Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per lb of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

Good advice, but why doesn't it work to just do the thing you want to do? Why won't I get stronger without changing things up? Also I used to round out the sets with assisted pull ups but then I moved and my new gym doesn't have that equipment.

I’m 28 and I get spergy with women, I keep to myself and am usually pretty quiet, these days I only leave the house to fish or drive for doordash both are things I only do alone. Ages 18-23 I was in college and desperately wanted a typical college experience to make up for what I missed out on in highschool but I was at community college. Managed to form a circle despite me being like this, and because of that I was able to stumble into pussy a few times. Even fucked one of the women I met years later at age 26. I’ve had others who I met back then hmu and want to fuck.


Now I’m in the same boat. But I know what the answer is. Socialize. But that’s like telling a depressed person to just be happy.
I meet plenty of people while fishing who always want to hang with me. I know through them I could network and meet others if I wasn’t so socially avoidant and anxious, get a whole new roster so to speak.
I have some friends I reconnected with for gaming recently and have been added to their other friends discord and there’s some girls in it. But they sound highly autistic. One is cool but ugly cute and in a relationship. But if I could just get my old confidence back I could hang with these people, network, and viola have a couple circles again with some women I’d possibly inevitably end up dating or hooking up with.


I guess my advice: find something you enjoy doing that isn’t indoors, do it just because it makes you happy so even a bad day doing it is better than a normal day at the office. Eventually you should meet friends, and via those friends other friends, and eventually women.

I've been lifting for a year and I can count on one hand the amount of people I've seen repping over 2 plates on bench, but everyone on here acts like 2 plates is some baby dyel lift. You also dont know how many of these people are on PEDs and just looking at someone isnt a way to tell - most dudes on roids do not have insane physiques because it turns out even with roids being able to actually consistently train with intensity is really hard and most people can't or won't do it.

So basically just focus on yourself, focus on how much more you lifted this month than last month as opposed to how much some other dude is lifting. Lifting at all already puts you above 70-80% of men who dont exercise. Comparing yourself to top outliers is a great way to feel like shit all the time.

If you are falling over during squats it either means you lack the ankle or hip mobility to perform the movement. So I'd work on that for now. You can perform the movement with heel support to skip that but you should really be able to back squat raw without supports.
There's no db movement that can ""'completely""" replace a barbell squat, but leg press, hack squat, Bulgarian split squats or even a goblet squat is probably the best alternative.
Look up Alan Thrall deadlift to get the form for deadlift down. You shouldn't really be doing conventional deadlifts anyway if your goal is hypertrophy, RDLs are superior. A dB RDL is an probably the best replacement for a barbell RDL.
The dumbbells have to be heavy enough obviously.

One bowl (390g) is 380 calories by itself, with 11g of saturated fat, 1610mg of sodium, 55mg of cholesterol, 6g of fiber, and 22g of protein. Is the calorie to protein ratio good? Yes, very much. You'll find you get away with less as you get closer to your goal weight, but you just make the adjustments and keep going. Exactly ten days since I started my new fitness regime and I'm down almost 6kg. I know that's gonna be mostly water weight but it still feels good, I can notice a difference on my waist/chest already and my neck measurement is half an inch narrower too.

Hoping to up my daily exercise once I get under 100kg, gonna start doing HIIT alongside the hour I'm on the bike and very basic dumbbell training I'm doing. Don't think it's possible to build much muscle when I'm on an heavy weight loss diet (1000 cal daily) but hoping to at least preserve what I have reasonably well and speed up my metabolism along the way.

I clearly didnt build almost any muscle when I had a really deep deficit going on, when I upped my calories by 500 a day my weight loss stalled completely but my lifts kept going up. Really annoying.

If you're a terminal gooner spending an hour a day fapping when you could be getting in exercise and otherwise having your addiction mess with your mental wellbeing so it's harder for you to diet then yeah.

But cranking one out when you feel the need isn't going to do anything to hurt your weight loss. Hell, if it helps keep you happy so you can stay committed to your plan and not let depression/anxiety/whatever throw you off then it's an aid.

Just mapped together and combined my weight reports from the last 14 years or so.
I am 6'5 and I was definitely a stick at 85kg. Aiming at 95 or so, at least this last time it was way less of a mountain and gained it more slowly, so I guess thats progress.

Has your skin tightened up at all during maintenance? I know my only choice is probably to get it cut off, but one can hope.

Not much, honestly. 5g of collagen a day can easily be reached with very little skin consumption. Pork rinds, for instance, can get you there with only 14g. Chicken skin is very similar. That's what's great about the skin route, it's much more efficient and you don't have to blow a ton on buying expensive supplements if your diet can easily take care of it. The exact amount for chicken skin is about the same as pork rinds.
