>Who is /fat/ for?
For Massive Munchers who are working towards a longer life and a better physique through meaningful hard-work, strategy, and dedication. This is not QTDDTOT, stick to questions on fat loss. Post height and weight when asking for advice.
Join our Fatty Contest: https://www.fattycontest.com/

>What do I do first?
1. Read https://physiqonomics.com/fat-loss/
2. Calculate your Body Fat Percentage: https://fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy
3. Calculate your TDEE: https://www.sailrabbit.com/bmr/
Remember to use bodyfat% and use Katch-McArdle Formula with sedentary settings or your TDEE will be too high.
4. Plan your weight loss: https://www.losertown.org/eats/cal.php
5. Track your nutrition with MyFitnessPal (better for packaged food), Cronometer (better for generic food/macros) or LoseIt (great for both).

>Now what?
Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per pound of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy diseased heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and lose fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body eating away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.
Read the /fit/ sticky: https://liamrosen.com/fitness.html

>DON'T
Eat refined sugars, they're terrible for you regardless of carbohydrates.
Eat processed foods.
Drink your carbohydrates(alcohol, soda, Starbucks).
Freak out over a weight loss stall. Plateaus can last up to three weeks.
"Reward" yourself. Cheat days cheat only yourself.

I've finally started using 10kg dumbbells for my workouts. Well, except for lateral raises where I'm still at 8kg.
This takes me out of the "laughable" zone and comfortably into "beginner" territory.

Maybe 2017? Its funny I was fatter then, but still got laid. Since I started coming here and losing weight and getting fitter I get nothing. Nofap for 9 day streaks + get planet fitness membership. It works. By day 6-9 you're horny to the point you actively seek out interacting with real girls, and planet fitness has dozens of lower income but still cute girls. Once you pick up enough signals from a girl you make eye contact. Sometimes you get a hit of adrenaline from their attention.

If you fail to hook up with anyone at least be happy with the interest you get and reset by having a good fap, then repeat. It helps to look like you lift at least a bit.
>>
Do you guys have days where you purposely fast so you can get a good weigh in or do you just let the fluctuations even themselves out over time?

I just ride the fluctuations. Part of the reward for discipline is the appreciation of delayed gratification.

209 as of this morning. A few more lbs until I'm out of 'obese' bmi, but also officially marks 50lbs below my heaviest. This is further than I've gotten in years, and I feel like the way I've been eating is sustainable once I reach my goal. Truly, snacking and sugary drinks were my real enemy all these years.
I still feel like I look like a fat piece of shit, because I am, but changes are noticeable now. Pretty excited for the future.

Absolutely. Before I started on it I had a 6pack, benched 245 x6, just looked really good in general and regularly played my favorite sport. There are a gazzillion that could cause back pain, so it's literally impossible to know.
Things that you could try are:
>building muscle

>change your sleep position
>change your posture
>do more exercise if you spend too much time hunched over a keyboard

Well, it's been a month, and my lowest went from 149.9 to 146.5. Really disappointing. While there were definitely days I ate at maintenance (thanks Canadian Thanksgiving) or was sick, I still exercised for 2 hours every single day and had a lot of days where I followed my 1300 calorie deficit. I was losing weight at a rate of ~11 lbs a month, so less than 1/3 of that is frustrating. I should have been 143 lbs 12 days ago. I think that it must be a plateau, but at 4 weeks, it's my longest yet.

I expect that unless I fast for a week or start intermittent fasting, it'll probably be within the first couple weeks of December that I hit my weight goal of 124.9 lbs, but I'm more worried than ever of being in another plateau and having to wait weeks to over a month see if I reached my goal.

all female attention is good attention anon. if you talk about fitness and weight loss, theyll offer support and encouragement (if theyre good people). make it your personality. talk about how youre on a diet. talk about how youre tired from running last night. eat the healthiest food you can get your hands on, and make sure they see it. bring a 2 litre jug of water to work and drink from it regularly. wear a sports watch e.g. garmin. it doesnt matter if youre fat as fuck, if they see youre making an effort, theyll respect you. be so righteous in your pursuit of weight loss that anyone who talks shit about you will be seen as a piece of shit by the others. play the game, anon, and win

800 calories over TDEE, according to top /fat/ experts, are not enough to make you gain weight unless you're on a low-calorie diet, in which case you need to be 1,000+ calories under TDEE or you'll gain weight. It's quite fascinating.

Honestly speaking, the only meal I would consider "huge" for being 800 kcal would be popcorn or something.
Or maybe a pasta or potato dish that's completely devoid of any meat.
I'm more of a 1000~1200 kcal for a full meal guy, so I changed to mostly having a one full meal per day.

I found a bag of cocaine on the floor on the way to work yesterday. It wasn't much, enough for 3 or 4 decent sized lines.

I picked it up immediately after finding it, I went to the work bathroom to sniff it to see if it smelled like cocaine (it did), then I stashed it in a hiding spot to collect it after work finished.

I went home and sniffed it. Feel remorseful because I'm rehabilitation myself from drugs and alcohol at the moment. Thankfully I didnt drink which is my biggest addiction. Nevertheless I feel it may set me back as in the past when I did cocaine it would make me crave food heavily the next days

I didnt eat last night while on it so the goal today is to go for a jog, eat healthy, dont overeat and dont continue cocaine use

The gods were really pushing me with that one. The previous drug of choice before I went sober appeared in front of me... I wasnt strong enough to trash it. I do have the power to not continue using though. Exercise and diet today

this motherfucker can distinguish one white powder drug from another just by smell (no mention whatsoever of quality, implying zero standards), and is seriously considering snorting this shit, yet considers himself healthy because he hasn't been gulping down slop for a couple of weeks
>>
>>75331700
bro its cocaine not cyanide.

Drinking alcohol regularly is worse for you. I partied in my 20s at university I know what cocaine smells like, and yeah some people might struggle with junk food addiction (I struggle but not too bad, im 15 percent bodyfat) but for me if I see free cocaine on the floor thats fell out of someones pocket Im gunna struggle with that over a mcdonalds or whatever other people struggle with.
>>
>>75331709
Next bag you find might have traces of fentanyl, better snort that too.
>>
>>75331715
fentanyl isnt a thing in the UK as far as im aware. Cocaine is extremely popular on saturday nights its clearly just fell out of someones pocket. It was a risk to pick it up off the floor and sniff it that was dumb but it smelled like cocaine so its clearly just cocaine.

I'd rather not have sniffed it but the former addict in myself wouldnt let me throw it away

Yes it is. Chinamen are producing synthetic opioids and sending them to the US and the UK to destabilize your nations. It might not be as bad as the US, but there's been at least over 100 deaths of young persons form fentanyl traces in the UK since May. Either drop that habit or you'll be part of the statistics.

>>
>>75331754
A few bad batches is bad. It should be zero. And it should be zero people partaking in cocaine. Mao killed all junkies when he got in power and China immediately became a super-power afterwards. Guess what's the drug usage there? Nil. Guess which nations are failing? The ones partaking in something that's "not a big deal".

Drinking alcohol is a larger problem that what most people realise. What I mean by this is regularly consuming alcohol will ruin your mental health and bodily function. Mental health in particular is the most overlooked aspect. We hear about pancreas and liver damage, weight gain, falling over and withdrawals. But after that most people think once you get over the hangover you're back to baseline

It couldn't be further from the truth. Alcohol addiction completely overhauls your brain and it can take years to get out of it again.

According to a popular health website (healtline), here is what they have to say about the timeline of recovery

>Stage 1: Abstinence stage. Duration 1-2 years
While in this stage, some important steps may include:

accepting you have an addiction
welcoming self-honesty and reflection
learning coping skills to manage cravings
joining self-help groups
developing healthy self-care habits
learning to say no
letting go of friends with problematic drinking habits
recognizing and understanding the risks of cross-addiction
developing healthy alternatives to drinking
viewing yourself as a non-user

>Stage 2: Post-acute withdrawal Duration Up to 2 years
To avoid a relapse at this stage, your mental health is vital.

Symptoms of post-acute withdrawal tend to include:

mood changes
anxiety
irritability
varying energy
little enthusiasm
disrupted concentration
disrupted sleep

>Stage 3: Repair This stage typically lasts for 2–3 years.
During this stage, important tasks may include:

going to cognitive behavioral therapy sessions to overcome negative thought processes and avoid catastrophizing
recognizing that you are not your addiction
mending relationships
embracing discomfort
improving self-care strategies, which are integral to recovery
leading a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle
participating in self-help groups
developing healthy alternatives to drinking
>>
>>75331804
And finally, after 3-5 years of quitting alcohol you can then enter the growth stage. This is where you are free from alcohols mental grip and you can start to prosper as a person free from booze.

>Stage 4: Growth Stage
The growth stage is all about improving and moving forward. During this period, you can expect to develop new skills you may have never learned that made you more susceptible to AUD in the first place.

Some important tasks during this stage may include:

identifying and repairing negative thought patterns
breaking self-destructive cycles
recognizing how habits have been passed down from previous generations
letting go of resentments
confronting fears via therapy or mind-body relaxation techniques
learning to set healthy boundaries
giving back and helping others
checking in with yourself regularly to make sure your lifestyle is still serving you and others
The challenge of this stage is to essentially develop and maintain healthy life skills that will serve you for a lifetime. An exciting part of this period is that it can lead you to a happier life full of welcomed change and constant improvement.

It's a lifelong journey to quit booze and it might take you a year or two just to stop craving and relapsing but when you do, keep going, because each year will get better than the last. If you feel like it's all for nothing because nothing much has changed after 6 month, just remember the repair and growth stage awaits those that abstain

It's better to count calories and forget the scale.

500 calorie deficit a day is 1lb a week
1000 calorie deficit a day is 2lb a week

Doesnt matter how your scale fluctuates on a daily basis, you will hit that level of weight loss if your calories are in that deficit. Water and shit weight contributes to the fluctuations a lot

When I was using 10 kg for things like hammer curls I still had to use 5 kg from lateral raises.
One exercise I would recommend adding is push ups. It's a great exercise as long as you struggle with doing less than 20 push ups in a set.

Have that feeling im waking up a lb lighter in the morning. Ive done this for long enough to know the feeling of good weightloss. If you end up with an eating disorder while you're fat it will have more time to dig in its claws and thus harder to treat. Once you have a dangerously low bmi it will start to kill you faster than being a bit overweight would've.
>>
What does "Eucharist" literally mean? >Answer:
Thanksgiving.

So, for Catholics, they are told to eat something in order to be saved which is intended to be eaten in THANKS for salvation.

That means Roman Catholicism heretically and irrationally distorts the EFFECT of something as being its CAUSE, as evidenced by what the word Eucharist means (and how it's defined in the Bible: as a thankful REMEMBRANCE of Christ's ONE sacrifice on the cross, for us that have already been saved by trusting in that sacrifice of His: on the cross).

I've been at a 1000 calorie deficit for a month now. I've gone a couple of days at an extra 300 calorie deficit and really want a bigger breakfast today. Just a couple of boiled eggs for a month is killing me mentally.

>>75331970

where do the extra 100 calories come from,
you break the eggs into a non stick pan and start scrambling them with a spoon, no oil or anything
>>
I love putting away dinner for my family when I'm fasting. The smell is so heavy and thick in the air when my mother cooks, it's almost nauseating. I've had everything she's made so many times in the past - and in such excessive portions - that now I can just think about the experience of eating whatever it is without actually touching it and get a vivid shadow of the same satisfaction. Piping hot hamburger and veggie stew, chicken spaghetti, breaded pork chops. It's like taking the best parts of eating and replaying the highlight reel with none of the terrible consequences of actually indulging. There's also something thrilling about exercising restraint so closely that gives me a deep satisfaction. And when I actually need to eat, food is much more delicious. I've had a lifetime's worth of full bellies, now I get to bask in it and pace myself. You should be made to sniff food all day through a barred cage until you understand this

Sup /fit/, im new to this neck of the woods.

Recently started lifting, and absolutory loving it. But i have a question i think only you guys might be able to answer.

Iv been getting a strange sensation in my right forearm, fold of the elbow, and lower bicep while doing anything really. I can only describe it as the same bubbly feeling of blowing air through a wet towel. IT doesnt hurt, it just freaks me out.

What does this mean anons, should i be concerned?

So this is what its like to have an eating disorder. The expressive words about smelling food and fantasising about eating it while feeling powerful withholding desires to have a sense of control is fascinating.

If I smelled my family eating dinner the only thoughts that would come to my head is "Im a bit hungry" and I might eat a bit. Interesting perspective

Does anybody have experience dealing with the people around you trying to sabotage your progress? I was a fat fuck my whole life, born into a family of other fat fucks, and at first they were supportive of me loaing weight.

I've gone from 240 to 210 and it seems like they're on a mission to fuck it all up. Mom leaves chocolates and junk food in my room for me when I return after work. Dad can't stop cooking the greasiest or card ridden foods and gets unreasonably angry when I make myself some soup instead. Older sister getting passive aggressive and even "accidentally" threw out my dumbells and stretch bands.

It just feels so fucking tiresome. I told my grandparents I was getting a personal trainer and my dad went into a full blown schizo rant about how I'm wasting money and I've become obsessed with fitness. It's everyday with this shit.

I think they stopped bothering me one day when I kinda snapped at em when they asked about it again.

Stay strong anon, you will become stronger the more you defend against their attacks and at some point they either stop trying to sabotage you or you become so numb to their attempts at fattening you up that it doesnt matter anymore. In the end your body is your responsibility, they see you making good progress and they are envious of you. However they are weak crabs in a bucket who try to pull others back to their level.

you need to radically modify your perception of standard portions. That's a completely absurd amount

Once you eat like a normal human for a month you'll be disgusted with your old self
>>
>>75332459
How is it not that simple? Does food stop giving you calories? Does it stop giving you pleasure? Either of these sounds awesome.
>>
>>75332242
This is exactly why fat people NEED to start counting calories at the start to really figure out how big portions of food to make. If someone is just eyeballing their food it becomes so easy to over do it by accident. Especially when cooking stuff like adding fat here and there (for flavor of course) and whoops, you accidentally added hundreds of calories without realizing it.

No, it won't. Onedity has historically killed more than anorexia has. Anorexia is not starving to death in Russian winter, it's refusing food. Most die from malnutrition, not Starvation. Eugenia is still alive, most of the longest lived humans are under 22BMI. All an anorexic has to do is consume vitamins and minerals, remember there are more salts than potassium, proper fat to absorb certain vitamins and minerals, and consume more protein than sugar.
Not even 2% of ALL AMERICANS OVER AGE 20 are underweight.

Then stop drinking monster and coffee you retard, drink only water and electrolytes. You must be one who likes watching their body fall apart and become frail. If you care about your body and your physical health at all then all you have to do is the most basic research on how to take care of your kidneys, what certain dysfunction can mean, how you can still live your lifestyle to the best of your desires while also taking care of your body. The tiniest inkling of research would tell you how you can best manage your liquid intake to take care of your kidneys.

welcome back fat loss anime nuns and ducks. at the moment, I should be studying, but I am procrastinating while enjoying some garbage food. yes, I know it's a hindrance, but I can't help it. that is why I have come to ask you: how does one stop oneself from becoming a glutton? how does one escape gluttony when once stricken by it? it's almost as if I am addicted to the foods in question. and I know some would say that I've no one to blame but myself, but I can't help but feel like external forces are very powerful and compelling at making me do things that I know I shouldn't. I often wonder if this is a curse, or if I am predisposed to engage in addict like behavior. at any rate, as always, I appreciate everything that you do, and I can only beg for your continued prayers. I thought a few days of near maintenance would have made a difference. I wasn't counting calories, and I hung out with friends the other day and ate 5 slices of pizza (some with stuffed crust), 8 of those fun-size chocolate bars, and a 1 L bottle of Pepsi.

I once did 2400 calories in one meal but did OMAD for the next few days with only my 400 calorie breakfast to average it out. I'm mostly concerned that every maintenance day is another day longer I have to diet. With plateaus, I know they'll end eventually and my weight will rapidly drop to match what it would have been if I've kept up my deficit the entire time.

Ok I need someone to help me with the math of my weightloss.
So when I was 18 I did a calorie counting diet while weighing about 220 pounds. I went down to around 1200 calories a day and I lost around 50 pounds in about 3 months. Now I wasn’t uber healthy or anything, I just ate less. So I still had jam sandwiches sometimes or drank milk (I’m an addict). The healthiest meal I made was microwaveable golden rice with a tin of mackerel every so often. Now I’m 29 and 280 pounds and starting to count again. But everywhere I look for a calorie calculator says I’ll only lose like 2 pounds a week? How did I lose 50 in 3 months before? If I’m going from around 3k+ calories a day to 1200, will that not speed up the process
>>
>>75333499
Also from Little we know about this drug that has not gone through longitudinal testing, you have to continuously take ozempic to keep your losses

Remember to take front and back pictures, just trust me my only before pics are pictures taken by family without my knowledge. It's not as impactful.
If you haven't already, clean your house of all junk you know you shouldn't have. Start meal PLANNING, you don't have to prep but you should plan all your meals so you can't just cheat and binge/get takeout/buy food you don't need. Start at the beginning of the week whatever day you want, think about 7 meals for dinner you like that you'd like to eat. Pin a meal to a day. Done. You can have several breakfast options if you want, whatever works. Look into what normal portions ACTUALLY look like, measure your intake. If it makes you want to binge to just start hard restriction, then start by reducing your portion. Instead of a Large BigMac meal, get a medium. Don't eat back your exercise calories, and if exercise makes it too hard to eat under 1800cal a day then don't exercise until you CAN control yourself.

- increase your insulin product
- slow your stomach emptying
- reduce food intake
There are non-fat-jab ways of raising your natural GLP-1 levels, such as having a diet with a higher amounts of fiber.
Regardless of how it's done, these basic changes will compound over time and can impact the following:
- reduce your blood pressure
- improve lipid disorders
- lower body weight
- reduce risk of heart disease and kidney disease
- put type 2 diabetes into remission
- reduce risks of dementia and related cognitive decline

I understand that I'm looking at it up close so my perspective is warped, and that when I see myself from the side in a mirror, I look pretty thin, but it still feels like I have a ton of fat to lose. When I get to sub-125 18.5 BMI, I want to be around 11% body fat, but I can't help but feel like it'll still be 15+%.
>>
>>75334366
So it's literally pointless if you just know how to control portions and eat less?
>>
>>75334450
Anything that can help is literally pointless if you don't need the help, anon.
If you don't have metabolic syndrome, you don't need to take a medication that'll help you manage your metabolic syndrome.
Also, if you're not overweight because you know how to control your portions and eat well, you don't technically need to be here.

After fighting it for almost a year today I decided to start counting calories. I still thing alternate diet methods are useful such as fasting/keto ect. However only using them leaves me always unsure of the what's, when's and how I am losing weight.
The number might go down but then I am blindsided by a huge spike. Was it water weight or did I forget I ate 9000 calories at a party two days ago?
I have found that I am a very emotional eater, what I end and how much I eat depends mostly on how I am feeling that day. If I weigh myself in the morning and the number is better than I might be more motivated to keep going.
If it's bad I might just say fuck it and turn it into two bad days. Without tracking anything I have no idea what my patterns of behavior are in the long term.

So today I made up an excel sheet and I am going to track my daily weight and calories. It's not going to be perfect, I don't have a kitchen scale atm so it will be rough estimates but I will try to estimate high to make up for that.
I will still do things like fasting and I don't have a set calorie target. I'm doing this more because I want to have something I can look back on and see some hard numbers to hopefully help me figure out where the weak points are in my diet.
>>
>>75332431
depends how much cardio. i set my upper limit target at a 500 calorie deficit, but i mentally aim for closer to 1000. most days i'm somewhere in the middle, but if i do a lot of cardio the 500 cal deficit is enough of a challenge
>>

>>
>>75335098
it really depends. some people don't feel many negative effects of calorie restriction
>>
>>75335080
You're going to waste away losing a bunch of muscle lowering your BMR and make it more difficult for you to keep it off
Also the more muscle the better you metabolize carbs and will have less incidence of blood sugar problem
>>
>>75335110
Clearly that anon does if he ballooned up to 280 fucking pounds.
>>
>>75335098
I did this before when I was 18 and I was fine. I was lighter and aiming to lose less weight, though.
>>75335134
I don’t have muscle anyways, I’m a weakling. It’s pretty much all fat on me. But fair point about keeping it off. When I lost weight before I did end up putting it back on over the years but I think that more to do with completely stopping tracking how many calories I was consuming. Maybe I should try and build some muscle after I lose weight, though. I hate how weak I am

killing your gains
>>
>>75334188
Normally when you try to take care of a serious dysfunction of your organs with the normal/healthy approach and it backfires, this means you need to see a doctor absolutely immediately because you are actively killing yourself and it's gone far past what you can do at home.
>Ex: if you have a wound on your body and you try to just clean it with rubbing alcohol and put a bandage on it, but instead of better it gets hot and more painful and seems to be getting more red, you need to go to the ER because you have a serious infection that will kill you given more time.
>Ex: you believe that you have the flu, because you're nauseous you're lethargic your joints hurt, and you have a high fever. Naturally, you take Tylenol and a vitamin, and rest. A week later, you're WORSE than you were with an alarming new symotom like a cough or diarrhea or severe pain elsewhere. It's time to go to the ER.
I really hope you're not the teen bulimic because if so your parents clearly hate you for ignoring you die.
>>
>>75334539
With that attitude, yeah I'd say so.
>>
>>75335178
I didn't plan on lifting at all when I started losing weight but I started after hearing about the benefits and now it's something I really enjoy, definitely worth trying out
You'll have to eat enough protein for it to do anything for you btw

how do you guys get consistent weigh in?
I've tried bathroom in the morning, then weigh after poop/pee, and before eating breakfast, seems to be consistent. If I weigh at any other time it is different by 2-10 pounds.
>>
>>75335259
i don't. i think it's the lifting and salt but my line is a constant rollercoaster weighing daily
i just relax and don't worry about it. the trend doesn't lie
>>
>>75335259
Well the ideal way to do it is to weigh yourself at the same time every day and look at how your weight is trending on a graph to see whether it's going up or down. I just try to weigh myself whenever I've got an empty stomach though, which is rare. I should probably start weighing myself every day and track the trend instead of doing what I do now. It's becoming more and more difficult to be able to weigh myself on an empty stomach, because I don't shit until later in the day, and by then, I've already eaten, so my stomach won't be empty. And I can't really fast either because I need the energy for lifting.
>>
>>75335259
>different by 2-10 pounds.
What the fuck
I weigh like 3 times a week, I try to do it after a morning shit but I'm not always regular when dieting so sometimes I just accept it'll be like a pound over that day, the overall trend isn't gonna change

What is the best option for counting calories? I just want something really simple. Im estimating im around 1500 a day but it would be good to have some more certainty.
>>
>>75335481
I remember trying to look like this for my kids and they chose to go hungry for two days. Back to oatmeal/egg/cereal/yogurt breakfasts, picked at vegetables, and bread/pasta/carbs. I tried seasoning meat and vegetables, leaving them plain, eating it very deliberately in front of the kids, putting it all on my plate so their natural child envy would make them curious. Only luck is with very plain fish, very plain chicken, and rarely beef. Sometimes broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, and very very rarely fresh cut green beans. Oh and virtually all dairy is fine.

Not gonna happen my man. I mean if you really put in the work from now until then, like fasting, lots of cardio, you'll get lean real quick. But you won't look shredded. You'll just be a kind of thin pudgy guy instead of a muscular blob. I'm kind of in the same boat myself, wondering if I'm gonna make it in time. For me there's a chance, but for you, I think you won't look 'good' until next summer.

Then you were never truly fat. 2.5k is like the normal to just maintain weight if you’re a tall guy (maybe a bold assumption of my part). Over 3k is easily done for a fatty.
My daily looked like
>main meal of anywhere between 700 to 1000 calories
>3 pints of milk which is 825 calories
>ice cream which was 210 calories
>1L of diluted orange juice which was around 100 calories
>2 packets of crisps which was 250 calories
>a sandwich which was 370 calories
>oats and honey bar which was 200 calories
>8 chocolate biscuits which was 500 calories
>yoghurt which was 140 calories
And this is all spread out throughout the day and not in actual order. I don’t even feel like it’s that extreme compared to what some fatties eat but it was still easy to go over and gain weight through that
>>
>>75336034
That's the spirit
>>
>>75336132
This is why you're fat.
>>
>>75336216
Did I not say 2.5k was the amount to maintain weight? And that over 3k is easily done for a fatty? I’m also 6ft 1in so it would be slightly more to actually maintain. Either way, I know I was overeating which is why I’ve cut down to 1200 a day
>>
>>75335802
Eat out all day, every day at restaurant chains that display all their calories on a nutrition sheet. Undoubtedly the simplest.
>>
>>75336132
how did you afford all that? were you a neet just eaeting whatever your mum bought or were you buying all this stuff yourself?
>>
>>75336232
OBESE CLASS 2 IS NOT A PLACE TO MAINTAIN. Oh sure yes a super mega fatty eats 3k, and a super fatty actively still binge eating can eat 4k. If you're trying g to lose weight you should be at MAX 2,000cal.
Oh look there's your height obese and eating just above 2,500cal to maintain obesity and UNDER 3,000 to GAIN WEIGHT!

It's a synthetic version of a gut hormone that seems to signal fullness to your brain in ways we don't understand. In addition to making your digestion slow down and your stomach stay full longer, it affects your appetite totally outside of your awareness. It's really hard to explain. Nothing to do with willpower or self control or flavor or anything, the drive to eat just isn't there the same way.

It's like... if obesity were caused by peeing too much and everyone was just like "have more willpower, just hold it bro!" but you have overactive bladder and they don't, and then one day they just come out with a drug that turns that off.

I'm taking an ultra low dose to stick to my cut and it's a huge help. My health is way better across the board too. I might honestly take a small amount of this for life if I have to. Has really challenged a lot of my assumptions about fat people and behavioral approaches to obesity.
