Yeah definitely gonna need a singlet. Also familiarize yourself with the rulebook and the commands. If you can have someone say them to you when you practice lifts then that would be helpful. I believe those feds are heels up bench as well. Lastly, you can calculate what score you're around with a dots calculator. Pretty sure most feds use dots right now.

hit 365lbs on reverse band pull yesterday. it moved super quickly so I made the mistake of deciding to jump to 405 because I was overconfident, and failed it. went down to 375 and failed two attempts. If I had made proper jumps, I probably could've hit 385. big sad.

on the upside I think I've had a bit of a growth spurt or something because I'm a bit stronger now. did 5x5 at 155lbs on bench today and it felt very easy. hoping to 1RM at 185 or 190 soon.

Why? Do you need low testosterone for those to be safe? These things don't interfere with each other and pose no risk. Yes, ideally you'd conduct an experiment like this without having those factors present (including your extra weight), but you don't have that luxury.

You don't do it based on feeling. You get your blood work done and adjust based on that. Thankfully TRT is very simple and is unlikely likely require an AI, but even that is not complicated. DYI hormone therapy is documented very thoroughly - for every issue you can find detailed (scientific) guidelines. I know that you could read enough into it in the span of a single afternoon.

They are scary. It's going to be shitty once, but you'll quickly realize that it's painless. You can do TRT subcutaneously, which means that you don't even enter a muscle. You do not feel a needle moving in body fat. It's going to be a tiny tinge once it penetrates skin (at worst) which hurts much less than squeezing it between two finger nails.
