Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.

You can have them, but have them in a strategic manner. Glycogen before and after resistance/endurance training, portion control. Workouts actually make you less hungry. Taking a break from all of then will reset your cravings a bit, so you'll still get them afterwards but they become more like body signals.

In a way, yes. Even when you switch from isolation to bars you'll have some shakiness, but it's from the stabilizers and not the main force group. You have the muscles to perform the movement, but your neural pathways and cns aren't yet unlocked for them. I’ve been crash dieting and I believe it’s 10x better than just doing a normal diet, you get to ur goal faster and just keep the weight thru pure rage, hate and remorse, most fatties have been rejected and treated like dogshit their whole life, that alone should be enough motivation to not lose to a freakin plate of food and get lean as fk to mog normies with no self control.
I don’t need glp1 either, everytime I get down to 9-10% bf it’s thru pure degenerate dieting, I got back to 15% bf and now I’m cutting back down on extremely aggressive 1000 deficit, eating the same shit everyday, Greek yogurt, 300-400g of chicken breast, a lot of broccoli, some olive oil on chicken for fat and 6 scoops of whey every single day, it’s like 1k cal a day at 150g protein and extremely low carb/fats, is it miserable? Yes but who cares, I’m old enough and have done this for way too long I can just say fuck you to the hunger.
It’s what works for me, I don’t wanna spend 6 months what I can do in 1-2.

I'm not reading all that about the pilgrimage, but I'll assume it's a wilderness path with bouldering and your usual rangering.

To get your weight into control I'd suggest to read about diets that would work for you, I suspect intermittent fasting 16:8 gives you the best result to start with. Your morning walks are great, try to do them in a fasted state. HR2 cardio is key to fat loss, IF enhances it subtly. Aim for 40-80 min walks, speed and diatance don't matter for now, but aim to be in constant motion. You'll see the drop in weight soon.

Dietary wise portion control for now, aim for 75g fat and ~140g protein (more on lift days).

Swimming is pure excellence.

I'm doing these things for two sets until failure with the aid of resistance bands at home:

- Planck (min. 60s)
- Superman (min. 60s)
- Pushups
- Situps
- Row (with band on feet)
- Inverse Butterfly (standing, band in hands, arms not stretched)
- Sidesteps (with band looped around calves)
- Shoulder Raises (standing with band under feet opposite to trained shoulder)
- Squats

I do mixup some of the exercises so i.e. I'll do Squats on monday and leave out Rowing that day. Not following a fixed schedule, but since I'm also doing cycling quite a bit I balance my workout around my overall day. It's also not doing X reps for 2 sets but rather do all these excercises in a row and then repeat from the top. I found this to be more efficient to hit higher fatigue levels during the second set.
Mind you, this is all meant for training at home without a gym, so with a gym available you can be more effective due to additional weights.

Girlfriend left me at the start of September because she wasn't attracted to me anymore. Really woke me the fuck up to get my shit together. Down 17kg - from 110, so more to go - and my general fitness has never been better. Mobility routines to fix years of being sedentary annihilating my flexibility, some basic lifting, walking *everywhere* (20-30k steps a day). Sleep has never been better from a combination of magnetic nose strips (deviated septum, could only ever sleep on one side if I wanted to breathe), no phone at least an hour before bed, only reading which is something I used to do a lot but fell off of. Finally made some progress learning piano, hired a tutor.

Not sure what else I'll throw into the mix just yet but I'm feeling pretty high with the self improvement streak. I think a new job. Retail management sucks ass.

35m 5'7". The plan is to cut from 195lbs to 165lbs. A year and a half ago I got to 175 and called it good enough but that was really the upper end of good enough and very quickly got up to 185 again and maintained there for a while. Then this winter I decided to let go and hit 195 at which point I'm starting to feel chubbier than I'd like. Face looking fuller, double chin, gut sticking out, pants feeling tight. Cutting down to 165 (15%) should give me enough wiggle room to bulk up to 20% which will allow me to cut back down to 15% without these multi month starvation phases.
The plan is to lose 1.5lbs/wk. Once a month take a maintenance break. Count calories and macros. Eat 1g protein/lb bodyweight. Eat at least 60g fats. Slight drop in volume for my lifting program but otherwise no modifications to lifting or conditioning.
I'm looking forward to fitting in my pants again. Not having a double chin. I'm hoping I can actually start running without fucking up my ankles. Hopefully will get a boost to my cardio and testosterone levels.
I'm dreading losing my strength gains, but hopefully this will give me a foundation to bulk for gains without getting too fat.

But with chipotle and places like it there’s such a huge variance between what one employee or another serves. Famously if you order in person you get a way bigger burrito than if you order for pickup, I imagine the pickup one is closer to the listed nutrition content online. Shitty as it is, something like a McDonald’s burger doesn’t have a lot of wiggle room like that.
