Scratched my arm and it stills smells like Beyond Paradise Men on the skin, if only slightly, but still admirable after 16+ hours; soapy fruity floral. I don't get fragrances.I like my own scent. If I don't feel any scent, I also like it.When I try to wear any smelly water, it feels nauseating. And if my own scent isn't good, that extra stinkiness doesn't really hide how I smell, it just layers up.Why fragrances are a thing?

>>18306199Interesting
I always get myself wondering whether I should wear fragrances for myself or "for others", I like some people pleasers like Pure Malt and Bentley Intense, but I find things like Fahrenheit and PR Pour Homme more interesting and unique. Maybe on a daily basis I should wear what I like and have a club people pleaser?
Today I covered my courtains with 10 - 15 sprays of kouros, it's a good fragrance in my opinion. The opening is a bit funky but lasts only a couple of minutes, after that it's just a little bit sweet and I find it pleasing and relaxing, nothing too cloying. Smells even better on my skin. I like it. Also, I went to the mall today after work and checked BDC parfum and the edp. The parfum is smoother and lasts more than the edp, thinking about copping that one but will try several other lines from Chanel as well. Egoiste is next, after that Allure homme.

Boss Bottled Elixir/Absolu is insanely popular this year. Smell it pretty much on a daily basis in my city in the past few months.Funny thing is I didn't know what it was until I tested them myself, and I said, OH so this is what I've been smelling all over the place. They're both warm spicy vanilla fragrances, and the longevity is crazy, it stayed on my shirt cuff for over a week, but I just don't want to wear the same thing as hundreds or thousands of other men in my city.

Clones next year are going to be absolutely perfect. The tech is next level, theyre literally using spectrometers to reverse engineer original fragrances and making them exact. Why are you still buying the real thing like a sucker? My most complimented fragrance is my LNDL clone by lattafa.
why are there so many repetitive ads in these threads, like this one >>18306521 or the EN guy saying, "you don’t need more" at the top of every thread?jannies should delete those. or are they on the payroll too?seems like if someone mentions a random fragrance enough times, it can push the next 10-20 threads into a meme discussion about it. this is even bigger ad that people end up participating in. pretty retarded tiktok marketing jew schemethen random anons post how they got trolled into buying EN or CW. surely there are more who got baited, they just dont want to post about itstop it

Flash reviews:Maison Margiela From the garden: nice fresh green opening that is reminiscent of tomato leaves. Herbal, with a tinge of sweetness. in the dry down though, it smells mostly like flower by kenzo: medicinal, cloying and overly sweet. and almost scratchy. For the price there are probably better frags that fill this niche. Acqua di Parma Colonia Oud: pretty nice oud scent. decent sillage and longevity. overpriced.JPG Ultra Male: Disgustingly sweet, disgustingly sensual. I love it. not for old farts. Detour Noir: still undecided on this one, the opening wasn't convincing, but the dry down was intoxicating. Will report back. Sauvage elixir: It just smells scratchy and nothing more. in the dry down it becomes almost tolerable. almost. no, no and no.

Noir Extreme Parfum or Spicebomb Extreme?
Moth>Spicy aromatic opening. Smells very samey to some of the more oriental-leaning Zoologists>Florals start to crop up but really not getting anything groundbreaking >Smooth, sure, and a little dirty with the musk and oud, but I'm not moved much by it>gets worse as it dries, has a somewhat musty odor of pickling spices>I guess musty is the point given the houseDragonfly>Beautiful rich and fresh opening>Fresh aquatic with supporting florals>Also not particularly groundbreaking>Richer and more complex than your typical designer freshy offering but if you sample this you'll just feel like you've smelt it before>Has a damp mossy undercurrent which is definitely appealing>Better than Seahorse (unless you like smelling like a clean fish tank) if you want an aquatic from Zoologist but at $265 a bottle you can get the same type of scent for far less
Scrubbed Moth.Koala>Very interesting off the bat with a mix of very fresh bright greens with smokey incense>Eucalyptus is a star but is nicely balanced with the darker spices and black tea>One of the better scents from them that I've smelt so far, smells more fresh-jungly compared to the other darker, more exotic jungly scent's of theirs.>The freshness of the greens is markedly short-lived and it morphs into a musky incense>Not bad but I'm getting tired of the Zoologist incense accord>Still smells dynamic and you'll pick up a different accord with each sniff>Incense is still very dominant>Inoffensive, not particularly daring, and the most interesting and appealing aspect to it quickly disappears

>>18308255>>18308258Pretty vile stuff
>>18308255>>18308258I have to give Imaginary Authors a little more credit than I have in the past. I’ve compared ELDO, Zoologist, and Imaginary Authors saying how ELDO generally has the most successful scents but also some of the biggest flops because they’re more experimental than others, but they don’t really have good marketing. Conversely Zoologist has the best marketing due to the animal themed fragrances and imaginative visual element, but with only a few good fragrances and mostly mid to bad filler. This left Imaginary Authors with marketing that’s second to Zoologist and fragrances that are mostly mid, but after getting my hands on their sample set I have to correct myself that their marketing isn’t worse than Zoologist, it’s merely different. Zoologist is visual, Imaginary Authors is textual, which frankly makes sense. It could be argued that’s at a bit of a disadvantage in our fast paced, modern day society where books are mostly out of style, but if you take the time to read what they offer it’s well composed and even a bit convincing. As for their fragrances, I’ll make a more informed decision after I’ve sampled the full body.
>>18308178/stinks/after an hour on little paper strips>EN Sportluxury all-inclusive resort bug spray. very nice, easily wearable>Insurrection II WildDead ringer for an unusual cherry distillate cart I had in 2019 and forgot until now. yummy huffer>Ambergris Showersweirdest of the lot. gets increasingly better as time continues on. starts grassy and ends up green maté leather>Reyane R2B2 Interstellar samplecame with the Insurrection, smells like antiperspirant. but huffing it and ENS at the same time really reminds me of the Burberry Brit Rhythm magazine sample strip I huffed as a gayass teenager and dreamt about smelling a european man...
>>18308287I initially detested EN Sport but I've grown to like it. Nice in moderate weather, I wouldn't wear it in the height of summer despite the Sport designation. Ambergris Showers is one I haven't come around to, despite loving maté. Not sure what it is, maybe the galbanum.
>>18308291it's funny that I'd rank em I2W>ENS>AS in terms of pleasing smells, but what matches with what I see in the mirror is the reverse order. aesthetic over 'compliment hunting' anyday I guess.
The only fragrances I have are Sauvage and Tom Ford Noir Extreme, i've received a few comments about smelling nice before, but I don't really think the fragrances match my personality. Are there any fragrances that smell like a baker/croissants/something sweet? Or is it that something only girls are allowed to smell like.
>>18308310The L'Homme Ideal line is worth checking out if you like marzipan/amaretto.
>>18308256Can't defeat 20 sprays of Cool Water. Best watery fougere ever.

almost got baited into buying this in the other thread. fuck i still might since it costs less than most samples i buy. reviews of it are hilarious.
>>18308343>named pine>bottle shaped like pine cone>does not remotely smell like pine>you now smell like an italian breadstickwhat did they mean by this
>>18308310Dipped in ChocolateA Whiff of Waffleconei think Akro also has some frags in your ballpark>Or is it that something only girls are allowed to smell like.who the fuck cares, you can do what you want
>>18308322>>18308362thanks!
>>18308343Looks like a sex toy.
>>18308035Yea the bottle is lacking but the smell is good for me. Imagine a smoker that got drenched with fresh grapefruit juice.
The only fragrance I've ever received multiple random compliments on is CDNIM EDT
Its blind buy time. Spicebomb Extreme or Noir Extreme Parfum?
i really want to try this
>>18308397neitherGeo.F.Trumper Havana Cologne
>>18308397Current Spicebomb Extreme has performance of an aftershave and the other choice is Tom Ford.
>>18308401Damn. That sucks. Guess I’ll just kill myselfSotd lalique pour homme
>>18308402Get that Boss Bottled Elixir if you want to smell like an Arab

>>18308398It's crap. Smells of rose, iso e super and a bit of tobacco. Try before you buy.

sotd: avignon, layered with my body odor (i have not bathed since last weekend)
>>18308401Are One Million Elixir or JPG Elixir any better?
>>18308419And very expensive to boot. No Ormonde Jayne fragrance is blind buy safe.
How is Egoiste not talked about more? One of the best fragrances of all time.
>>18308436If you’re speaking strictly about longevity, I cannot answer regarding One Million. Le Male wasn’t bad as I recall, but it doesn’t live up to the Elixir title either, just standard performance.
>>18308464Right. Well, I guess I'll just keep using Sauvage Elixir as my longevity performer.
>>18308465>Sauvage Elixirit's good, gl;hf
>>18308458finally another anon who gets itsame is true for Platinum Egoiste
>>18308432>aromatic, spicy
>>18308255LOOKETH, THE RETURN OF THE GOTHROCKFAG
>Le Male Pride 2024 Eau de Toilette>A fragrance for everyone, celebrating diversity, perseverance and equality! As we all deserve to be celebrated as we are. Le Male PRIDE was born of the commitment of Jean Paul Gaultier and the NYC LGBT COMMUNITY CENTER, united for a world where everyone can be their true selves. This year, the spotlight is on Keith Haring, author of the famous Once Upon a Time fresco adorning The Center's toilets. A powerful artistic gesture created to mark the 20th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, the starting point of the gay liberation and LGBTQIA+ rights movement in the United States. For this special edition, both bottle and can feature broad black and white strokes - the artist's signature - expressing the beauty of the human body. Their lingering scent proclaims one thing only... complete freedom to love.
>>18308255>>18308258I buy their sample set and literally less than a week later they announce a new line. Not sure whether I’m more excited or irritated.
>>18308479Not the Gothrock Anon, just someone who also likes Beaufort London. We have/had similar tastes, but he was a sassy bitch that couldn’t handle the bants.
>>18308480Pretty based
>>18308398It's great, smells like a man in a nice suit, but doesn't stand out much, a bit anonymous, it's not trying to be quirky, it's just nice and high quality. I'd probably use as signature scent if it wasn't so expensive.Intensivo feels a bit more light and airy than the regular from what I remember.
>>18308398>masstige trashOrmonde makes PdM look like an honest heritage company.
>>18308480If they only release some watery fougere or stuff like Drakkar Noir, i would celebrate my weak point for bussy.
I like this. It smells natural.
Sauvage edp is dryer sheet city, but in a good way
>>18308563Sauvage is the Antaeus of the 21st century
Is it worth having Antaeus if I already have Kouros?
>>18308571Kouros is not worth having
>>18308482>gape wrath
>>18307254>>but im not attractive uwu>Fuck off, either this is bait or youre retardedNot going to post a pic but my face literally looks like a WW2 German anti Russian propaganda poster. Picture a slav with a buzz cut and you've got me. I can assure you that there's no way in hell I look hot.
I love Demi Rawling's reviews. She seems very knowledgeable yet humble and the scenes with her boyfriend are very endearing. They make a wonderful couple.
>>18307339Still making you seeth. >>18307659Leau boise is similar to tdh. I like it better than homme but homme is good too.
>>18308480>(((New York)))Every time
I’ve only enter a /frag/ thread twice, once to discover some scent I’d like to try before inheriting a bunch of scents anyways, and the other time I saw that there was a pretty extensive system of scent matching, ways to recreate an expensive perfume with less expensive ones, the woman I love likes a pretty expensive perfume, we talked about downsizing for some personal reasons, I still wanna buy her the expensive one but want to also try to recreate it too, so how do I recites miss Dior?
Sotd Pino Alpestre
SOTD Tauer L'air du desert marocain.I get more compliments from black chicks when I wear this than I do nearly all of my other fragrances combined. I have no idea what makes them like it so much. Mind you, I'm not complaining.
>>18308713it's probably the coriander + other spices
>>18308713Black, asian and brown women love heavy, sweet, gourmand stuff.
>>18308480based, the bottle is beautiful + it makes insecure faggots seethe (no pun intended)would cop if the frag is any similar to Fleur du Mâle
>>18308728>Black, asian and brown women love heavy, sweet, gourmand stuff. They also seem to really go for any animalic fragrance that I own. I've gotten compliments wearing Bergamask, Kouros, Carnicure, and Musc Ravageur.
>>18308398I purchased a fullsize of the Cuba flanker and it's wonderful. SOTD: Fahrenheit Parfum; Violet leaf+Vetiver+Rum
>>18308735I like to attract pic related with aquatic fougeres
>>18308755Good for you bro, we've achieved a sort of fragrant symmetry: You're brown and using clean frags to attract white women, I'm white and using dirty frags to attract brown women. As soon as I can figure out what counts as a pantry dropper for Indian women I'll be set.
Most sweet but also tempting female/unisex fragrance?I want to smell like candies and bitch in heat at once.
>>18308728>>18308755Fragrance to attract women like this?
>>18308774
Do i blind buy it? Tell me right now
>>18308791the answer is always yes
>>18308782Green Irish Tweed
>>18308791Got a sample, was great, lasted around 12 hours on my skin. Bought the bottle, lasts 2 hours, no sillage. Could have been a bad batch.
>>18308807>t. noselet
>>18308806obviously needs time to mature
>>18308806What's good about it, there isn't much on YT. I figure it's a greener Aventus. It has a high concentration of oils which I like
>>18308819>there's rosemary, lavender, basil in the note pyramid
SOTD: Le Cri by Parfums d'Empire
>>18308827>lavender>literal cornerstone of English and French perfumery>Huuuuurrrrrrr it's for mutts hhhuuuuuuuurrrrrrWhy are faggots like this?
>>18308838It's for the based, not for a specific race. Calm down, lel.
don't reply to the coomer mutt
>>18308845how are you bro?
Verdict on this??
Is Mitsouko EDP a safe blind buy as a gift for a +50-year-old woman who usually doesn't wear fragrances? If not, what frag would you recommend?
>>18308861Don't gift fragrances to a old person that doesn't like wearing fragrances
>>18308861Shalimar is more of a safe one I think. Mitsouko is gorgeous though. I don't think any perfume is a safe gift for someone who doesn't like perfume though
>>18308791If you like Explorer and CDNIM but want a better, more natural smelling version then yes
Idk shit about perfumes I'm just here to tell that whatever you choose to put on it shouldn't be perceivable unless I lean in to smell you. There's nothing as bad as a person with a strong ass fragrance sitting next to you on public transport, entering your car or even staying in the same room, it should be treated exactly as being stinky or loud, a complete lack of respect and awareness of public space and a blatant lack of taste and sensibility
>>18308902t. noselet
>>18308902my body, my choice :^)
>>18308791no, it disappears after an hour, get 7 cobalt instead - smells like a mix between Y EDP and Profumo but better than both
Frags for this feel?
got baited by zoomers to buy this, opening is very nice, dry down smells like minty toothpaste
going to nordstrom today, best tom ford fragrances?

>>18306480no one will ever be able to convince me that Jeremy is any less than 3% cocaine by volume.
>>18309027Do Americans even? I literally wrote "enters your car" in the same fucking sentence, it doesn't mean that i don't have a car if I occasionally use public transport. Ameritard traincels be seething
>>18309272yeah yeah. I bet you don't actually have a car though. I have 2. a c36 amg and a yukon. and they both smell like hacivat.
