>>18241619i really like Explorer, haven't tested the other two yet. Probably all will be better value for money than Aventus.
Sotd Cedrat BoiseNewest purchase: Vert Fougere>>18241619Eros Energy is a fucking solid clone. Especially the white amber gives it a creamy drydown. Love it.
>>18241619Explorer is great, I haven’t tested Eris Energy but that bottle looks ghastly in that color. I would avoid Arab slop if you don’t want to get cancer.
Not a fan. I don't think I like this akigalawood shit in general. Much happier with Eau Intense Vetiver.
>>18241647I like it but got bored very quickly. Lots of compliments due to its high sillage though.
How is he so based bros?
>>18241683Bisch and Guichard for me
>>18241683I will not forgive him for creating the horror that is Le Beau. It’s a fragrance that makes the world a worse place to live simply by existing.
Le beau is all you need.Le beau edp for fall winterLe beau paradise garden for summer
>>18241683what's the fragrance where he used some bonafied estrogenic compounds?
I just got Spicebomb Extreme after blind ordering it after seeing everyone creaming themselves over how amazing it is, only to be thoroughly disappointed after trying it.I'm also waiting for Club de Nuit Intense Man, Sillage, Milestone, and Montblanc Explorer to arrive and I really fucking hope those are better...
Am I going noseblind or does this last only 2 hours before becoming a skinscent?
>>18241644CDNIM is made in France so it is bound by the same regulations as other perfumes.
>>18241787I want to believe that when it was first released it actually had the performance people talked about it having, but that was a long time ago, and it seems L’Oréal has reformulated it to dog shit. I’ve tested it with multiple people, the sillage is nonexistent and the frag lasts ~30 min or less before going skin scent. Really disappointing.
what’s a budget alternative to Le Labo’s cédrat 34?
>>18241790Can’t say that I had that experience with my sample, I went away from my desk to take out the trash one day while wearing it, and the scent certainly lingered around my desk when I came back. And it had been on my skin for something like 4 or 5 hours?
>>18241560call me a niche merchant but this shit has gone so hard this summer
>>18241804Did you put it on your clothes? I sprayed some down my shirt at the store and I could smell it on my undershirt days later. But on my skin it's dissipating in hours, or so it seems to my nose.
>>18241647>>18241649Interesting. I was curious about it.
>>18241560I want to enjoy this hobby more but I have chronic sinusitis. Anyone else have this problem? And if so how did you resolve it so you could enjoy fragrance again?
>be niche afficionado>read thousands the reviews and watch all the sub 10k niche channels>have curated collection of niche and vintage frags with artsy and offputting notes for the "seasoned noses">get sillagemogged by masstige- and designerbros wherever i go>never get compliments>even when i actively ask for feedback, people say they can't smell my perfume>on the rare occasions where they can, they say something weird like "hmm, you smell a bit, i don't know, dusty maybe?"i can't keep doing this bros. where do i go from here?
You can get a 200ml bottle of this for a pittance and it’s a classic. What’s your excuse for not becoming a Jooper trooper?

Maybe I've just got a particularly good batch though. Now I'm even more excited to try Sillage and Milestone.

>>18243949>>18243973I’m gonna be honest the patchouli in Zino is kind of a pleb filter. That fragrance really isn’t all that daring imo. But it definitely has to be dressed a little particularly and when I first smelled it I was a bit put off especially during the first 30 secondsIt is kind of interesting because it is a combination of the dirty sweet patchouli you might see in something pretty modern/edgy and popular oriental like a Memo African Leather but it also has this sorta dandy Habit Rouge floral fougere vibe with it.I might style it with something like pic related but I really have to be in the mood for it — and I reach for it a lot less than many of my other 50 or so fragrances. if you love oud wood you could save for oud wood parfumultimately I think there are better ouds at way better prices but I won’t pretend that oud wood smells bad
>>18244608I don’t really even feel that Oud Wood really is an oud fragrance despite its name, there’s so little synth-oud in it that it just feels more like generic woody something. That doesn’t make it bad, though.
>>18244398>>18244423I have to agree it’s certainly not mature, but I wouldn’t call it youthful either. I’d call it age agnostic made with a modern design.
>Sneed Aventus
>>18243494I think there are better iris options from each of those houses. Dior Homme Original or Parfum > Intense. Givenchy Gentleman Boisee > Reserve Prive. Prada L’Homme original or L’Eau > Intense. Idk about Valentino Uomo actually.>>18243533I really enjoy H24 EDP. I hear the other ones are just as good. It feels like the early 2000’s and futuristic at the same time, somehow.
>>18244629I agree, the synthetic oud is definitely tangible for me but it is mostly a woody amber thing.
>>18243553I would respect it if it was actually good. Anyone can make a new dogshit fragrance, doesn’t mean it deserves respect.
Would this pass for a man in winter?
Lörs on Versace Blue Jeans? It was gifted to me and I don't really know what season is right to wear this
>>18244705never smelled I’m too broke for these guerlains but generally cherry is my least favorite note in the world
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwlTBFEvG00Is she right?
>>18244735I’m not going to watch that full video but yes to eau sauvage edt, chanel pour monsieur habit rouge is a no from me honestlyfougere royale is for poser retardscaron pour un homme is good but not my favorite
>>18244705cherry oud was one of the more memorable ones from that line i recall. i dont think i'd pull it off but it's really nice
>>18244706I like it in spring, summer and autumn. good fragrance IMO
>>18244752What do you mean by pulling it off? I'm sorry I'm really a perfume noob all I have is encre noir, intelrude amouage and invasion barbare (which was a gift)
>>18244383curious to hear your impressions
>>18244383Hope you got CDNIM Limited Edition
>>18244755it's hard to explain. it's like some fashion articles look nice, but may not look nice on you or you're not able to pull it off, or you won't feel confident wearing it. it's a personal statement rather than a comment on the perfume itself
>>18244756Sillage is interesting, it's different from the real Silver Mountain Water I smelled yesterday, but I've heard that it's almost identical to the original version and that the new SMW has been reformulated to the point that it's very different now. The Fragrance Apprentice on YouTube said that>Sillage smells more like Silver Mountain Water, than Silver Mountain Water does now.And he worked for Creed so I can only assume that's the truth. I think I prefer the real one, even if it's technically "worse" than it used to be, but I don't know if I'm going to be rushing to buy a £250 bottle any time soon.I still like Sillage though, it's similar enough and has the weird uniqueness that SMW does.Milestone is nice, I think I like it more than Sillage since I love the watermelon note. I like fruity, more unisex type fragrances so it appeals to me a lot. I don't like frags like Spicebomb that are touted as being extremely masculine.
>>18244758No I just got the normal version, does it really matter that much?
about to blind buy NYIwhat am i in for lads?

>>18244800a good fragranceif you like Lalique Pour Homme, Bois du Portugal or Pour Monsieur EDP, it's a pretty safe buy anyway
>>18244841best one from the brand. you can find it for real cheap (50cent/ml) sometimes.
serge lutens be like total christcuck death eau de parfum
I have all kinds of expensive frags from Chanel etc but my girlfriend likes CDNIM the most lol. It's definitely not a meme.
>>18244862What about Pour Monsieur EDT?
>>18244954My GF likes following fragrances:1. Allure Homme Sport2. Bvlgari Aqua Marine3. Aventus/cdnim/eros energyMy GF is european, she doesn't like sweet gourmands.
>>18243261Bois du Portugal and Original Vetiver are the best Creeds, but they aren't worth owning either because they are so overpriced.
>AHS Idgi. Smells like overpriced Versace PH.
>>18244976Which is precisely why you should be buying Lalique puh instead. And why it's goated
>>18244825Dunno about the Arab one, but moustache EDP is an excellent one to impress the hoes come winter
I bought a few frags from Costco completely blind
>>18245069And they are....
This shit slaps harder than a 1950’s husband.
>>18245072Creed Aventus, Creed Orignal Vetiver, and Tom Ford Oud wood. They have a few other Creeds that I might blind buy later
>>18244509it literally smells like sweet af synthetic wood tf u on about
>>18244800a treat
Just received a sample of tdh edt, it's pretty mid. Was not surprised with H24 either. Currently waiting on caron pour un homme and Bentley silverlake.
>>18245145I’m not gonna shit on you for not liking something I like, but if you think TdH is mid, you either simply dislike the notes in the fragrance, or have irrationally high standards for fragrances.
When do you buy retail?
memes aside, what are youre thoughts?
>>18245167When I can’t get through any other method. >>18245177Memes aside, the bottle is gay af and I refuse to own any of them no matter if I like the fragrance or otherwise.
>>18245177I like the black version. The vanilla notes are awesome.>>18245179Insecure closet queer.
>>18245184>you don’t like something, in means you secretly like itTry harder
>>18245177>That bulge
>>18245177Safe and pleasant scent.
>>182450659PM is Ultra Male clone
>>18245177i've got a decent collection including like a dozen niche frags and i've still never smelled this one
>>18245214Damn son, you're aiming to get all them hoes, and on a budget. Keep at it playa.
>SOTD: Montblanc Explorer
>>18241911I can only wear this for solo anal play at home
>>18245232Based, maybe try Eros Energy too. Really good clone.
Friendship with Aventus DNA endedKouros DNA is my best friend now
>>18245305Sang bleu is Kouros but with Aventus nuances. Aventus is at the end a classic chypre, modernized with fruity pineapple.
>>18244973>she doesn't like sweet gourmands.Nobody does besides YouTube faggots and retards obsessed with being unique. There's a reason that just about every single mainstream fragrance is fresh, clean, fruity, aquatic, or soapy.
Is it true that women don't really like Aventus, and only men do?I've heard that they love Silver Mountain Water though which surprised me. I would have assumed the citrus of Aventus would appeal to women a lot, and the weird metallic inkyness of Silver Mountain Water would be off-putting.
>>18245308Interesting. Can you tell me more?I have Kourous Fraichur and it's a touch Aventus like because of the pineapple, very Chypre, and still has the projection/dirtiness of the original. It's a parfumcorp bottle.
>>18242350I got 50ml bottle of Gucci Pour Homme 3 months ago and I used half of it
New cop
>>18245322No one actually likes aventus, it's only popular with terminally online metrosexuals who've been psyoped by gayreed's marketing into believing a mild juice box is the end game of perfumery. LmfaoSOTD: supremacy incense
>>18245226it mogs your collection
>>18245372Second cop
>>18244968that too, but NYI is creamier, heavier and more vanilic, so more like the EDP
>>18245037yep. and Versace PH isn't even that good
>>18245323
>>18245372>>18245401Nice drawing.
>>18245322Women don't know what they want or like, don't bother worrying about them
>>18245177I like it, I don't use it that often though.
>>18245322Women will like whatever fragrance chad wears (as long as it's not an objectively terrible fragrance) so just wear whatever you like.
>>18245322>>18245510
>>18244774>SillageNich cool fresh opening, but the screechy musky dry down makes me nauseous.
Might have to bite the bullet and buy this at full retail
>>18245177I'm so in love with it I bought the 6oz bottle before my little bottle got down to his nipple-line. A few days ago I did my first overspray (like 10+) and just sat on my couch luxuriating in it. My girlfriend rubbed all over me like a cat in heat
>>18245400not falling for that shit again

NEW>>18245907>>18245907>>18245907
>>18245167Designer and masstige slop? Never. If you can’t find them on discounters like Chanel mean they’re doing artificial scarcity and their slop is way overpriced so not worth buying.
>>18245177I don't love it. I think it's too in-your-face sweet and sticks to everything.
