>>
>>18241644
CDNIM is made in France so it is bound by the same regulations as other perfumes.
>>
>>18241787
I want to believe that when it was first released it actually had the performance people talked about it having, but that was a long time ago, and it seems L’Oréal has reformulated it to dog shit. I’ve tested it with multiple people, the sillage is nonexistent and the frag lasts ~30 min or less before going skin scent. Really disappointing.

Can’t say that I had that experience with my sample, I went away from my desk to take out the trash one day while wearing it, and the scent certainly lingered around my desk when I came back. And it had been on my skin for something like 4 or 5 hours?

Well CDNIM just arrived and it's already way better than Spicebomb.
I've seen people say the opening is overly harsh and cleaning product like, but to me it was great.
It was bright, citrusy and fresh, not harsh or too much like lemon pledge at all. Maybe I've just got a particularly good batch though.
Now I'm even more excited to try Sillage and Milestone.

I’m trying Night right now and I’m curious if this is a good example of an oud/rose fragrance or not.

Versace's lineup is basically centered around PH and Dylan Blue, but if you want to see more they have an Oud Noir in the Pour Homme bottle. They also have Blue Jeans which is a bright synthetic cheapie that punches above its weight (don't expect miracles - it's still just a bright blue cheapie,) and The Dreamer which is a legitimate classic, but has an 80s style to it in terms of the green herbal notes selected for the top. Why do people call Aventus masculine?
To me the citrus makes it unisex. In fact I hate most "manly" fragrances like Spicebomb but I like Aventus since it's lighter and fruity. While I wouldn't call it overtly feminine, I'm wearing it right now and I can easily imagine a woman wearing this too.

That’s just how Armani rolls, pointless re-releases for perfume lines, flankers that come and disappear, constant reformulations. Most of their lines have a solid core idea behind them (at least on designer fragrance sale), but they are just goddamn annoying about the way how they want to utilize them.

is that necessarily good tho? I do get anosmia with aventus pretty quickly but other people comment on it (unironically the one that women comment on the most), and I can smell it on my shirt the next day, and even on myself after a shower. it does actually last a long time, but most importantly women like it and smell it on me

so if this one actually isn't as good, but doesn't give as much anosmia, that wouldn't be a great tradeoff

I’m gonna be honest the patchouli in Zino is kind of a pleb filter. That fragrance really isn’t all that daring imo. But it definitely has to be dressed a little particularly

and when I first smelled it I was a bit put off especially during the first 30 seconds

It is kind of interesting because it is a combination of the dirty sweet patchouli you might see in something pretty modern/edgy and popular oriental like a Memo African Leather but it also has this sorta dandy Habit Rouge floral fougere vibe with it.

I might style it with something like pic related but I really have to be in the mood for it — and I reach for it a lot less than many of my other 50 or so fragrances. Obviously a lot of you will probably call this style gay or something so idk but it definitely fills a very particular “edgy pseudo formal” niche for me

sell it for a slightly lower price than new on parfumo. i've had people buy cheapies like that before. alternatively sell some other stuff at the same time, increases the chance of the buyer adding zino on top of other frags so shipping doesn't factor in as much.
if all of that fails i'll give it away or put it in the local donation box

ultimately I think there are better ouds at way better prices but I won’t pretend that oud wood smells bad
>>

I don’t really even feel that Oud Wood really is an oud fragrance despite its name, there’s so little synth-oud in it that it just feels more like generic woody something. That doesn’t make it bad, though.

Sillage is interesting, it's different from the real Silver Mountain Water I smelled yesterday, but I've heard that it's almost identical to the original version and that the new SMW has been reformulated to the point that it's very different now. The Fragrance Apprentice on YouTube said that
>Sillage smells more like Silver Mountain Water, than Silver Mountain Water does now.
And he worked for Creed so I can only assume that's the truth. I think I prefer the real one, even if it's technically "worse" than it used to be, but I don't know if I'm going to be rushing to buy a £250 bottle any time soon.
I still like Sillage though, it's similar enough and has the weird uniqueness that SMW does.

Milestone is nice, I think I like it more than Sillage since I love the watermelon note. I like fruity, more unisex type fragrances so it appeals to me a lot. I don't like frags like Spicebomb that are touted as being extremely masculine.
