Seriously pissed at my bitch ass upper body. Been making solid gains these past 3 months and wanted to continue to end of Jan before I switched to cutting.
Nope, pathetic arms decided they can't handle doing weighted pull ups, dips, and low bar squats.
I've been working around it for 3 weeks but yesterday enough was enough. I need to take time off.
I'm super pissed. Sort of the obvious RICE bullshit what exercises and drugs can I do to speed this nigger up?

that's not the problem, the problem is upwards - long head has this thingie called biceps pulley, u are twisting it curling in front of u

yeah, so what, movement is exact same for biceps - elbow flexion, in front of u, u're trying to rip that pulley from shoulder joint, muscle is sputtering misfireing, tension jumps from one muscle to other in miliseconds and this jerking action fucks up biceps elbow tendon

to heal it u wait till pain is mostly gone, in the meantime u will do supinations against resistance - tie belt on 5 kilo plate, wrap belt around palm so that it pronates your forearm by unwinding, forearm must be completely supported - no tension goes above elbow
and pronation against resistance - tie belt the other way arond on palm

when the pain is gone u grow and strengthen long head of biceps and brachialis - unilateral holds, u don't fucking curl, u movet he weight an inch up and down slowly in full external shoulder rotation standing, elbow must be supported on your palm or book so that shoulder is completely relaxed

and short head and coracobrachialis don't like curling at all either, they love however to adduct arm, so u bend over with light dumbbell (5-7 kilos) and let it slide to pinky side of palm, then lift your elbow to abdomen bending elbow ever so slightly, dumbbell winds up around your knee at most

and then u understand that u have never had as big and beautiful biceps and forearm as defined and grip as strong and u stop with ur retardo weighted pullups for biceps

heal up nigga. That shit sucks. I took several months to get strength back. When I noticed my injury, I spent my next gym session doing a lot of workouts to test it out.

I was able to do close-grip pull downs to hit biceps, and did that for a while and kept weight lighter.
