I touched the Seiko, now what?
what about grand Seiko? I want one of these bastards so badly
>>18597834>That seconds hand misalignment. Can't believe this is worth 6k €.
>>18597842It's actually worth like 3K secondary.
Stop making watch and fragrance threads!
>>18597834For a sixth of that price you can get something that isn't really far off. SBTM337
>>18597842>misalignment Wth are you talking about?
Should I buy a Rolex sub date? I got the call
>>18598313If you have to ask that question then....
>>18598150yea nah, anon... this ain't it.
sorry >>18598150 my reply was harsh I do like that Seiko but it really isn't in the same league. there is an elegance to the GS that pushes it over the edge. I'm also not a fan of the 39.5mm. I find the 37mm to be much more elegant. I'm also just completely set on the GS.
>>18598493No biggie, i just wanted you to know of an alternative. When you're buying a watch it is wise to look around and see what else you can get for that money. If you're set on a GS then nothing but GS will do. Good luck.

>>18596990Missed opportunity from Rolex by denying the use of their watch in the movie.
>>18598601>>18598609Thanks for the input lads. I'm very good at not spending money on trinkets but I've got the spare cash set aside to graduate from my old beater Seiko to a big boy watch. All I know for certain is I want a sports watch with a fixed bezel that's gonna last me for decades to come.
>>18597834Get a UFA, there's a white dial and a nether portal dial. (37mm)
>>18597834I like this one but it's too big and I don't like the titanium (feels too light). I also prefer the Seiko + GS double logo adds a good balance to the bottom section of the dial.
>>18598710oh look, an explorer.Original.
NEW THREAD>>18598714>>18598714>>18598714>>18598714
>>18598710The oyster bracelet looks so ugly. It's like they pulled it off an assembly-line halfway through production and put it on the watch. The president bracelet is the only one that looks good.
>>18598717Kys threadsplitting sage announcing nigger
>>18598710Clean up the dial, indicies, and hands. What you're left with is a perfect watch, but it would lose all of its Rolex design elements so they'll never do it.
>>18598721Not to be that guy, but the oyster was originally designed for durability, not luxury.
>>18598708>nether portalThey didn't call the dial that, did they?Also it's not 9F.
>>18598721For me its the rolex oyster bracelet over the jubilee.
>>18598721Male end links are literally impossible to make look good.
>>18598775Jubilee is shit, it only lasts a few years.
I've downloaded a watch
>>18599022Kofe time
>>18598966what happens to it after a few years?
>>18598691unlike now, the majority of Rolex wearers were not sociopaths back then
ROLEX = SEX = ROLSEX
Best watch for maintaining a youthful appearance?
>>18599513
>>18596990ID on this?
>>18599550Invicta
bought a seiko SNE573 feelsgoodman.mp3
>>18598313buy it and flip itits free money
>>18599681Yeah, gatekeep the watch from some poor kid who actually likes it.
>>18599874>gatekeep the watch...so, do what rolex does?
>>18600091I don't want to be like them, or like the lifestyle they advertise, or like the people I know who wear their watches (all social-media havers). If some r/watches teen has been waiting for the watch and he can't get it because of you, that's pretty sad.
>>18600116what kind of watch advertises the kind of lifestyle you like, any specific brands?
>>18600127I think you missed my point. I don't want to be sold a lifestyle. I have a life that organically exists, it doesn't need a qualitatively defined "lifestyle." Having a "lifestyle" is fucking cringe. I don't like any lifestyle advertising. The watches I like most don't even have photos of people on their websites, but rather only photos of watches and their movements. The more technical details about the product, the better.
>>18596990Replacement/alternatives for the SNXJ90 since it's hard to get your hands on one (and they are all used)?
