I can't lift up my arms all the way straight up to 180 degree angle with my body so I tried doing shoulder streching exercises. But when I did the stretching (in a Muslim praying type of position) it's not like a pulling sensation of muscle like you normally feel when stretching but my shoulders started to ache as I tried to stretch my arms further.

Is that normal? How are you supposed to get better shoulder mobility?
