Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.

Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per pound of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and lose fat much quicker. Not lifting results in the body eating away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

I injured my arm in April, tendonitis, so that has limited my lifting - the only thing I've found I can do for my upper body that doesn't hurt it are pushups (plus the wrist flexor and extensor exercises a physio recommended)
It is getting better and I've been able to resume with very low weights bicep curls (5kg) and tricep extensions (3kg) last week. I'm trying to compensate for their weight by taking them very slowly to hopefully get that time under tension going.

alright boys, here's the plan. i AM going to speedrun those last 5lbs. i've been losing weight at 1lb per week lately but now i am motivated to reach my goal faster than that. so here's what i'm going to do. it's simple.

bodybuilders do that because it's the fastest way to get the most amount of muscle (after you've already been lifting for years)
If you've never lifted before your goal right now should be to hit the gym immediately, you'll see massive gains even as you're losing weight. The most important thing when building muscle is actually lifting, the second is having enough protein, being in a caloric surplus or deficit is like the 4th priority.

I would recommend you try hitting the gym now to get a feel for it, and fit in a protein shake or eggs into your diet (not sure how that will work with glp blockers)
Once you're about 20 pounds from your goal weight I would hop off the meds and try eating a high protein deficit instead, or do rotating fasts so you can get in more meat and slow the weight loss down a bit
