Update: I have a BMI of 17.1 now. I'll be fasting today and tomorrow, and also do a bit more cardio than usual, in the hopes of being exactly BMI 17 or less at least by the end of Halloween. Btw I also don't think fasting is good for your body and you should always expect some regain after it, so personally I won't do it, I find it unnecessary. I'll go slow and steady and reach bmi 16 some day but I don't set deadlines for myself.

My psychologist told me it's not about "forgetting" about your obsessions because that's impossible: it's about replacing that addiction and obsession with another one. This is a fashion board, and clothes simply look best on very skinny people. There’s a reason all runway models are rail thin. It means the companies sell more clothes using them, because the clothes look better on them.

Being skinny also signals restraint in a gluttonous society. In America, around 40% of adults are considered obese. Being a part of the few percent that is visibly underweight sets you apart, and it’s not as much of a detriment in a world where people people simply don’t work physical labor jobs, and where firearms offer adequate protection from potential threats.

I’m not saying that a more muscular build isn’t more inherently attractive to women, especially when you remove fashion and clothes from the equation, which only accounts for a small bit anyways. Women generally want a guy with more mass. But skinny guys can operate within their own niche. Maybe ten percent or less of women would want a skinny guy, but if you’re a good looking skinny guy, you’re in high demand within that circle.

Plus, it just outright feels good to be lightweight. I enjoy it personally, not having mass weight me down, being able to move like a tall cat. And I t’s never stopped me from doing anything I want. I have absolutely nothing against big dudes, I actually super respect their grind and how much work that takes. I go out of my way to give props to my friends who build muscle. well, it was the fasting but also a lot of stress from my dad dying

both my grandparents and mother have stomach problems so i guess it was a matter of time, used to only eat at night and just smoke and drink water the rest of the day; my dad died and i started to have horrible cramps and stomach ache that wouldn’t let me do anything, so yeah had to get back to eating every few hours and some months of antibiotics and antiacids, im fine now though and i still fast but no longer than 8 hours, i just count calories and stay below my caloric needs to stay thin and honestly, i feel a lot better, with omad i felt like shit most of the time and i felt shedding weight was a lot more difficult because my metabolism was just fucked, it moved at a snails pace, now i can shed a couple of pounds in a day


im not saying omad is bad for you or youll get problems from it but its not the best option for everyone and you should seek the one who works best for you, i read somewhere omad and fasting works for really fat people but its kind of ineffective for thin people who want to stay thin, it just crashes your metabolism and now your body will start turning everything into fat and storage it, which is obviously a problem; a well thought diet is obviously superior

And not to be a dickhead but I live in a cold place where the average diet consists of burgers covered in butter, bratwursts, whipped cream on pastries, deep fried cheese curds, beer, pecan pie, “sloppy joes”, and milk. It’s a place where literally most adults are overweight. Some of you probably know exactly where I live based on the diet I described.

But the point is, try not to blame the place you are from too much. And I don’t mean to offend at all. In fact, you are literally are correct. Certain places have a culture where people just overeat and get fat, and have poor diets, I can relate. That shit really does have an affect on you, just like all other aspects of that culture (drinking, etiquette, fashion, etc) will. But at the end of the day, you are the one who has the power to put the onus on yourself and lose the weight. Individuals shape the culture. And in a fat society, you have an even greater incentive for getting skinny. You’ll really stand out, and in a good way. Plus, fat cultures have a different bar for “skinny”, so even if you make it to a normal body fat, you will still stand out as healthy.

People also fucking love an underdog story and the few stretch marks/skin folds you may have will only serve as battle scars which are far less unsightly than skin packed with useless fat.

I used to be 133kg, I'm also from a cold country where we eat a fuckton of bread and potatoes and meats, it's so easy to overindulgde on bread it's insane. I'm on 100kg right now, started losing weight since july and I'm still going at it, a bmi calculator says 90kg is a healthy weight for my height as a male but I want to get to around 75kg which is 18bmi for my height, yes I do have stretch marks but luckily no loose skin at all which makes me really happy, the stretch marks don't matter to me, the high you will feel will make you way too happy to care about stretch marks. I feel like a new person and look like a new person too. You can worry about all that with doctors after you've achieved your peak as a person. That money you'll have to spend or those doctors you'll have to talk about to get it removed will mean nothing to you anymore once you look like a beautiful person.

I'll need to eat 1000kcal until Christmas.
I was planning to eat as healthy as possible to minimize the chances of any health problems including acne: frozen vegetable mixes with chicken/ oatmeal with fruit and raisins/ lentils with tomato sauce/Muesli with oatmilk.
Each of the meals is roughly sized at 500kcal.
Sugarless Tea or water for drinks.
I'm also taking basic vitamins to counteract the fatigue.

What I meant is how much of a difference it makes looks-wise. I currently have a BMI of 16.2, and losing 3 kg would put me at a BMI of 15.1. Before and after pictures usually feature fat people in the before pic, so I'm wondering what a weight loss of 3 kg looks like on a thin body.

anybody else using adderall to avoid eating?

i tried cigs and they kinda worked, but now im addicted to nicotine and my skin looks worse.

also have tried calorie restricting again, but more recently its become a lot harder to stay consistent with. im guessing its because im not a teenager anymore (though i am only 21) and its harder to lose weight.

i took some of my bfs (im a fag) 15mg adderall xr pulls the day before last (took 3 in total) and had like 1/3rd of a sandwich, after that i didnt even want to eat for the rest of the day. every time i thought about eating something it seemed unappealing, and i had no hunger pains either. i was also incredibly euphoric for a good few hours which was fucking amazing and it continued into work which was great.

unfortunately, the side effects were rough. i was super hyper and when the meds started wearing off i started feeling horrible (nauseous, tired, sweat a lot). i also wasnt able to sleep until 1pm the next day.

i took one of the pills yesterday around 6:30pm and things were slightly different. i didnt feel euphoric, i felt alright for the most part. i took my lexapro and then the adderall with a monster (lol) and a few minutes later started eating a poptart but only got a bit over halfway through with one before tossing it. after that i had no hunger again all day, same deal with food seeming unappealing. i was productive at work, but when the meds wore off i became incredibly sad. i felt like shit and after messing up something at work i couldnt stop thinking about killing myself. it was rough. also it is 7:30 the following morning and i cant sleep still.

all this to say, have any anons used lexapro to avoid eating? is it something thats viable long term? im considering getting a prescription for it so i can drop 20-30lbs (im 6'1 and 165lbs atm) but idk if its a good idea with the side effects i experienced and because i take lexapro already.

sorry for the long post, i just wanted to be moderately thorough.
