Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per pound of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and lose fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body eating away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

Here is mine
200g broccoli 70kcal
2cups bone broth 80kcal
1/2 cup of marinara sauce 100kcal
In a pan I mix the broth and sauce, reducing it at a simmer over medium heat.
On a baking sheet I lay out the broccoli into a single layer and cook it at 350 for about 15min
When done I add the broccoli to the sauce in the pan, which should now be somewhat thickened, mix then pour it all into a big bowl and eat with a large glass of water.

Anything is worth having if it fits within your macro targets and you enjoy them. That said Nuts are very calorie dense, low in satiety, and easy to overindulge upon, so generally speaking avoiding them is probably the smart move for fatties, but if you love them and want to have them, and you've got the calories to spare measure out a serving and enjoy. Just don't 'snack' on them carelessly or you can find you ate 500kcals and put yourself out of deficit before you even realized it.

Workout everyday, but work out a different muscle group each time. Give the previous muscle group(s) 2~3 days to recover before working them out again. Then you just cycle through your split throughout the week. This will establish it as a habitual part of your daily routine. Set a time and make sure you get out there to the gym and do your sets.

If you're just starting out focus hard on like 2 exercises a day, you can add more as you go. The important part is building the habit. Soon it will be like bathing, brushing your teeth, ect, just something you do everyday.

Why do this? Tomato sauce for a pizza shouldn't have much sugar in it at all.

Pizza sauce is like 4 ingredients: plum tomatoes (peeled, canned, San Marzano or similar preferably), a few cloves of garlic, like a tbsp of olive oil, tsp of oregano

throw it in a blender or food processor until smooth, will make enough sauce for like half a dozen pizzas.

Anyway, I buy mine in bulk at my neighborhood hippie grocery store, 3 lbs at a time, mix of almond, macadamia, cashew, pecan, Brazil and walnut. Hazelnuts and pistachios would probably be fine too, just don't throw peanuts in there, they overpower fucking everything. They're not even real nuts.
Anyway, buy them raw, preheat your oven to 280 F, spread nuts on a wide pan, put in oven for 30 to 45 minutes.
My wife isn't really into (vegetable) nuts, but about 5 to 10 minutes after I take them out of the oven, I bring her a little cup of them, they're nice and warm and she always finishes them.

An adjustable weight bench, and a pair of adjustable dumbells is really all you need for 95% of exercises.

If you want to isolated the ass barbell hip thrusts are usually recommended, there are also reverse hyperextensions but those require fancy equipment and subjecting yourself to the "fuck my ass" posture in public, so guys tend to avoid them.

Squats and Deads will also hit the ass, but they tend to target the quads and hamstrings more, so if thats all you're doing you'll end up with overdevloped quads.

Yes, I gained some weight because of Christmas and new year eating. I was 205 last Friday, now it's gone down to 201. Used to be 190 back in September, but that was due to my work environment, some working out and not eating enough vs what I was losing.

I must be calculating something wrong because I feel stuffed.
Oats 40g + 100ml milk + Flax seeds - 222kcal + banana for 310 total.
3 Tortillas and 200g chicken breasts 720kcal total.

So I ate 1030kcal today and I feel stuffed as hell.
I'm just basing this off of google numbers and the tortilla labels.
First time counting too, but the measurements are exact for the portions at least.

I'm starting to feel like the amount was never the problem it was all the extra sugary shit, energy drinks, pastries and chips on top of the meals.
Had to basically force down the last portion and I'm still missing 470kcal for today somehow. Feel like I'm about to burst.

What's your height and weight? If you are really fat jumping jacks might be too high impact at the moment. An alternative would be weightless squats (ass to ground) and push ups, on your knees if neccessary. Both will get your heart rate up and also build up muscle. Between those two exercises it is close to a fully body work out. Building up muscle is really helpful for getting leaner as you will burn more calories naturally the more muscle you have, also you build more physical strength and endurance which lets you be more active, longer to burn even more calories which makes you even leaner and in turn again lets you be more active longer. Plus muscles help with metabolic health as they store the majority of your body's glycogen. This creates a bigger buffer so it is easier for your body to lower blood sugar levels as it has bigger glycogen storage capacity.

Nahhh i know I'll be an active alcoholic the second I forget that it's constant work against my alcoholic (fatty) brain. I need to be reminded of what complete lack of control looks like, show others it's possible to make it, and help them where i can.
