I think my problem is that my setup includes wedging in a lot, so on warm-ups until around 3pl8 or so the bar floats before I make shin contact and the pull even begins. When that stops happening the bar sometimes floats too much in front of me / hips are too high.

Just more deadlifting and reworking my entire setup?

Yesterday's Birthday deload pull.
I legit failed 3 red pl8s sumo because of fatigue ( 2 max effort leg days before this), so decided to rotate and do a 500 hack squat, which I haven't done since January I think. Faitgue was crazy yesterday, I failed a 110kg bench too. I feel I could pull more weight with this meme variation than with sumo haha, but I won't do it again, it's kinda useless for my current goals.

Every time I squat heavy my right adductor gets hurt, not too bad but it needs a few days, up to a week to heal and hurts like hell when I foam roll it.

the preposterously fat guys hit a huge overhead and a modest deadlift then never finish the remaining majority of events. Leaner guys actually perform better at every level, much moreso than SHW powerlifting. It's pretty well known too that powerlifters tend not to do well in strongman when they come over because they don't have the cardio or conditioning.
