enough work and have enough talent that people are really interested in what you're putting out, which is when you go mostly dark and cruise by on 8 hours or less of work a month. Getting that initial buy-in is the trick. Also, some people have more self-respect than that.
>>11083772If my talent was high enough that I would monetise my works I would happily create a money jar. Too bad that's not happening without medoing nothing but writing better, drawing better, learning blender, etc., 24/7
Select one size artist.Their mental health gay is cured, general quality is improved, works are stably released forever. They still do the same overall genre they did before.
>>11083799Lajest easily.By far does the best content imo, even when its just OC stuff. Its just offset by really long waits
>>11083799picking myself so i can finally get back to improving
>>11083713I remember the first big signal of the mental health gay was the doki doki literature club one where he cast himself as a voice actor in it and people dunked on him for it.He had a melty about ti because people said his scripts were cringey and his talent as a VA sucked. That was one of the first times he showed up in this thread to have a melty with his trip on and got super defensive lmao.
>>11083799probably beladdy, though it's probably just his health in general that needs improvment
>>11083799Az. I want that fucking pool sequel.

>>11084187I've used an AI to cut out his voice. Had much better faps afterwards. The sound is a bit artifactey still, but much better.

>>11084648
>>11084649
>>11084648>skinny, short and generally underdeveloped girls growing hugeI like big tits and general curves as much as the next guy, but there's a special place in my heart for the smallest becoming the biggest. I think it helps that they're the most likely candidates for the classic, "girl tries to grow by whatever means, gets impatient, overdoses and thus overgrows," trope.
>>11084656very good taste
>>11083302>scraglink your favorites from him perhaps?i agree with pretty much everything you said though
>>11083799Going to break from others here and say that mental health gay is an unfortunate part of being a fetish artist. Removing that aspect I think would impact the overall quality of fetish content because you have to be partway fucked in the head to be maladaptive enough to think about and then realize such scenarios. That's on top of the addictive and brain-destroying dopamine rush you get from inevitably coming from your own work. But if I had one, it would be Lajest. Guy's work has improved leaps and bounds over the years, but now he seems to be tackling mission creep in his projects whilst stuck in the grips of bipolarism, swinging him from grandeur to melancholic despondency.
>>11084521Is there more scans of the physical manga floating around? It seems to be less censored than the online version, and I want to see how they did the growth scene with Midori.
>>11084656Thank you for the idea
>>11085095>under-developed>D-cupsUh....
>>11085048I have no clue since these growth threads never talk about Giant Ojou-sama despite the focus of the series is about a growth drink. These pictures only pop up from one of the gts threads maybe a year or so ago.
>>11085192Because it's a boring temporary gimmicky macguffin that goes nowhere and always ends in either a joke and/or a "laugh".
>>11084656It is certainly a trope that always works and is the most fun to read and or watch.More so, at least for me, since I enjoy her reaction >>11084649 if she either immediately or even eventually has second thoughts. Usually, if all she wants is to be 'taller', at least at the "average" height. But not at all wanting to keep growing, let alone become gigantic.
>>11085237May not be some peoples cup of tea, I can understand that, but you can't deny that it's a formula that allowed the series to keep going unlike so many other /size/ related series that ended up dying out.
>>11085325Where did you find the uncensored version of this?

>>11085757Guess it’s because I’ve only got it saved on my phone and looks fine here never seen what it looks like on desktop
>>11085389it might be an edit? but there's a pretty easy way if you're willing to go the AI sloppa route>boot up novel ai>bring in a page of ojou-sama>inpaint over just the breasts>use only the tags like "nsfw, breasts, nipples" etc>inpainting is going to generate new content JUST on the area you highlighted (the breasts)>it will keep the entire rest of the image intact and just generate naked boobs in place>may take a few tries but it will eventually generate black-and-white manga-style boobies with no censoringI had a few of these but can't find them anymore.
