But no sinusitis?Story time,I've felt ill and not quite myself for years. Bad sinuses, allergies, stuffy all the time, can barely taste or smell anything, dry. Chronic fatigue, random pains, just shit quality of life. Last year I got the meme flu c*vid and was very sick for 2 weeks. Once I recovered I felt FUCKING AMAZING for a solid week or two. Tons of energy, could smell and taste really well, better than I have since my late teens. I believe all I took for covid recovery was serrapeptase and quercitin w/bromelain. Quit once I got better. After those 2 weeks I went back to my usual. Energy, gone. Smell and taste, mostly gone. Brain fog is back full force, etc. Depression/apathy came back as well. Those 2 weeks were the happiest I've been and the best I've felt in so fucking long.Anyways. I've many symptoms of nasal polyps as well but my ENT says he never saw any. I've been examined and he says I don't have an infection. Though I have had some nasty visible sinus infections in the past. I've had a culture done on my nose, there was a bad bacteria found in there... don't recall the name. I was told by my doctor it was only addressable by using cipro, which I'm never taking again (bad CNS side effects from one dose in the past, not touching fluoroquinalones ever again.) Thankfully I've recovered from that.I use a netti pot once a day with baking soda, saline, xylitol, sometimes I mix NAC into it. Helps. But apparently doesn't cure whatever is going on. I just started serrapeptase and quercitin again last week, very little changes though from it this time around.I'm at the end of my rope bros. I'm not suicidal but a life like this is no life at all. I'm just so fucking tired all the time and I miss being able to smell and taste things. Pls help.

>>75723225try nadi sodhana (alternate nostril breathing) sometimes this relieves my non-allergic rhinitis. idk what you have I think it's important that you switch nostrils after the inhalation for some reasonthis kind of thing is probably neurological which is why doctors don't know what's going on. might as well try to trick your brain somehow
>>75723261A lot of the "worms" people shit out on these "cleanses" is chunks of intestine lining
>>75723225You may have an unbalanced sinus microbiome. You could try sinus probiotics, the 2 that I know of are Lactococcus lactis https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8058912/ and Lactobacillus sakei https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4786373/I'm currently trying sakei but I don't see an improvement, but it can be because of the strain, other people managed to get improvement from sausage starter instead of medical probiotics.

>>75723225Interesting that I see this post now but I've been going through the same thing. Had a bad sinus infection end of last year (at least according to the doctors) and the antibiotics didn't help. On the second visit they thought it was RSV (contagious virus) going around but there is no treatment and I refuse to get vaxed. Overall, spent like 3 months exhausted and brain fogged worse than during Covid with no idea what was happening. I'm finally back to normal and here is what actually helped. Long walks in the sun (this noticeably alleviated symptoms after 1 week. Even if you feel like shit you have to get some sun and walk). Removing any caffeine for a month. I took Monolaurin and it helped. Lastly, Oregano oil was a HUGE help, highly recommend. Good luck.
>>75723736Oral oregano right? I imagine you didn't put it in your nose Glad you fully recovered man. I'll look into monolaurin. Haven't read about that at all.
Just found the ol results for my sinus swap over a year ago. "Heavy growth of Klebsiella pneumoniae."That's bad. "Many gram negative bacilli"Actually not sure what this means. Time to research I suppose.
I just remembered something retarded. My ENT did treat me, for a week or two. But he recommended double the time, like an entire month on antibiotics to hopefully cure the bacterial overgrowth. I said no at the time because I figured it'd fuck my already messed up gut well beyond repair. Maybe that's what I need. Just nuke everything and try to rebuild from there. I dunno bros.
>>757232251. eliminate all dairy for 3 weeks2. make sure you air out your rooms after showering and cooking. if you have to sleep in a tiny apartment next to your stovetop don't ever cook more than scrambled eggs. get a microwave.3. eliminate whole grains for 3 weeks. mold residue on grains such as oats that can fuck up your sinuses.4. make sure you clean your floors twice a week.
>>75724414I kept getting chronic infections years ago and did the 6 weeks of antibiotics. Apparently, the sinuses are the last place antibiotics start working so you really have to take the long course. What finally helped was surgery to shave my turbinates and open up my nostrils. This allowed me to more easily breathe through my nose and help keep snot from sitting up there on the shelf above my mouth and getting putrid.Feel like I just got my first sinus cold in a decade but it cleared like a champ. Dealing more with fatigue right now than a sore throat or nose because of the surgery.
>>75723225i got that shit when i was 16, never treated it (yes i was retarded) and i think i never recovered from it. i now have permanent weakness in my sinuses meaning everytime i get sick its Sinusitis
Look up binocular vision disorder
>>75723225I had this almost exact situation as you, around 2021. Symptoms of loss of smell/taste and nasal polyps. Except I also developed breathing issues, including sudden shortness of breath, tightness of the chest, etc.I saw around 5 doctors, including and ENT, and after like a year of dealing with the shit I was finally diagnosed by an allergist with AERD, or aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease. Basically in addition to the symptoms you and I share, any aspirin/ibuprofen/NSAID I take triggers an immune response, and almost immediately it causes me an asthma attack.Don't bother with the anons telling you to 'stop drinking milk'. Please see a reputable allergist. Mine diagnosed me within 5 minutes of meeting him and it truly changed my life. My current quality of life is miles better than it was than when I first met him. I got my sense of taste and smell (mostly) back, and I can breathe and sleep normally again.
>>75723225>>75726386I swear ENT specialists are useless, I had a CT scan and was told my breathing was "pristine". Maybe during the scan is showed up like that, but I have trouble breathing while sleeping, talking, or working out. I have a deviated septum but its not that much. My left nostril feels useless, has anyone here gotten septoplasty? I just want to breathe man
